Pocock, an historian at Washington University in St. Louis Missouri, coined the term “Machiavellian Moment” to identify the commencement of clear thinking in which civil society realizes that unless it takes corrective action, the corruption into which the nation has fallen...

The 47-year-old news anchor — who muscled her way into the evening slot in 2019 as she fled a reportedly strained relationship with co-host Gayle King on “CBS This Morning” — now stands vulnerable to the network’s bean counters as her ratings have stayed stubbornly stuck in third place, according to sources close to the situation. Insiders likewise pointed to O’Donnell’s hefty pay package that is in the ballpark of $8 million a year and a three-year contract that’s slated to expire next spring.

Bishop Anthony Daniels, Bishop of Grand Falls in the long-suffering Church in Newfoundland has barred anyone from attending the Mass or sacraments unless they are "fully vaccinated." Daniels, former Auxiliary of the Diocese of London is another gift that keeps on giving from Pope Benedict XVI, clearly duped or oblivious to the faithless hirelings he was appointing. On September 18, we wrote of the situation in Moncton where the bishop attempted the same...

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona is said to be opposed to the current prescription drug pricing proposals in bills put forth by both the House and Senate, as well as an alternative from House centrists that would limit the drugs subject to Medicare negotiation, according to unnamed sources cited by Politico. Sinema's stance has stalled the passage of the $3.5 trillion spending bill crafted by the Biden administration and fellow Democrats, even though it could jeopardize her own bipartisan infrastructure bill. Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington has previously said the majority of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which she chairs,...

Explanation: Halloween's origin is ancient and astronomical. Since the fifth century BC, Halloween has been celebrated as a cross-quarter day, a day halfway between an equinox (equal day / equal night) and a solstice (minimum day / maximum night in the northern hemisphere). With a modern calendar however, even though Halloween occurs next week, the real cross-quarter day will occur the week after. Another cross-quarter day is Groundhog Day. Halloween's modern celebration retains historic roots in dressing to scare away the spirits of the dead. Perhaps a fitting tribute to this ancient holiday is this view of the Ghost Head...

Another friend of mine who was fine before she got jabbed got Myocarditis and almost died and is still really suffering and she only got the vax because her employer required it.” “If people want to get this experimental vaccine that we now know only lasts a few months and doesn’t keep you from catching or spreading Covid, go get it but no one should be forced to do it,” Dodd continued. “If...

National Institute of Health Director Dr. Francis Collins responded to accusations that the institute had funded a project that had tortured dogs in a scientific experiment. Dr. Collins stated that if this was in fact true his hands were clean because the funding would have been approved by Dr. Anthony Mengele-Fauci, the Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Not wanting to delve into that pit of lack of ethics and morality, Dr. Collins announced the change to future funding for scientific experiments of that type. In the future "throw aways" (fetuses born alive after abortion - AKA...

As of late, I’ve been wrestling with and pondering on, a number of topics pertaining to issues surrounding where we are in the last days. These are in no particular order. First Thought: There is an idea that one can be both a sincere believer in Jesus Christ, as well as sincerely not interested in the Lord’s return. Now, most of these believers wouldn’t come out and say they aren’t interested in the Lord’s return, but they absolutely live that statement. To me, at least, this seems like two diametrically opposed belief systems that a) one could swear fealty and...

Damaging winds, hail, isolated tornados, and floods are threating to impact more than 50 million people from California to New York over the weekend and early into next week.
