Behind the march: Jake Lang, Pastor Lorenzo Sewell call for ‘stop to Islamification’
DEARBORN, Mich. – Dearborn is preparing for a heightened police presence at Tuesday’s city council meeting after social media posts about a planned pro-Christian protest began circulating online.
Conservative activist Jake Lang and Detroit Pastor Lorenzo Sewell are listed as organizers behind what is being called a “Christian Crusader March on Dearborn.”
City, police coordinate for safety
Sewell claims as many as 50,000 people could show up to the protest. In response, the Dearborn Police Department says it is working with local, state, and federal partners.
“We have an operations plan in place to be able to deal with demonstrators and counter-demonstrators that plan to show up, so that everyone can exercise their First Amendment and do it freely, but also do it safely,” Shahin said.
City Council President Pro Tem Kamal Alsawafy echoed that sentiment, calling on residents to remain calm.
“Everyone has their First Amendment rights, and I respect that, but my message to our resident is simple — don’t take the bait, stay peaceful, go about your lives, and let law enforcement do its job,” Alsawafy said.
Lang posted a flyer to social media stating, “We will not surrender to Islam.”
The posts say organizers want to “stop Islamification of America.”
Dearborn is home to one of the largest Middle Eastern communities in the United States, making the announcement a source of concern for many residents.

I think the writer is saying this Christian Crusader March is planned to take place this coming Tuesday, August 18th, after a city council meeting. I hope it is well attended, and that crowd brings a few well trained people to function as Security.
I expect the actual Dearborn Police will have been told to ‘Stand Down’, meaning stand and passively watch as Muslims beat up Christians or attempt to scream abuse in their Christian faces.
