The Battle for the Future of MAGA Begins Greg Gutfeld: Emily: VP JD making the first move, blaming the Republicans’ losses on the Iran war, tweeting, “The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night, and the honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis laid out the damage.. 'This is close to probably the last hundred years. This is going to last far beyond just two years. You look ahead to the ’28 election, the presidential election. You are not, as Republicans, going to be able to...

One thing I understand about Tucker, Tucker runs around claiming he's America first. So I asked the company, they look at social media and they can tell you where the amplification is coming from on social media. So you know the number one amplification point for Tucker Carlson, you know where it is? Want to guess? Pakistan. That's number one. Number two is Qatar. So Tucker Carlson, he's not America first. He's Pakistan first. He's Qatar first. And the sad thing about it is the people who follow him don't even know that. He is selling this kind of stuff...

The U.S. government is warning of an "ongoing cyber threat" facing industrial refrigeration units, after reports of cyberattacks targeting freezers and fridges in supermarkets around the world, U.S. military bases, and at least one blood bank. U.S. cybersecurity agency CISA, the FBI, and several other federal government departments warned in a joint statement on Thursday that hackers are targeting and compromising internet-connected refrigeration and cold chain monitoring systems in grocery stores and cold storage facilities. The statement said that the hacks are hitting critical infrastructure, such as the food, agriculture, transportation, and medicine-shipping industries. "If successfully exploited, the actors could...

Liberty, Democracy and Tyranny Like many thinkers worth reading, all sorts have claimed Plato as their own. There is plenty in his work which recommends aspects of the conservative tradition, yet his proposals of communal childrearing and equal rights and privileges between the sexes in ‘Republic’ have endeared him to young romantics and movements on the left. But regardless of whether you read him as a reactionary or revolutionary, one thing is quite certain—Plato was not a fan of democracy. The most important reason for this, of course, is because it was under Athenian democracy that Plato’s mentor, Socrates, was...

Democrats’ historic triumph was fueled by a rare coalition of voters. WASHINGTON — Democrats heralded a new era in American politics Wednesday after voters broke Republicans’ control of government and delivered a pivotal rebuke of President Trump. Victories that handed Democrats control of the House and Senate on Tuesday night came in historic form, with margins outstripping expectations and double-digit shifts to the left by nearly every voting bloc. In some of the reddest states in the union, even Republican redistricting efforts designed to shield districts from competition were not enough to prevent Democratic inroads. The sweeping wins were driven...

Paraguay’s central bank has seized a major digital bank with ties to President Santiago Peña ... ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay -- Paraguay’s central bank seized a major digital lender with close ties to President Santiago Peña early Tuesday, throwing the savings of millions of customers and hundreds of millions of dollars in public funds into limbo. The Central Bank of Paraguay said that its board voted unanimously Monday to put Ueno Bank into resolution after its solvency ratio — a measure of a bank’s capital against its risk-weighted assets — fell below half the legal minimum. Unlike bankruptcy proceedings in court, resolution...

Radio images suggest a link between Betelgeuse’s changing outline and its companion’s expected orbit, offering clues to how a smaller star may influence a giant’s later life. Betelgeuse, the bright red supergiant marking Orion’s shoulder, may have another star stirring its atmosphere from within. Its recently identified companion, Siwarha, is thought to orbit at a distance of only about twice the giant’s radius. New radio observations suggest that this close neighbor is leaving a visible mark on the shape of Betelgeuse’s outer gas, even though the companion itself is too faint to appear in those observations. Researchers proposed Siwarha’s existence...

When even a blue wave midterm election can't save your failing leftist propaganda outlet, that's a pretty good sign that your outlet really sucks. Salon found that out the hard way today, as the once-mildly popular online publication announced that it is going out of business after three decades of pushing leftist agendas, narratives, and just plain weird stories. In their valediction, Salon's editors lamented their current irrelevance while giving everyone a final laugh by declaring themselves "journalists." The business realities of independent digital journalism have changed profoundly over the years. After careful consideration, we have reached the difficult decision...

(The Economic Collapse Blog) — What in the world just happened? Words like “tsunami” and “wipeout” are being used by the pundits, but I don’t think that they are strong enough. It is clear that much of the population was frustrated with the Republican Party. But instead of seeking out another alternative, voters overwhelmingly chose to hand the keys to the political party that made a giant mess of things when they were in charge earlier this decade. The 4 years of the Biden administration were absolutely horrific, and the Republicans were given control of the White House, the Senate and...

The comment came as Flanagan, now the first Native American woman elected to the Senate, claimed victory in the open seat left by retiring Democrat Tina Smith. During her speech, Flanagan said Minnesotans had rejected what she called President Donald Trump’s “masked goons shooting our neighbors and terrorizing our communities.” Flanagan continued, “We will rip ICE apart. That’s right. And we have the opportunity to replace it with an immigration system that is grounded in public safety for everybody, dignity and due process.” WATCH: Senator-elect Peggy Flanagan: "We will rip ICE apart!" https://t.co/35jpyMBNxv — Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) November 4, 2026...

Few, if any, major Democratic elected officials have navigated the politics of the past few years as deftly as Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA). Shapiro easily won three straight statewide elections in a state that voted for Donald Trump two out of three times, and elected a Republican senator, too. Shapiro is obviously smart. He probably has the highest IQ of any statewide elected Democrat in America. He’s also shrewd. He has been pragmatic: Remember, he threw out all sorts of regulations and normal constraints in order to repair a collapsed highway overpass in a matter of days. While other prominent...

President Donald Trump met with his national security team Thursday to discuss whether to resume military operations against Iran, senior officials confirmed to Fox News. There were meetings at the White House Wednesday and Thursday, the officials said. Nov. 9 marks a new moon in the Middle East, meaning little to no moonlight — a condition favorable for military operations, they added. Trump told reporters in the Oval Office earlier Thursday that Washington would “make a decision” on resuming the war. “Do we want to go further” with strikes to ensure Iran's nuclear program is dead and that “it will...

On Tuesday, Democrats swept the midterm elections with shocking wins across the country, including sweeping Texas and winning US Senate seats in deep red states including South Carolina, Iowa, Ohio, Kansas, Mississippi (likely), and even Texas. At The Gateway Pundit, we have postponed our public announcements on the reasons for this historic midterm bloodbath. We are still looking at Tuesday's numbers and starting to see more shocking coincidences. These released results require 'a willing suspension of disbelief.' Earlier TGP reported on squishy James Talarico's weirdly impossible numbers. The pro-trans kids Texas candidate may have been missing for two weeks during...

We’ve got to make sure that nobody has to worry about high healthcare premiums,” former president Barack Obama said at a recent Democratic rally. “We have a lot of work to do.” The high cost of health insurance has become a central issue for Democrats campaigning to seize control of Congress. It’s not a made-up issue: Average premiums have increased more than 40% in the last four years, and have more than doubled in the past decade. How did healthcare costs get this high? Much of the blame rests with Obama’s signature achievement: Obamacare, or the Affordable Care Act. By...
