President Donald Trump met with his national security team Thursday to discuss whether to resume military operations against Iran, senior officials confirmed to Fox News.
There were meetings at the White House Wednesday and Thursday, the officials said.
Nov. 9 marks a new moon in the Middle East, meaning little to no moonlight — a condition favorable for military operations, they added.
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office earlier Thursday that Washington would “make a decision” on resuming the war.
“Do we want to go further” with strikes to ensure Iran's nuclear program is dead and that “it will never happen again?” he added.
“I would rather not destroy the rest of the country if possible, but maybe I will have to. You'll know soon enough.”

President Trump should just settle back, and leave the "Peace Talks" to Hedgeth and Rubio. Play a few rounds of golf, Don. Personally my idea of "Peace Talks" as God is my witness is the obliterate Iran. Every bridge, refinery, pipeline, railway, highway, power plant, waterworks. Everything. As President Trump promised the Iranian People in February 2026 "Help is on the way".

Mr. President, thank you for all you have done on immigration and trade. But I don’t think we need to be doing any bombing in the Middle East. Let’s just tighten up our immigration system even more by not letting any more muslims into the country (and denaturalizing and deporting those already here). Our first duty is to protect our own country, not other countries around the world.

Of this 41 minute interview Trump spent 20 minutes, nearly 50 percent of the time talking about the ballroom and its construction, including columns, glass, security features, underground space, marble, kitchen, funding, the helipad, monuments, and the Reflecting Pool.
Almost 5 minutes talking about the election loss and the War. 10-12 percent. And believe it or not - Trump went on to say about the war that if he had to do it all over again, he would do the same.
