US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday the crash involving a US Apache helicopter was not a “major incident” and that the pilot was safe, while affirming that sanctions and restrictions targeting Iranian ports would remain in place for as long as necessary.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi denied Iranian involvement in the incident over the Strait of Hormuz, stating that “Iran was not behind the attack” and that there had been no deliberate action targeting the aircraft.

That might not be the case if Netanyahu wasn't a proven, serial lying sack-o-$**t, and it didn't happen on the anniversary of Isreal killing 34 Americans on the USS Liberty.
Iran has stood behind, even bragged about all previous shoot-downs. Not sure why it's in their interest to provoke escalation, which is certainly in Netanyahu's interest... for any number of reasons.
Two things are glaringly obvious - unless you're asleep. Trump doesn't want escalation and is looking for a way out. Netan-yay-hoo does want escalation and wants America stuck in another s**thole war.
