SICK OF PEOPLE IMPOSING THEIR RELIGOUS BELIEFS ON OTHERS

After reading all of the crap that people have been saying regarding Adult Private Social Clubs, I felt that I had to post an article and give my opinion. I am sick and tired of all the religous groups that are saying that there are drugs, prostitution, minors, non-consenting people, and just immoral people at these clubs! First of all, who do these people think they are to decide what is morally right or wrong for me? I believe that I have a good set of morals. I am a law abiding, tax paying citizen, I work full time and provide for my child; whom I teach to be courteous, respect his elders, be a hard worker, have respect for all of humankind as well as the earth, and not to 'cram' his opinions and beliefs down other people's throats. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing christianity, it's just that I'm so sick and tired of others trying to decide what is 'morally acceptable' for me. These people need to have their facts straight before running off at the mouth! And yes, I do belong to a several 'Swing Clubs', so I DO KNOW what I'm talking about. First of all, NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 IS ADMITTED (clubs do check id)!, no drugs are tolerated........no exceptions!, there is no prostitution!, safe sex is highly encouraged, NO MEANS NO...ie...club owners and managers DO NOT tolerate anyone getting out of line what so ever!, and many club members are good and decent people with the best of morals. In short, no one is making these religous people go to the clubs, so, they need to quit trying to close the Adult Private Social Clubs. What goes on inside of these clubs is perfectly legal. We're not imposing our way of life on ANYONE, so others need to quit imposing their way of life on all of us!

All right, well, here's my two cents.

Don't care who this woman screws, and if she and her hubby want to go play "teenager" with others, fine by me.

I personally think it is the height of idiocy, considering all the diseases one could get. That, and the big fat whore factor.

I see no difference between these clubs (which I have never heard of BTW, so I guess I am not guilty of trying to shut them down), and any other club where people go to get drunk and partake of the company of the opposite sex.

No, he's just your run of the mill paint horse. Post your horse pics in the FR Saddle Club if you want. And thanks for the compliment.

Why would you ask anyone to EXPLAIN what is wrong with breaking vows? How silly?

Anything you use to defend breaking vows is pure posturing. If you want to SWING- fine- DON'T MARRY! No one FORCES you to make vows and MARRY!

Thank you. I, too, am greatly annoyed at some people's tendencies to tell me that my personal choices are "immoral". Whether it's the Buchanan crowd telling me who I can or can't have sex with, or the NAACP telling me who I can or can't (or must) hire, I believe that the attempt by third parties to interfere with the choices of rational, intelligent, mutually consenting adults is simply ignorant, and definitively non-conservative.

f she (or he) were to etablish and fund an endowment to pay all costs of the diseases contracted at these clubs, she might have a better point. But, of course, she won't and the social and medical costs will be borne by society as a whole.

Stop all potentially dangerous activities now because the cost of the injuries will be borne by society as a whole. Bye bye football, basketball, skydiving, boxing, racing, etc.
