Livingston County (Michigan) Sheriff Mike Murphy being interviewed by Frank Beckman today said he thinks Governor Gretchen Whitmer's "stay home - stay safe" economic lockdown of the state has been too heavy handed and that people will not tolerate it much longer. He said it won't be violence in the streets but people will just start to ignore the Governor's order. Violation is a 90 day misdemeanor or one step higher than a speeding ticket. He said it's impossible to enforce and thus far in Livingston county they caught one drunken man who went out for cigarettes and crashed his...

Julia Chatterley's lover: Harvard? The CNN International anchor does seem to express an excessive fondness for the Cambridge institution—coupled with a raging animus toward President Trump. On this morning's New Day, Chatterley trashed as a "total fabrication" Trump's criticism of the $9 million in bailout money that Harvard somehow managed to score.Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Nova Scotia RCMP have confirmed an additional four victims of the weekend killing spree, bringing the total death toll to 22 in what is now one of the deadliest massacres in Canadian history. Officials say it could take months to unravel the lone suspect’s violent path across the province as they continue to probe 16 different crime scenes, including five structure fires where police have found human remains.

“Reopen Wisconsin” organizers announced that Friday’s protest against the state's stay-at-home order will continue without a permit. Organizer Madison Marie posted on Facebook Tuesday that their rally had “officially” been denied a permit to gather to protest Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’s (D) order requiring the state’s residents to stay home during the coronavirus pandemic. “The Permit was filed as a courtesy to not ruffle feathers. The Rally is still happening,” she posted, encouraging people to “Peacefully assemble” on Friday at 1 p.m. More than 3,000 people have responded that they plan to attend, and another 12,000 said they were interested....

For the press, it's quite the "gotcha" dance. The National Institutes of Health's refusal to recommend the use of the common anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine in combination with the antibiotic azithromycin for the treatment of COVID-19, was proof positive according to the "science" that President Trump was wrong about the use of the drug, as well as an incompetent who was touting quack medicine, given that he noted the treatment as promising in one of his tweets. They've finally got something to pin on him. Here's a sampler of some of the headlines out there from NPR, CNN, Forbes, The Hill,...

Michael Moore is worried about Earth, although he's not focused on fossil fuel and cow farts. Instead, he's worried because he just discovered that green energy is a scam. That's the point in his new documentary, Planet of the Humans, which was released Tuesday for free on YouTube. In a long and poorly written introduction on the YouTube page, the people who made the video explain that the green revolution could have worked out if only the whole movement hadn't sold itself out to the rich and powerful, resulting in a sham and a scam. Skip Moore illustrates the bubble...

The kerfuffle over how much authority the president has vis-à-vis state governors boiled over at a recent White House coronavirus briefing. Missing in the debate is the conundrum that became apparent in August 2005, during Hurricane Katrina. During a critical week, from two days before Katrina, to five days after, there arose a conflict the likes of which had never been seen in American disaster governance: an open clash between the president on one side and the Louisiana governor and the mayor of New Orleans on the other. The Depression-Era Heritage. Put simply, the statutes governing emergency authority during disasters...

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- As the oil industry's future remains in question, AIR7 HD spotted dozens of oil tankers docked in the waters off the coast of Long Beach on Tuesday. ABC7 is working to find out more on why and if it has anything to do with what's currently happening with oil prices. Oil prices tanked below zero on Monday as demand for energy was collapsing amid the coronavirus pandemic, and traders don't want to get stuck owning crude with nowhere to store it. Demand for oil has collapsed so much due to the coronavirus pandemic that facilities...

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he pressed President Trump on testing during a “productive” Oval Office meeting on Tuesday afternoon, just days after they had an enormous row on Twitter and national television. Cuomo also told the president during the White House visit that New York no longer needed the USNS Comfort to treat COVID-19 infected patients, offering to deploy it to another hard-hit state.

Members of the National Governors Association (NGA) called for Congress to pass an additional $500 billion relief bill to stabilize states and territories, which they say are in “dire straits” from the pandemic-driven economic fallout. In a letter signed by NGA Chairman Larry Hogan, Republican governor of Maryland, and NGA Vice Chairman Andrew Cuomo, Democrat governor of New York, leaders of the association outlined the damage to local economies from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus, which causes the COVID-19 disease. “As governors, we prioritize the health and welfare of our citizens above all...

Co-founder of the substance abuse recovery program “Teen Challenge,” 80-year-old pastor Don Wilkerson has recovered from COVID-19 thanks to hydroxychloroquine, he says, reporting improvement within a day. Wilkerson thinks he picked up the CCP virus, commonly known as novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19, during a visit to his Teen Challenge Brooklyn chapter in early March. He soon began to feel sick and lost his sense of taste and smell. “I got pneumonia, I could hardly walk, or talk; she (his wife) couldn’t understand me very well,” Wilkerson told CBN News. After testing positive, he was admitted to the hospital, but...

At this writing, the number of deaths from COVID-19 in the U.S. is 42,425. This is just a little higher than the number of deaths in the U.S. each year from auto accidents. It's no mystery how to reduce those 40,000 auto accident deaths to zero. Simply prohibit driving. How many Americans would agree to this? Not many. Most Americans prefer their freedom and the benefits they get from driving, and are prepared to accept the risks associated with driving. If there were a million traffic-related deaths each year, for sure Americans would become less wedded to their cars...

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Touting the same anti-malarial drug President Donald Trump has been pushing, an Orange County doctor said he's seeing two notable trends: patients are responding well to the drug cocktail, and there has been a recent drop in the number of his patients testing positive. Dr. Gregg DeNicola of the Caduceus Medical Group said he started testing for COVID-19 patients a month ago in Laguna Beach, eventually spreading out his practice to Yorba Linda and Orange. He's been treating his patients with a combination of hydroxychloroquine and Z- Pak, a five-day course of the antibiotic azithromycin. "We've...

News stations shill for Palestinian Islamic Jihad member Hatem Fariz and PIJ mosque. Joe Kaufman, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, is Chairman of the Joe Kaufman Security Initiative and the 2014, 2016 and 2018 Republican Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives (Florida-CD23). This month, Tampa, Florida’s local news affiliates headed over to the al-Qassam Mosque, a.k.a. Islamic Community of Tampa (ICT), to get footage of the mosque and its director, Hatem Fariz, distributing food, in what ICT and these networks are claiming is an effort to help the neighborhood during the coronavirus crisis. Happy Anniversary EARTH DAY! Hard to believe it’s been 50 years since the first in 1970.Ever since that watershed event people have been looking for ways to shut down civilization and take us back to pre-industrial times when all the women were strong, all the men were good-looking, and all the children were above average. As long as it doesn’t impact the way they live too much that is.I remember the first Earth Day: I was in college, it was a beautiful spring day and celebrating Earth seemed like a great excuse to skip classes. I don’t remember exactly how...
