MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA.com) A mixed martial arts fighter surrendered following an hours-long standoff with SWAT officers at his Mission Viejo home Thursday, authorities said.
The incident began when Orange County Sheriffs deputies attempted to take Jason Mayhem Miller into custody on an arrest warrant in a domestic violence and stalking case around 10 a.m., according to a Sheriffs spokesperson.
When deputies tried to take Miller into custody, he ran back into his home and has refused to come out, authorities said.
Miller surrendered in back of the residence and was in custody shortly after 2:10 p.m., a Sheriffs spokesperson said. He was seen sporting a pink Mohawk-style haircut as deputies took him into custody.
No known hostages were involved, according to deputies.
Millers verified account on Twitter posted several tweets of the incident, including one in which Miller claims They tryna to murder me. I just want a peaceful solution.
He looks like zippy
Oh my.
This dude has been washed up for some time now though.
This is the guy who was on some TV show called “Bully Beatdown”. It was a decent show where some bullied schlub would write in about how he was bullied and Mayhem would confront the bully and offer him $5k to step into the ring with a real MMA fighter. If the bully won, he got the money. If he lost, the poor schlub got the money. Most of the time the bully got what was coming to him and supposedly made up with the poor schlub. I hate to admit it, but it was somewhat enjoyable watching a douche bully getting the stew beaten out of him.
That’s what is was.
I was having an outdoor lunch on Alicia Road and was accompanied by helicopters the entire time.
Thanks for the Mayhem.
I live in MV but missed the fun.
I loved Bully Beatdown. There was one episode where the bully was such an incredible ass that Mayhem himself took the dude out. Great show.
I never understood stalking. Especially stalking an ex. The last person I want to see when I break up with a woman is the woman.
