Rioting at this weekend's Washington, D.C. gripe-fest celebrating the 20th anniversary of the endlessly hyped, misnamed Million Man March, seems like a definite possibility. Just this week 12 people were arrested in Hartford, Conn., for disorderly conduct after blocking traffic and access to the University of Hartford as they chanted “Black Lives Matter!” After demonstrators refused to stop sitting and standing in the road, they were arrested.

The U.S. Capitol Police’s intelligence office issued a bulletin last month warning officers of the possibility for violence during Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s rally to commemorate the Million Man March. According to the Washington Post, the warning came in the form of an email newsletter and noted that Farrakhan “has been accused of inciting violence against both Caucasians and police officers.”

Farrakhan is stirring the masses for an event of large proportions to take place in Washington D.C. Not only is he asking for people to die for this event, but he is seeking them out specifically and telling them they must do so because of a tyrannical nation. MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA.com) — A mixed martial arts fighter surrendered following an hours-long standoff with SWAT officers at his Mission Viejo home Thursday, authorities said. The incident began when Orange County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to take Jason “Mayhem” Miller into custody on an arrest warrant in a domestic violence and stalking case around 10 a.m., according to a Sheriff’s spokesperson. EUGENE, Ore. -- Dozens of moms spent their Mother's Day marching against gun violence. The 14th annual Million Mom March in Eugene stepped off from EWEB Waterfront Plaza Sunday afternoon. Before the march, Mayor Kitty Piercy and other women spoke about the need for stricter gun laws. Betsy Steffensen helped organize Eugene’s march, and said the event gives moms the power to make a huge change in the world.

FAIRFIELD, Iowa (AP) - Oprah Winfrey meditated with more than 400 women in southeastern Iowa and also talked to students about her spiritual journey. Suzanne Stryker says she was among the women participating in the transcendental meditation Wednesday at the Maharishi School in Fairfield. She says no one in the meditation group knew the TV personality was going to be there until Winfrey, who heads the OWN television network, arrived with a film crew. The private Maharishi School specializes in "consciousness-based education" for kindergarten through 12th grade.

3M Co., citing new federal health laws, said Monday it won't cover retirees with its corporate health-insurance plan starting in 2013. Instead, the company will direct retirees to Medicare-backed insurance programs, and will provide reimbursement for that coverage.
