Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump continues to lose support among Republicans in the aftermath of a leaked video where he's caught making vulgar remarks about women. The most recent is former Secretary of State Colin Powell who said, two weeks before Election Day, that he is voting for Democrat Hillary Clinton. The ongoing condemnation from across the Republican Party by elected officials has resulted in 50 Republicans who have demanded he drop out or won't vote for him, according to NBC News' count. Here's how they break out: [cut] Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton said Trump "let us down again" and...

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham says he thinks President Donald Trump should attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration because it would be “good for the country.”

Democrats are sounding growing alarms in the final push before the midterm elections that the party lacks the message it needs to combat President Trump and win back Democratic majorities in Congress. Some of the comments are positively biting, and illustrate that nerves are on edge less than two weeks before Election Day. They also hint at the fights that will take place if Democrats under-perform and fail to at least win back the House majority, which would count as a significant disappointment at this stage. **SNIP** "There's one issue in this election: Donald Trump. That is it," Rep. Peter...

Special counsel Robert Mueller and his deputy Rush Atkinson filed a 14-page motion Tuesday arguing that the government shouldn’t have to release certain evidence to indicted Russian company Concord Management and Consulting LLC due to ongoing “interference operations” against the United States. In the motion, Mueller’s team requested a protective order to: (1) keep other co-defendants named in the February 16 indictment from accessing the government’s evidence against them; and (2) to keep additional evidence under the control of government attorneys and away from Concord Management itself.

Why is it that the #NeverTrump crowd can never celebrate President Trump’s historic achievements? Trump has had the most successful first 500 days in presidential history. And on the world stage President Trump is putting American interests first — something we have not seen in decades. President Donald J. Several African American graduates at the University of Florida are speaking out after a white faculty member forcibly rushed them off stage at one of the school's commencement ceremonies on Saturday. The students said they were observing a long-held tradition among black fraternities and "strolling" after getting their college degrees when the usher grabbed them and roughly shoved them along. University of Florida President W. Kent Fuchs apologized after videos of the incidents went viral online.

To start with the conclusion, President Trump is long overdue in firing his Attorney General Jeff Sessions and there are quite a few reasons for that. The thing is, Sessions has become a liability to Trump’s administration rather than an asset and, more than that, he’s become a liability to the United States. That’s why he needs to go, the sooner, the better. It is true that both Republicans and Democrats threatened the President they will not confirm a new AG provided Jeff Sessions is given the boot. However, Trump can name an interim AG for an undetermined period of...

IÂ’m no saint, nor have I ever professed to be. There are too many people currently living who could give testimony to the contrary should I ever decide to, so I wonÂ’t here. With that out of the way (itÂ’ll make more sense later in the piece), there is an area on the issue of this countryÂ’s drug laws where Republicans could both do the right thing and win some support. LetÂ’s be honest: there isnÂ’t much to vote for in the in 2018 midterm elections. For Democrats itÂ’s all about not being Donald Trump. They arenÂ’t offering up much,...

As a presidential candidate, Donald Trump praised autocrats and exhibited strongman tendencies. But as president of the United States, Trump is proving to be one of the weakest, most disinterested executives in memory. He seems happy — even eager — to be both operationally and ideologically marginalized inside his own administration. This is, I think, the best way to understand the ouster of chief strategist Steve Bannon. White House staff, congressional Republicans, military leaders, and executive branch officials are increasingly confident simply ignoring President Trump. After Trump tweeted that he wanted the military to ban transgender service members from serving,...

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers! Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

The intersection of 12th and Ocean has been the cornerstone of the LGBT community for almost thirty years, but that is about to change. Queens at The Palace Bar have been stunning tourists, stopping traffic and serving locals for quite some time. But those doors are closing for good. “It’s so sad because we are a family here, we are a team, and all of us make this place what it is today,” said T.P. Lords, one of the performers.

Senators went into a recess skeptical over whether they could agree to legislation repealing and replacing ObamaCare. They will return on Monday more doubtful than ever. Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), one of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) most loyal allies, said Thursday that it’s “unlikely” the GOP will get a healthcare deal. “I don’t see a comprehensive healthcare plan this year,” he told a local news station. Senate Republicans hoped to have a draft bill this week, but it now looks like there will at best be an outline.

A Massachusetts city is joining a handful of other municipalities across the country in calling for an impeachment investigation of President Donald Trump based on alleged conflicts of interest. During its Monday meeting, Cambridge City Council is slated to vote on a resolution calling for the U.S. House of Representatives to begin such an investigation. The resolution -- which is largely symbolic -- follows similar calls to action by other city councils, including Richmond, Virginia; Berkeley, California,; and Alameda, California.

Donald Trump says there will be “more and more” bombings like those that occurred in New York and New Jersey over the weekend because the country’s “stupid” leaders have been “weak” on immigration. “It’s a mess, and it’s a shame,” the Republican nominee said in an interview with “Fox & Friends” Monday. “I think this is something that maybe we’ll get — will happen perhaps more and more all over the country because we’ve been weak. Our country’s been weak. We’re letting people in by the thousands, the tens of thousands.” Trump pointed to President Obama’s recently announced goal to...

Bisexuality is booming, with the number of people who bed men and women more than doubling, a study says. Some 7.7 percent revealed they had bi romps in 2014, compared to 3.1 percent in 1990. The stats follow the openness of Brit model Cara Delevingne and other celebrities about their bisexuality. In the same period the percentage of men who reported having had sex with at least one man rose from 4.5 percent to 8.2 percent. And the number of women who said they had bedded at least one female leapt from 3.6 percent to 8.7 percent. Meanwhile, acceptance of...

March 29, 2016, 08:34 pm Cruz on Trump aide: 'Of course' I'd ask him to resign By Rebecca Savransky Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz said if Corey Lewandowski worked for him, he would ask the campaign manager to resign. "Of course," Cruz said in response to the question by Anderson Cooper during a CNN town hall Tuesday on whether he'd ask the embattled aide to resign. "It shouldn't be complicated that members of the campaign staff should not be physically assaulting the press," he said. "That shouldn't be a complicated decision."

You'll get no shortage of Trump-is-the-nominee talk today. At worst, he's in a very strong position. At best, he's the presumptive nominee. But even though I'm a born-pessimist, I'm not quite sure that I'm convinced by the best-case (for Trump) argument. So for the sake of argument, let's lay out the case for why Super Tuesday was not actually a campaign ender. ... ... ...

He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again.

The federal government on Wednesday offered up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest of a man involved in smuggling and travel for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The reward offer comes amid increasing concern about ISIS’s ability to send foreign fighter extremists to Europe and the United States, following the group’s direction of Friday evening’s terror attacks across Paris, which killed 129 people. Abu-Muhammad al-Shimali has been associated with ISIS or its predecessor, al Qaeda in Iraq, since 2005, the State Department said. “He now serves as a key leader in ISIL’s Immigration and...
