‘A generational remake’ from the left

Democrats’ historic triumph was fueled by a rare coalition of voters.

WASHINGTON — Democrats heralded a new era in American politics Wednesday after voters broke Republicans’ control of government and delivered a pivotal rebuke of President Trump.

Victories that handed Democrats control of the House and Senate on Tuesday night came in historic form, with margins outstripping expectations and double-digit shifts to the left by nearly every voting bloc. In some of the reddest states in the union, even Republican redistricting efforts designed to shield districts from competition were not enough to prevent Democratic inroads.

The sweeping wins were driven by a rare coalition of voters across nearly all walks of American life, in cities and countryside, from the rural Midwest and Deep South to a traditionally conservative mid-Atlantic. Not since voters were repulsed by President Nixon after the Watergate scandal half a century ago has the popular vote swung so decisively in a single election cycle.

The wave was so comprehensive that it handed Democrats wins that for decades had been unthinkable — flipping Senate seats in Kansas, South Carolina and Texas — and a majority of governors’ seats for the first time since 2010. The party also flipped statehouse chambers in nine states, including Texas, Arizona and Georgia.

The size of the House majority remained to be seen as states continued counting votes, but Democrats had reached 237 seats, representing a decisive wave, by Wednesday afternoon, according to Associated Press projections.

“It wasn’t simply a blue wave, it was an American tsunami,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said, pledging to deliver “a dramatic change in direction” after the new legislative session begins in January. “The American people have chosen the economy over extremism. The American people have chosen hope over hatred.”

The routing of the GOP appeared...

Thank you very much and God bless you.

I have confidence that the Left will overreach, like they always do, and the backlash in two years will be epic.

Agreed, their focus on persecuting Trump and anyone and anything associated with him.......just like last time, will swing the pendulum in the other direction.

Trump will be proven right in Iran......folks don’t care, unfortunately.

I wrote this yesterday… The new legislature will start off with a lot of fanfare. They will hold hearings, drag ICE agents and other people before subcommittees, and pass a bunch of bills that have zero chance of getting Trump’s signature.

Trump will keep tweeting and his cabinet will keep doing whatever they can do without the legislature. Trump won’t be like Dubya and will veto everything. Trump WILL be like Trump and prolly roll thru a dozen new employees.

Sometime in the summer, the Squad/AOC wing of the Dems will get flak from their fans because they haven’t gotten anything done. They will yell back, well, it’s all those moldy old Dems who are moderates. They will start infighting, and any legislation will grind to a halt.

AOC et al will start campaigning for 2028. So will the others. 2028 will be a big nothingburger.

Similarly, Rubio will start campaigning. Vance will, too, and a dozen other Pubbies who think they have a chance.

Iran will be an albatross around Trump’s neck. The border will become porous as the House withholds finding for ICE.

“Trump will be proven right in Iran”

The average Iranian is watching Trump’s term collapsing and quickly realizing that they’re going to have to rise up and do the fighting largely themselves against the IRGC. Look for a bloodbath over there too in the coming months.

Hillary’s village was successful.
They raised a generation of brainwashed pawns who do as they’re told.
Who cares if they can’t read or do math?
All they’re required to do is vote for the islamocommie party.
And they get paid to riot.
