From my AI discussion:

BUTCHER'S THUMB — May 24th, 2026

This week’s butcher’s thumb shows the networks leaning heavily on Democratic voices, Republican intra‑party critics, and one‑directional January 6 framing — with NBC using Massie to hit Trump, CNN using Tillis as a controlled GOP dissenter, and ABC presenting two officers with no legal counter‑voice, while only Bartiromo books guests aligned with the GOP’s actual leadership. The networks look into economic policy, public health, and institutional authority — with the familiar pattern as above: Democrats and center-left institutional voices dominate the broadcast networks, while Republicans appear mainly as dissenters, critics of their own party, or institutional figures rather than representatives of the GOP’s current direction. Sunday Morning Futures again stands out as the only show booking voices aligned with the party’s present leadership and priorities.

FACE THE NATION (CBS)
CBS is running an “economic policy + Democratic leadership + public health + military valor” hour. Hassett anchors the economic lane. Van Hollen provides a Democratic Senate voice. Birx brings institutional public-health framing. The Lawler–Gottheimer panel offers a centrist optic rather than ideological contrast. The Medal of Honor segment reinforces CBS’s institutional tone and non-political framing.

What to watch:
Whether Brennan uses Hassett and Van Hollen to frame economic policy through a bipartisan-but-establishment lens.

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network)
Fox is running a “Democratic Senate voice + Republican leadership + religious liberty + scientific debate” hour. Van Hollen appears again, giving Democrats a second major platform. Donalds provides a strong GOP leadership voice. Räsänen and Waggoner anchor religious-liberty and free-speech themes. Meyer adds a scientific-philosophy dimension. The panel is ideologically mixed, with Priebus and Wegmann providing center-right analysis.

What to watch:
How Bream balances Van Hollen’s Democratic messaging with Donalds’ GOP leadership perspective.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC)
NBC is running a “Republican dissenter + Democratic leadership + institutional activism” hour. Massie provides the Republican label, but he functions primarily as an intra-party critic — a role that allows NBC to use him to challenge Trump and the GOP’s current direction indirectly, often through secondary issues such as foreign policy or donor influence. Khanna adds a Democratic House voice. Saujani brings a progressive activism and tech-education narrative. The panel leans center-left, with contributors who typically reinforce Democratic and institutional messaging.

What to watch:
Whether Welker uses Massie to create the appearance of balance while the hour’s framing remains aligned with Democratic and institutional narratives.

THIS WEEK (ABC)
ABC is running a “moderate Republican + Democratic leadership + January 6 emotional framing” hour. Fitzpatrick provides a centrist Republican voice. Suozzi adds a Democratic House perspective. Dunn and Hodges create a unidirectional January 6 narrative with no legal or constitutional counter-voice — notably excluding the attorneys who argued and won key January 6 cases before the Supreme Court. The roundtable includes Isgur and Ponnuru as center-right institutional conservatives, but the panel leans center-left overall, with Brazile and Milbank shaping the dominant framing.

What to watch:
Whether ABC uses Fitzpatrick’s moderation and the officer testimonies to reinforce a one-directional January 6 narrative while avoiding legal developments.

STATE OF THE UNION (CNN)
CNN is running a “Republican intra-party critic + Democratic leadership + environmental policy” hour. Tillis provides the Republican label but functions primarily as an intra-party critic, often reinforcing the host’s framing rather than representing the GOP’s current leadership or base. Booker adds a Democratic Senate perspective. Zeldin anchors environmental-policy discussion. The panel includes Jennings and Soltis Anderson as center-right analysts, but the overall framing leans center-left.

What to watch:
How Tapper/Bash uses Booker and Zeldin to set the hour’s policy framing, with Tillis providing controlled intra-party criticism rather than a representative GOP voice.

SUNDAY MORNING FUTURES (FNC)
Futures is running an “economic leadership + Republican leadership + foreign-affairs activism” hour. Hassett appears again, giving economic policy a central role. Johnson, Crawford, and Hinson provide three Republican voices aligned with the party’s current direction. Khansarinia adds a foreign-policy and human-rights dimension focused on Iran. This remains the only program consistently booking voices aligned with the GOP’s present leadership and national priorities.

What to watch:
Whether Bartiromo centers the hour on economic indicators or uses the House voices to frame national political momentum.

Ecosystem Summary
This week’s lineups emphasize economic policy, public health, institutional authority, and Democratic leadership across most networks. CBS leans establishment and center-left, Fox blends political leadership with religious-liberty and scientific debate, NBC centers Democratic and institutional voices with a Republican dissenter, ABC presents a one-directional January 6 narrative with no legal counter-voice, CNN features a Republican intra-party critic rather than a representative GOP voice, and Bartiromo delivers the only hour aligned with the GOP’s current priorities and economic messaging.

“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Romans 15:5-6 (King James Version)
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thomas Massie-cur who made a career of stabbing President Trump and MAGA in the back caught a 12 gage to the stomach. So many politicians do not understand the day of the white gloved politician is over and has been replaced with the foul-mouthed blood stained assassins. You can either fight in the mud and win or lose graciously, there are no other options in the days of Social Mediots.

You do not get a high brow lecture from President Trump out of the Douglas Lincoln debates but more of a pig pile with one guy biting on the other guys ankle while he is biting your arm. In some ways the early forefathers had it right with a duel from ten paces. In today’s weaponry the winner would be declared much faster.

The more Tom Massies and China Mitches are replaced with populists who are closer to the people the better it is for America. The country no longer has time for people who would rather debate issues endlessly over one minor issue after another when rather than solving those issues. You may hate the way Trump does things but you cannot argue with his results.

So far he has closed the border tighter than Tupperware and trying to deport as many as he can against a never-ending battle with Dumpocrats. He got through the most focused on the working-class tax cuts in histoir and has changed the direction of America’s energy policy again to open the Gulf, Federal lands, Alaska, as well as bring coal back into the mix which is the cheapest energy by far. Coal cost .04/KW, Gas .08/KW, and Solar .40/KW while the ones which produce the most CO2 create the greenest plant growth.

While the Dims spend their time dividing groups around their separate selective outrages, the MAGA movement is unified behind one thing, their love of America. America is not a country as much as it is an ideal. It is not enforced by jackboot police or walls and fences, it is enforced by personal beliefs and responsibilities. It is a people who unite around a thought that all people are created equal and endowed by their creator.

It is a diverse group of people who love the thought everyone can pursue their God given talents and abilities to make whatever they want good or bad, they are the ones who decide. It is Americans loving an idea developed 250 years ago by a group of men who believed in freedom while under the most powerful King on the planet. An idea only dreamed about for centuries and thanks to some very selfless men made a system where every man could vote who was his leader. A completely radical idea.

This is what unites Make America Great Again. It is all pointing the same direction which was laid out clearly by some men who understood man craves for freedom. It is the most unifying thought in the world since it really is uniting around the Creator who gave man a spirit of self-determination, it is who man is and what Trump embodies.

Letting you keep more of your money is self-determination and freedom. Whether it be lower taxes, less cost of gas and electricity, or the unhindered flow of goods without an overregulating gummit. This is pure unity and why patriots love this country and voted that way against the neigh sayers.

You will hear the talking heads saying MAGA is a cult since they have to minimize and dehumanize America lovers, but it is the idea of freedom which is what unifies MAGA. This is something the Dums do not understand since they have divided themselves into smaller and smaller groups to the point of hating each other. They have no common theme other than hate and anger which tends to lash out at each other and is.

This primary was a wakeup call to the power of MAGA at its lowest point and still had the power to topple some political giants. This is not a cult but a love of everything which makes America the Shining City on the Hill and the Lady in the Bay pointing her torch to God.

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

And, of course, you have to add in the lunatic-fringer who got himself shot outside the White House. At least these guys are hitting hardened targets and getting their death-wish satisfied with minimal harm to normal people.

But at some point, they need to be identified and removed from society before they cause any harm. Who is going to lead the charge for getting mental hospitals open again and preventing this stuff from actually happening? (Before one of them gets through security and causes real harm.)

The differences between the two parties are growing by leaps and bounds.

One party loves America, has much of the country behind it although it doesn't take much to upset a spoiled nation. High gas prices, interest rates, and an unpopular war are more than enough to give the hard left ammo for the one sided driveby media to feast on.

On the other hand the demo-commies have imploded and are now headed ttowards full blown communism. They will get about 10% approval with this move. However, it doesn't slow them down since they have never won elections based on their campaign promsies/platforms of more and more socialism. People simply don't want it.

The only way the left ever wins is by cheating, stealing, buying votes, importing millions of illegals they can buy with our money or other illegal means. The dems have become the criminal party and will only get worse for as long as they last.

It may take decades to recover from all the damage the dems have done in the past 10-15 years starting with Commondante Zero. Millions of illegals from all over the world just now starting to wreak havoc on the country along with crazed dems who embrace communism and live on lies.

THere are some huge hurdles to jump over.

And once again Bray knocks it out of the park, thanks for sharing it as always AB. I particularly found the pointing out of the lefts only effective(by their twisted logic anyway)tool...projection.

You will hear the talking heads saying MAGA is a cult since they have to minimize and dehumanize America lovers, but it is the idea of freedom which is what unifies MAGA. This is something the Dums do not understand since they have divided themselves into smaller and smaller groups to the point of hating each other. Coming from a group who relies totally on a base of actual brainwashed zombie cultists is....insane yet devious.

Word of the Iran Peace Deal So Far

Independent Sentinel ^

| May 23, 2026 | M Dowling

Posted on 5/24/2026, 12:20:44 AM by Red Badger

President Trump held a powerhouse call with key Middle Eastern leaders on Iran — and it's a game-changer, according to Fox News. Tonight, Trump is briefing Netanyahu on the details.

It is peace through strength.

President Trump confirmed that a peace deal with Iran has been “largely negotiated,” and he expects it to be announced shortly.

Reports of the Iran Deal via Eli David: * Strait of Hormuz will fully reopen

* Iran will not charge transit fees

* US won't pay any money to Iran

* Sanction relief on Iranian oil

* Lebanon is part of the ceasefire

* 60 days to negotiate nuclear issues

Some of the right people are upset, which gives me hope.

Lindsey Graham is upset.

Mark Levin is enraged at reports that Netanyahu has been “sidelined” in the deal with Iran. The NYT has reported that Netanyahu is fuming, with Trump claiming Netanyahu would do “anything” Trump told him to.

Levin specifically sees it as a direct slight against Israel, which US defense officials claimed would've been screwed without US support, as the US seeks peace on its own terms. Envoy Witkoff, in an unusual break, is reported to be pushing Trump for peace immediately.

The New York Times reports that Netanyahu is enraged, but he needn't be. The U.S. did a lot for Israel, and we will be there if needed again.

..................................................

I would like to know what happens when the regime now in charge of Iran breaks the agreement.? They never obey any agreement they have ever signed. What are the consequences? Also, who gets the oil revenue and what is there to keep the irgc or whomever to start funneling money to terror surrogates of Iran all over the world.?

Political correctness won’t allow any bat-shit crazy loon to be stigmatized as “mentally ill”, so claim the progs.

One upside to PC, however—from our perspective—is its affect on minority leaders like Kamala or Hakeem Jeffries. Political correctness saves their jobs and careers, and that’s hugely beneficial for us....although Jeffries is so weak, I’m not sure how long he’ll keep driving their bus.

Wondering on this Memorial Day, how long the holiday remains meaningful.

Many don’t understand it-—Obama didn’t we recall—and even the bulk of boomers came after WW Eleven. We boomed because of it and its ending.

In another decade, almost no one will have an attachment to the good wars and worse, try and forget the bad wars and those that died serving in them.

Well, not only will they break whatever agreement is reached, they’ll declare victory, too.

No matter what they agree to on paper, they will say they withstood the Great Satan.

Probably the best and worst thing we did in this war was the killing of their leadership in one and a subsequent few more strikes on the first day.

This allowed a poisonous sub class to come out of the woodwork—harder to find—and defy us. I do think their weaponry has been severely degraded as well as their economy but the new batch of thugs will never admit it.

And frankly, the USA doesn’t have the will to fight more than a few weeks. Gas prices uber alles.

Strange as it sounds, but when Trump endorsed Paxton over Cronyn, Thune allowed a few Republicans to join with the democrats and vote to apply the War Powers Act.

Petty politics over national security.

As much damage as the Dems have been and continues to unleash on us, it is those who embellish and amplify their message who deserve the scorn. You look at last nights shooting near the WH,the legacies immediately went into the it wasn’t an assassination attempt. You could almost feel their relief once the shooters pedigree was known(and again its someone known with a history of mental illness yet with a gun?).

Contrast it with the “mass shooting” of the Muslims in San Diego. You could hear the glee in their voices when they could say white supremacist nationalist Nazis and their panels could joyfully say...see its always the whites who are doing the mass shootings(even though one was of Hispanic heritage, he was awarded “mostly Caucasian” status.) Yet once we dig further it’s again mentally ill teenagers who were “radicalized online”( or far more likely in the classroom) who may have been transitioning and/or involved, dont know because once that entered the discussion....poof...on to the next story.
