From time to time I will Look through my old quiet time journals. It helps me see how my walk has been. Sometimes I was down and discouraged, sometimes I was bold and grateful. My journal is a picture to the footprints in the sands of my past. This is an entry from December 12, 2008. I called it,"The Voice Of The Lord" If we were to truly hear the Lord's voice, it would be very powerful yet very calming at the same time. Those who walk in opposition to Him will tremble in fear at the powerful sound...

So how can the administration convince the vaccine hesitant? Dr. Leana Wen, a CNN medical analyst and former head of Planned Parenthood, is suggesting making the lives of the unvaccinated more difficult in an effort to force compliance. “What we really need to do at this point is to make vaccination the easy choice. It needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated,” she said on CNN. “Right now, it’s kind of the opposite. It’s fine, it’s easy if you’re unvaccinated. You can do everything you wanted to do anyway. But at some point, these mandates by workplaces, by...

Well, we once again have new data that shreds the anti-gun Left and their narrative about firearm-related violence during the COVID pandemic. Some nine million Americans became new gun owners. That’s huge. Gun sales are through the roof. Once again, Joe Biden and the Democrats show they’re expert gun salespersons. With the Biden administration aiming to tweak the ATF regulation of pistol stabilizing braces, you can bet the rush to stock up has only intensified. This rule would put 10-40 million Americans in legal jeopardy. There is no grandfather clause. All firearms targeted with this new regulation must either be...

Two of the state’s largest health systems — and employers — are requiring all staff to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Saint Alphonsus and St. Luke’s health systems both announced Thursday that all of their Idaho employees will need to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The move also applies to contractors they work with. St. Al’s locations in Oregon are exempt because of that state’s law banning mandatory vaccines for healthcare workers. Both health systems, which include hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities, will waive the requirement for health or religious reasons. Employees must apply for, and receive, an exemption. The two...

Hundreds of people are sharing a Facebook post written by Lisbon Appeal Court judge Florbela Sebastião e Silva in reaction to the decisions now emanating from the government. Judge Florbela’s words show that the anger growing in Portugal is not exclusive to the working classes (meaning here the people trying to work, not low-income citizens): it is spreading through every corner of society. This is her message, coming as citizens everywhere start to query the sense in doing as they are being ordered: “ I am aware that most people do not have authoritative legal knowledge and, if they have...

At times there is no imagining just how stupid people on the left can be but they keep trying to push the envelope. To wit- the mind numbingly idiotic assertion that Jan 6 was worse than 9-11. Huffington Post reporter S.V. Dáte said Jan 6 was "1000 percent" worse than 9-11. 1000 percent worse. https://t.co/0jS4r1S2uk — S.V. Dáte (@svdate) May 25, 2021Matthew Dowd, the so-called "GOP strategist" who will say anything for face time on MSNBC said 9-11 pales in comparison to Jan 6. "To me, though there was less loss of life on Jan. 6 – Jan. 6 was...

A Baltimore police officer allegedly hid the body of his teenage stepson in a wall of his home's loft before trying to grab gun away from cop during his arrest. Brian Orelli: There's a bit of an extrapolation going on here. The researchers looked at memory B cells, which tend to provide more long-term protection than, let's say, antibodies. They looked at those in the lymph nodes and found the cells were there as long as 15 weeks. Typically, they'd mostly be gone by four to six weeks. So that's the basis of this claim that it could offer protection for years. If true, that will be a big blow obviously to vaccine makers, at least for Moderna and BioNTech. Pfizer would be fine because it's so diversified. It's really...

Days after The Washington Post, in an editorial about President Joe Biden's Afghanistan policy, editorialized that "tragedy appears to be unfolding more quickly than even many of the pessimists imagined," Taliban troops cemented their hold on the deteriorating nation. The Taliban on Thursday seized an Afghan border crossing with Iran, according to The Associated Press, which cited reports it received from an Afghan official and Iranian media. The seizure was the fifth border crossing to fall under Taliban control in the past week, Reuters reported. Borders with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, China and Pakistan are now controlled by the Taliban. According to...

As the ruling class went to absurd lengths to try and dismantle Donald Trump, pissed off supporters watched in horror as a captured media peddled lie after lie – typically based on anonymous leaks from deep state bureaucrats, and as powerful agents within America’s intelligence apparatus falsified evidence and collaborated with foreign operatives paid by Trump’s political opponents. In doing so, they exposed themselves to anyone not already paying attention. Darryl Cooper, aka @MartyrMade, has assembled what might be the most accurate summation of why Trump supporters – the vast majority of conservatives – are livid after the past five...

Although Chinese laws forbid kids to play video games at night, minors have been using different tricks to bypass these restrictions. However, they probably won’t be able to do it anymore with the deployment of Tencent’s new facial recognition system. The initiative, which was previously dubbed “Midnight Patrol,” uses AI and big data to detect kids who try to bypass the restrictions. “We will conduct a face screening for accounts registered with real names and that have played for a certain...

A Portland man is being hailed as a hero for disarming and restraining an active shooter who fired 29 gunshots at an apartment complex in Oregon. Luke Stolarzyk launched into a heated argument with his neighbor over a dog barking around 1:15 a.m. June 29, according to the Oregonian. Stolarzyk reportedly was belligerent toward Kenneth Nelson, a fellow resident of the Stephens Creek Crossing apartments. Stolarzyk allegedly abruptly left the confrontation but only to return with an AR-15. Stolarzyk, who was "visibly intoxicated," then fired nearly 30 rounds indiscriminately into the apartment building in southwest Portland, court documents say. Bullets...

Michigan's top government oversight official is investigating the number of residents who died from COVID-19 in nursing homes as a result of a controversial public health policy mandated by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D.). Michigan auditor general Doug Ringler announced the audit last week following legislative hearings that questioned the accuracy of state data on COVID-related deaths in long-term care facilities. Republicans have argued Whitmer's administration undercounted deaths after the governor allowed COVID-infected seniors to return to nursing homes for treatment. The state health director has disputed those claims, saying the data are "self-reported" by facilities. Whitmer, who was reportedly considered...
