The 47-year-old news anchor — who muscled her way into the evening slot in 2019 as she fled a reportedly strained relationship with co-host Gayle King on “CBS This Morning” — now stands vulnerable to the network’s bean counters as her ratings have stayed stubbornly stuck in third place, according to sources close to the situation.
Insiders likewise pointed to O’Donnell’s hefty pay package that is in the ballpark of $8 million a year and a three-year contract that’s slated to expire next spring.

MILF porn awaits.
Propaganda pays well.
Never heard of her, until I read her name here.
Cancel your fake news completely - it’s duplicitous with every other libtard network and will never be missed 🤪
She was so liberal on MSNBC, she never should have been made host of the Evening News.
I am trying to muster up sympathy for a woman who is being paid $8 million dollars a year...
Nope, just can’t do it.
Who watches evening news anymore?
So what if she does? My heart bleeds....
LOL! I just want to see the porn she did for 8 mil! That must be some good sh—!
Does she have big tweets in her past?
“Who watches evening news anymore?”
Their propaganda is effective unfortunately.
In reality she degraded herself much more than that!
People are losing their jobs over vaccine mandate and she’s losing her because she makes too much money. She’s not going to miss any meals.
Norah picked the wrong time to be white. Even being really woke and telling a lot of lies isn’t enough.
Connie Chung....Diane Sawyer...Katie Couric....Nora O’donnell....they can try all they want, bit its the sound of a woman’s voice discussing serious news issues, people just dont like it. There, i said it.....
CBS has been dead last in the evening news ratings for over 30 years, dating back to the Dan Rather era. Gotta wonder how much longer the local affiliates are going to put up with such a lousy lead-in for their local news or prime time access programming. Guaranteed that complaints from local stations are driving this move. Would not be surprised if CBS has been told by large market stations (not owned by the network) are threatening to drop the show if an anchor change is not made.
Meanwhile, the anchor they dropped in favor of O’Donnell (Jeff Glor) has led CBS This Morning Saturday to first place in the ratings. And he makes a lot less than Ms O’Donnell.
Yep…..and there are big name contracts coming up for renewal. It really doesn’t matter to me anymore. Social Media, YouTube, etc have changed “news broadcasting” forever. Rush changed radio as it relates to news and how it’s served up. No matter who they put after his bumper music, it won’t work. And while I’m at it, Sean Hannity can’t hang it up soon enough for me. Locals have learned how it’s done from Rush and some are doing a great job.
Politicians and Hollywood have enjoyed an ongoing field day for half a century….and we don’t listen anymore.
She was just a pretty lightweight. Nothing more, nothing less!
