From my AI discussion:

BUTCHER'S THUMB — May 10th, 2026

This week’s butcher’s thumb shows a familiar pattern: the major broadcast networks lean heavily toward Democratic officeholders, center-left policy voices, and institutional figures who reinforce preferred narratives on energy, humanitarian issues, and public health. Republicans appear mainly as institutional or administrative voices rather than representatives of the party’s current direction. Sunday Morning Futures remains the only program consistently booking guests aligned with the GOP’s present leadership and priorities.

FACE THE NATION (CBS)
CBS is running an “energy policy + Democratic leadership + humanitarian framing” hour. Wright anchors the administration’s energy lane. Kelly and Lieu provide two Democratic voices, giving the hour a clear partisan tilt. Soeripto adds a humanitarian narrative, and Gottlieb provides institutional public-health analysis. Wirth adds corporate perspective, but the overall lineup leans toward Democratic and institutional voices.

What to watch:
Whether Brennan uses Wright’s segment to frame administration energy policy positively, with Kelly and Lieu reinforcing Democratic messaging.

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network)
Fox is running a “national security + diplomacy + human rights + cultural commentary” hour. Reed provides a Democratic Senate voice. Waltz anchors the foreign-policy lane. The Drexels add a human-rights and religious-freedom dimension. Bure brings cultural commentary. The Ruthless hosts add political analysis. The panel is ideologically mixed, with Thiessen providing the strongest right-leaning counterbalance.

What to watch:
How Bream balances Reed’s Democratic perspective with Waltz’s foreign-policy framing.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC)
NBC is running a “administration policy + Democratic leadership + bipartisan governor panel” hour. Wright appears again, giving the administration a second major platform. Booker provides a Democratic Senate voice. The governor panel includes Sanders and Moore, offering bipartisan optics, but the framing is likely to emphasize institutional cooperation rather than partisan contrast. The panel leans center-left, with contributors who typically reinforce Democratic narratives.

What to watch:
Whether Welker uses Sanders as a genuine counterbalance or as a token Republican presence within a largely Democratic-leaning hour.

THIS WEEK (ABC)
ABC is running a “foreign policy + military leadership + public health” hour. Waltz anchors the diplomatic lane. McRaven provides military and national-security framing. Osterholm adds public-health analysis. The roundtable includes one Republican-aligned voice (Dent) against two Democratic or center-left commentators. The hour leans toward institutional and Democratic-friendly perspectives.

What to watch:
Whether ABC uses McRaven to reinforce a particular national-security narrative rather than present a balanced strategic discussion.

STATE OF THE UNION (CNN)
CNN is running a “Democratic leadership + public health + mixed-ideology panel” hour. Clyburn provides a major Democratic voice. Bhattacharya adds a scientific and public-health perspective. The panel includes Republican strategists but leans center-left overall. No Republican officeholder appears, and the hour’s framing is likely to emphasize Democratic legislative and public-health narratives.

What to watch:
How Tapper/Bash uses Clyburn’s segment to set the tone for the hour’s political framing.

SUNDAY MORNING FUTURES (FNC)
Futures is running a “economic leadership + Republican Senate leadership + gubernatorial politics” hour. Hassett anchors the economic-policy lane. McCormick and Moreno provide two Republican Senate voices aligned with the party’s current direction. Hilton adds a gubernatorial campaign perspective. The panel of Devine and Smith brings investigative and geopolitical analysis. This remains the only show consistently booking voices aligned with the GOP’s present priorities.

What to watch:
Whether Bartiromo structures the hour around economic policy or uses the Senate voices to frame national political momentum.

Ecosystem Summary
This week’s lineups emphasize energy policy, humanitarian narratives, public health, and Democratic leadership across most networks. CBS leans heavily Democratic with institutional framing, Fox blends national security and cultural commentary, NBC centers administration and Democratic voices with bipartisan optics, ABC emphasizes foreign policy and public health with a Democratic tilt, CNN highlights Democratic leadership and institutional analysis, and Bartiromo delivers the only hour aligned with the GOP’s current leadership and national priorities.

“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Ephesians 4:15 (King James Version)
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

It appears President Trump is being protected by God rather than the Keystone Kops he has surrounding him. Just like the mismanagement of the forests and every other resource in America the Secret Service is one of the most poorly run agencies in DC. How can you have a worldwide event with the President of the United States and have less security than you would have a Globetrotter game?

The checkpoint was not only undermanned the guards were as poorly trained as could be imagined. How does a computer geek come down the stairwells without them being sealed on every floor let along the main floor the President is on? Then you have three cops leaning on the wall completely relaxed when they obviously should have been stationed at the entrance looking down the hallway he came from. He would have never been able to get to the entry let alone turn the corner.

Once he did turn the corner the three Kops against the wall were facing the other direction and barely got their guns out as he ran past them. They were spectators to an assassination with nobody obviously in charge. Does the Secret Service not think Trump is a target or have they not been paying attention to the violent left and their trail of bodies?

The final obvious misstep is when he runs past the only agent in his way the agent runs away from him rather than throwing a shoulder into him to knock him down. Was this a soy boy rather than a trained officer? Where is Clint Eastwood when you need him who would have thrown a cross-body block to knock his feet out from under him.

In the end God protected President Trump from this evil boy who has been lied to his entire life. The same God who protected him at Butler and his golf course where he was one of the easiest targets any shooter could ask. They were both layups for the shooters and by the grace of God missed their targets just as this one tripped on his own shoelaces or was it the hand of the Lord?

The Creator is revealing himself again and again to the world. From destroying the entire Iran hierarchy in minutes to protecting the pilot and now Trump for a third time it is becoming obvious. There is God’s hand reaching across the District of Corruption and around the world. You can see and feel the hand of God working out his perfect plan through miracles like Correspondents dinner where in spite of their complete incompetence everyone was left safe and sound. Only God.

Pray for President Trump’s Protection

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

I told my AI you liked it!

To: Alas Babylon!; All
Great stuff here. Once again we see the invisible hand of God protecting our President.

It's here:

The final obvious misstep is when he runs past the only agent in his way the agent runs away from him rather than throwing a shoulder into him to knock him down. Was this a soy boy rather than a trained officer? Where is Clint Eastwood when you need him who would have thrown a cross-body block to knock his feet out from under him.

In the end God protected President Trump from this evil boy who has been lied to his entire life. The same God who protected him at Butler and his golf course where he was one of the easiest targets any shooter could ask. They were both layups for the shooters and by the grace of God missed their targets just as this one tripped on his own shoelaces or was it the hand of the Lord?

..................................

It's not enough that Trump has to be aware of crazies trying to kill him 24/7 but he has to try and understand a region of the world, the mid-east, where things change in a heartbeat. The reasons may date back hundreds of years.

In just the recent week he was not allowed to use Saudi air space or our bases in Saudi Arabia. Now we are. Seems a phone call with MBS,Mohammad Ben Solomon--defacto Saudi head, didn't seem to work. They have been long-time friends.

Several days later much of the problems the Saudis had with us were semi-resolved enough that we could once again use the air space and our base. Concluding it's never easy in the mid east.

Also, if you are concerned that the Kurds took weaponry meant for locals who were being gunned down by the irgc its a lot more complex than many of us knew.

Accd. to grok AI the kurds have had long standing problems with Iran for decades if not longer.

The kurds have key groups such as the PDKI Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, founded in 1945, who seek Kurdish rights autonomy within a democratic federal Iran.

Their key leader is Mustafa Kijri. Their Peshmerga forces are 1,000-2,000 fighters.

There are half a dozen semi similar groups like this all fighting the igrc. The kurds have a population of some 8 million in Iran. But they also are found in Iraq and have fought in Syria as well.

Understanding all the ins and outs of the history of the region is a good job for AI. They seem to be one of the few that attempt it.

How Trump can put all this together I have no idea. Long story short you can forget paper agreements with any of these irgc clowns. All they know is who has the biggest gun or strongest drone army in the region.

If the CIA can't solve these regional disputes it needs to be closed down and reinvented. We have the resources the weaponry and spy capability to bring a relative peace to the region. It's likely not going to happen with bombs and trying to bankrupt people who are already poor in mind, body, and bank account. However,If anyone can achieve a temporary peace settlement in the region it will be DJT. Let's hope it happens.

in some of the forces of the kurds many women have eagerly participated

LOL thanks very much. However,I get fooled on a regular basis. Latest was when we were not allowed air space over Saudi Arabia, fortunately that was resolved.

I do enjoy this AI breakdown of the Sunday shows, maybe try it on the Democrats in office and see if it can figure them out. This week was sure confusing for them, their Identity Politics model is collapsing, the lying only works on their crowd. And to watch them all switch to projection again this week, almost as if it were coordinated(?) was laughable. My highlight was watching them claim the hateful rhetoric was all coming from the right, you can’t give any examples to the contrary. With hundreds of video clips showing them spewing???? I suspect the AI response might be “That does NOT compute”....
