(Whatever you can say about Tulsi Gabbard, shenat least had military experience and Congressional committee tenure over intelligence matters. Pulte makes zero sense as a pick.)
They are a big builder here in the DFW, or at least they were.
No experience in Intel or its bureaucracy?

I don’t think that is a everyday job. They probably meet once a week or even a month............
I don’t see any indication the deputy DNI is being replaced. (Name escapes me and I’m too lazy to look it up!) He has Intel experience. He’ll concentrate on managing that. Pulte hopefully is there to run audits
Pulte runs a tight business. He leaves no stone unturned. An actual businessman may be the perfect person.
Agreed - I think it is just one of Trump's picks that is based upon whom he gets along with the best.
The problem with appointing someone with no experience in the field is that they are going to be forced to rely upon underlings for all their substantive knowledge, which essentially turns them into an administrator rather than a leader.
Exactly my thought, what does he know about the intel world?
Trump is going to pick someone who has shown a willingness to go after enemies over someone with an impressive resume any day. 99% of what he needs to know about intelligence he can learn on the job.
He should bring back general Michael Flynn who so terrified Obama that he and corrupt FIB screwed that guy over to be his DNI. This pulte guy seems to have zero experience to be DNI.
Loyal, but spectacularly unqualified.
It would be like appointing Lara Trump to head the Livermore National Lab.
Is there not a single intelligence officer or GOP congressman on the House Intelligence Committee available?
