Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he pressed President Trump on testing during a “productive” Oval Office meeting on Tuesday afternoon, just days after they had an enormous row on Twitter and national television.
Cuomo also told the president during the White House visit that New York no longer needed the USNS Comfort to treat COVID-19 infected patients, offering to deploy it to another hard-hit state.

And now it seems, that perhaps the ventilators are why they're dying. Too extreme...using oxygen via nose buds might be the answer from what I read.
it looks like Cuomo’s frantic rants about needing 40,000 ventilators, the Comfort and field hospitals were a bit over the top. He knew that, but he, as a loyal dem, thought that he could hammer Trump about 40,000 ventilators to make Trump look bad. I doubt if it was out of real concern for the people of his state since he hadn’t lifted a finger to buy ventilators when he was offered a good deal on them a few years ago.
Why would he need a battleship during a meeting?
In the eastern part of King County Washington where we had the first deaths in the country we peaked before the governor's stay at home order was announced. The temporary hospital the military set up never received any patients. The quarantine center designed for 150 only received 3 people and not all at the same time, so it was shut down also. Overlake Hospital and its extension in Kirkland, the first hospitals to have coronavirus deaths started giving away the massive amount of supplies they received weeks ago.
If it were not for the extreme padding of the numbers we would not have half as many deaths attributed to this.
This makes some sense. If someone is resuscitated then control over how they vote is not assured. If they are dead we all know for certain how they will vote in future elections.
With Cuomo’s record, he’ll be calling for the return of the Comfort by next October, if not sooner.
Send him the bill. What’s the hourly operations cost.

I thought the Comfort was for non covid patients to ease the strain on hospitals treating covid patients.

It shows that the virus isn’t spreading as quickly as estimated
New York could have 1/4 their number if they would have closed down the subway system. This is just by guess, I think the Subway system is why NYC/NJ got hit hard while LA SanFran Chicago etc are no where near NYC numbers
If NYC no longer needs the ship it means they never needed it. Comrade de Blasio just wanted to make Trump look bad, but instead made him look good.
