A Baltimore police officer allegedly hid the body of his teenage stepson in a wall of his home's loft before trying to grab gun away from cop during his arrest.
Eric G Banks Jr, an officer with the Baltimore Police Department who had already been suspended from the force, is facing a number of charges including assault and resisting arrest for the encounter with Anne Arundel County police.
Officers received a complainant from the mother of Dasan Jones, 15, regarding a child custody dispute with the boy's stepfather, Banks, at 4.56pm on Tuesday, the department said in a press release.

The mother had tried to get protective orders against him for her and their 3 kids. A judge denied the orders on June 28.
I think the mother should be allowed to take revenge on the "judge" and the judge's family.
Hid the body in the wall? Sounds like an Edgar Allan Poe story.
He tried to tell the police it was his gun safe.
FYI, another of obamy’s sons.
According to the Sun, Banks’s wife petitioned Anne Arundel District Court Judge Ronald Karasic for a protective order against him on June 25. She complained of stalking and “emotional and mental abuse” and asked the court to order him to stay away from her, Jones, and the two sons they had together. She also requested custody of the boys.
But on June 28, Karasic denied the petition.
“judge” Ronald Karasic is an accessory after the fact in the murder of Dasan Jones.
Funny how the killer/cop’s picture isn’t plastered all over ...
In the world of domestic violence the impossible people is the cop. The judicial system covers for them and fellow cops help them. They know where all the safe houses are.
The only way out is the witness protection program
Several pictures in the article of the murdered 15 year old but none of the (alleged) perp? Very odd but this seems to part of the new gaslight media style book, like capitalizing Black when referring to people but not any other color.
I’d like to know why the officer had already been suspended from the force. Did the judge know this when he denied the protective order petition??
Dasan was a magnet student at Glen Burnie High School and an accomplished violin player. He was described as a quiet and kind boy.
To my way of thinking this makes the judge a accessory before the fact. No one is above the law except judges and prosecutors. The ancient blood law was better than this.
A Baltimore police “equity” hire.
That was my first thought as well! Very creepy.
