Chrysler Group apologized on Thursday for an advertisement that showed a dog being electrocuted beside its new Dodge Nitro sports utility vehicle. The ad, created by BBDO Netherlands which supports Chrysler's sales in the Dutch market, shows a dog being electrocuted after urinating on a Nitro's wheels. The agency is part of Omnicom Group Inc's BBDO Worldwide. The ad, which ends with the dog going up in flames, has the tagline "charged with adrenaline." HANOI (Reuters) - A Vietnamese man who once appeared on national television to demonstrate his ability to resist electric shocks has been electrocuted while repairing a generator, an official said on Tuesday. Nguyen Van Hung, aged in his early 40s, was killed in Tay Ninh province near the Cambodian border while repairing the generator without first cutting the power supply, a local official said. "When alive, he used to demonstrate at our office how he would insert two fingers into the electrical plughole without problems," the official said. Four Boy Scout leaders were killed in Virginia on Monday, the opening day of the organization's national Jamboree, when a metal tent pole they were holding hit a power line and apparently ignited the canvas tent above them, according to Scout officials and witnesses. CHARDON, Ohio (AP) - A 17-year-old Amish boy was electrocuted trying to remove a power line that got tangled in his horse-drawn buggy's wheels, authorities said. The boy drove over a power line Tuesday that had sagged down within a foot of the road after separating from a pole, authorities said. The line got stuck in the wheels and stopped the buggy. HEARNE -- A photojournalist for a Bryan-College Station television station was apparently electrocuted Tuesday after the mast of the station's live van came in contact with high voltage wiring while covering a story about a gas well explosion, the station said. Matt Moore, 23, of Temple, was setting up for a live shot about 6 p.m. in Hearne when he was killed. The KBTX television station employee was dead at the scene, the station said in a news release. GRESHAM, Ore. - Gresham police were investigating the electrocution death of a two-year old boy on Monday evening, authorities said. The boy was electrocuted while playing outside his family's apartment near 162nd and Burnside, Officer Grant McCormick said.
