"And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me." "So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: "Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer." Luke, Chapter 7 1 Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum. 2 And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and...

And good luck trying to liquidate your fun, expendable assets, like boats, motorcycles, and RVs, because most people can’t afford to buy them. US Treasury debt now 150% of GDP. Which means government can not pay off any part of principle. Annual budget deficits are running multiple Trillion dollars now. US Treasury is currently paying out Billion dollars every day of the year in interest payments. That will soon double or triple due to federal funds interest rate jumping from less...

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Police arrested a Bed-Stuy man they say used a crutch to beat a 12-boy in an unprovoked and bizarre attack near Prospect Park last week, according to the NYPD. Jamal McIlwain, 28, was arrested on charges of assault, menacing and injuring a minor on Wednesday, authorities said. McIlwain stands accused of attacking the 12-year-old boy at the corner of Saint Paul's Place and Saint Paul's Court in Prospect Park South just after 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 17, police said. The Bed-Stuy man had previously arrested for attempted murder, part of a lengthy rap sheet with 23...

Roughly one century ago, “progressives” set out to take over American education. They wanted to extirpate the individualism that had always been the hallmark of the people’s character, so that they would be receptive to the collectivism and central control that progressivism calls for. The best way to make that happen would be to instill their precepts in young minds. The progressives (I will not call them “liberals” even though that’s common parlance today; the progressive project is the exact opposite of true liberalism) have been extraordinarily successful in their goal of dominating our educational institutions. For many decades, they...

Two more conservative-leaning counties in eastern Oregon, and one politically split county in California, have voted to begin the process that could lead to secession from their respective blue states. On Nov. 8, Oregon’s Morrow County passed the Greater Idaho proposal with 60 percent of the vote and Wheeler County with 59 percent. A similar measure in San Bernardino County, Calif., passed by a narrow margin, 51.3 percent to 48.7. “These are solutions they want their elected leaders to look into,” said Matt McCaw, spokesman for the Greater Idaho Movement based in Oregon. “We think it makes sense to move...

President Joe Biden’s one-time federal student loan debt relief program, which would forgive up to $20,000 in loans for federal borrowers, remains on hold after a federal district judge in Texas declared the program unconstitutional earlier this month. The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis issued a nationwide injunction barring the program days later. The whiplash leaves more than 26 million people who applied for relief —16 million of whom were already approved — caught in limbo about the future of their federal student loans. Those who were approved received notice from the Department of Education that their...

black supremacists have become emboldened in recent weeks after both Irving, who has previously said he believes the earth is flat and pushed unfounded conspiracy theories around Covid-19 A key part of Black Hebrew Israelite dogma is that those of African descent are the real descendants of the biblical Hebrews. That is why they shun the term 'Jews' or 'Jewish' even though they are frequently seen walking around with Jewish insignia on their clothing, including the six-sided Star of David. Hebrew Israelites have even shown hostility toward Jews and other whites who are referred to 'devilish imposters' and adherents of...

Disney’s “Strange World,” an animated adventure about a family of legendary explorers, is having trouble discovering a great deal of treasure. The well-reviewed film grossed a disappointing $800,000 in Tuesday previews, which likely means that initial estimates that “Strange World” would pull in between $30 million to $40 million over the five-day Thanksgiving holiday may prove to be overly optimistic. That all comes with important caveats. Animated fare doesn’t usually do explosive business in previews, with families usually seeking out earlier showings. That said, “Strange World’s” Tuesday preview number is less than the $1.5 million that Disney’s “Encanto” generated in...

During a Twitter DM interview by Kelsey Piper of Vox with FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried last week, something remarkable happened.Bankman-Fried ditched his annoyingly sanctimonious "monk-like" mask and revealed his true self: a greedy cynic who is laughing at the world, including the gullible media, for believing his phony "effective altruism" shtick as you can see in the section of the interview below.

Massive 'national crusade' mobilisation could happen as soon as New Year 'He will most certainly leave before 2024' if not the New Year Rumours suggest Sergei Kiriyenko, 60, his authoritarian deputy chief of staff and an ex-PM, could replace Putin, while others focus on Dmitry Patrushev, agriculture minister, and son of the president's hardline chief security apparatchik Nikolay Patrushev, who would be power behind the new ruler. Speculation is swirling in Russia that Vladimir Putin will soon demand a massive new mobilisation drive in a desperate effort to halt calamitous defeats to Ukraine. It's also been predicted that such a...

Congress can end the war in Ukraine and win a Nobel Peace Prize by enacting a statute withdrawing the United States from NATO — transforming it from a mighty offensive oak into a tiny acorn unalarming to Russia. As early as 1798, Congress nullified a defense treaty with France by statute. A congressional end to United States participation in NATO would be no constitutional novelty. At the very latest, NATO became obsolete in 1991 when its raison d’etre — the Soviet Empire — dissolved. By remaining in NATO and spearheading its expansion to Russia’s borders with 30 members, the United...

CNN — The results of this month’s election point toward a 2024 presidential contest that will likely be decided by a tiny sliver of voters in a rapidly shrinking list of swing states realistically within reach for either party. With only a few exceptions, this year’s results showed each side further consolidating its hold over the states that already lean in its direction. And in 2024 that will likely leave control of the White House in the hands of a very small number of states that are themselves divided almost exactly in half between the parties – a list that...
