House Republican leaders. Pete, I don’t figure, played much of a role in your butt whooping on election day.

Yet they couldn’t impeach one crooked judge. They could have eliminated entire courts with a simple majority in both houses. Lowlifes.

I don't blame Hegseth. President Trump made the call.

But this is the same deal that we see in sports. You can't fire the owner but you can fire the manager.

It turns out that Hegseth is the manager of the Iran War.

And exactly what are the charges?

“Charges? Don’t worry...we’ll think of something”.

Checks will fly next primary season against RINO traitors.

The military has performed extraordinarily well.

Well, then the republican leaders need to wrangle their members and hold the line.

Yep. And I doubt Trump will mount an enthusiastic defense when they come after Hegseth. I'm sure he's looking for someone other than himself to blame for the Iran debacle.

I'd honestly be surprised if Hegseth even lasts long enough to worry about getting impeached. I suspect he'll be hitting the road here soon enough. Shame, too. He was one of Trump's picks I was most excited about when it happened.

Scapegoat is the term being sought here. Pete is probably one of the better Secretaries who have served in the Department of War (Department of Defense in older vernacular), and what he does is at the direction of the President himself.

This is probably the beginning of hollowing out the military yet another time, under the direction of the Democrat Socialists, with the intent of disarming the United States of America in the face of serious adversaries all around the world.

DEATH TO AMERICA! - brought to you by the Democrat Socialists.

They could have cleared out the SCOTUS, but no. Can’t offend the minorities.

When explaining impeachment powers, Benjamin Franklin said the House could impeach a president just for being rude.

Was Hegseth ever rude to anyone?

This Congress, including Mike Johnson and John Thune, should become the reference standard for “How to Piss Away a Majority”.

They may also earn a spot in the record books for “Last Republican Congressional leaders”.

You say you want a revolution?

Democrats would rather have the Sec DEF concentrate on DEI than on an effective military for our country.

In the impeachment is a simple majority vote. Someone could be impeached for a bad choice of ties!

Based on what looked to be the most credible reporting on the events leading up to the stupid war in Iran, Hegseth was the only Trump cabinet member who was gullible enough to buy into the Israeli plan for the military campaign — which Trump’s own CIA director called “farcical.”

The other angle of this is that it may just be a case of elected members of Congress deciding they’ve had enough of these TV clowns in senior executive branch positions.
