When we get a win, we take it. There will be fearmongering, gaslighting, propaganda, and very likely a surge in some oddball variant of Covid-19 that will be used to scare up more booster adoption, but for now we can celebrate the fact that the American people seem to be waking up to the con, at least in part. A report from Just The News indicates around 1.5% of Americans who can get their 5th jab, the so-called “bivalent booster shots” from Moderna and Pfizer, have actually done so. (snip) To counter this, it appears the powers-that-be are pushing for...

Wearing T-shirts showing Russian bears, waving flags with "Z" symbols, and holding pictures of Putin aloft -- the Ukraine war has not deterred Bulgarian Russophiles, who rallied in the centre of the country on Sunday to show their support. The Balkan state -- an EU and NATO member with historically close ties to Russia -- still has many citizens nostalgic for the former Communist regime. The pro-Moscow rally came as Sofia readies to return to the polls and the country grapples with its identity. Hristo Ganev, a 60-year-old driver, had arrived at Sunday's event early and bought a T-shirt emblazoned...

In a supremely tight contest, the Trump-backed Kelly Tshibaka is running against notorious RINO and incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) to represent Alaska in the US Senate. Alaska is a very Pro-Trump and Pro-America state, which bodes well for Tshibaka. Indeed, as of recently, Tshibaka is within striking distance of taking Murkowski’s spot in the US Senate — a spot Murkowski has occupied since 2002. As the DC Enquirer reports: “Recent polling put out by Cygnal could spell bad news for Murkowski — and it takes into account Alaska’s ranked-choice voting system, a system where voters rank candidates by preference...

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) appears to be on the verge of being vindicated after being viciously smeared by leftists and the media over long-running sex-trafficking allegations as career prosecutors recommend dropping the investigation. The prosecutors told Justice Department superiors that a conviction is unlikely due to credibility questions concerning the two central witnesses, according to The Washington Post. “Senior department officials have not made a final decision on whether to charge Gaetz, but it is rare for such advice to be rejected, these people told The Washington Post, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the deliberations. They added...

The GOP establishment is selling out their own party’s Trump-endorsed nominee for Governor of Pennsylvania, Doug Mastriano, and is now fundraising for Democrat Josh Shapiro. Throughout the nominating process and now the general election, the GOP establishment has publicly opposed Mastriano, one of the America First movement’s staunchest supporters, whose campaign the establishment has been unable to control. Failed GOP establishment candidate Jeff Bartos attended a September 21st fundraiser for far-left Democrat gubernatorial nominee Josh Shapiro. Treacherous Republican Josh Bartos wasn’t just any old attendee at the Democrat fundraiser though. In fact, it was hosted by his wife, and the...

Explanation: The dust sculptures of the Eagle Nebula are evaporating. As powerful starlight whittles away these cool cosmic mountains, the statuesque pillars that remain might be imagined as mythical beasts. Featured here is one of several striking dust pillars of the Eagle Nebula that might be described as a gigantic alien fairy. This fairy, however, is ten light years tall and spews radiation much hotter than common fire. The greater Eagle Nebula, M16, is actually a giant evaporating shell of gas and dust inside of which is a growing cavity filled with a spectacular stellar nursery currently forming an open...

As Twitchy readers know, Jamie Raskin tried to play dumb about who Ray Epps is earlier this week (yeah, he wasn’t playing, we know) and it didn’t go over so well with Rep. Thomas Massie. Seems the good representative from Kentucky is still not good with the committee ignoring this very important witness. Why are Democrats hiding Ray Epps? Don’t they realize the more they hide him, the more they pretend we’re all crazy for believing our ‘lying eyes,’ the shadier the whole thing looks? If the January 6th Committee wants us to take them seriously, to believe them when...

"So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." "That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." Revelation, Chapter 17 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee...

As CNN tries to rebuild public trust, the network made the bizarre choice to move Jake Tapper to primetime. It’s supposed to impress Republicans in Washington that new CNN boss Chris Licht has fired a few people at the channel and demoted some others. It’s probably working, but nothing proves how truly meaningless the changes are than that it was announced Thursday that the highly sensitive and monotonous Jake Tapper will be getting a primetime show. Axios ran no fewer than three stories promoting Licht’s efforts to assure Republicans in Congress that they should give CNN a chance under his...

More than half of Democrats responding to a new survey have revealed they would prefer a candidate other than President Joe Biden as their candidate in 2024. The ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 56% of Democrats wanted a different candidate, with just 35% preferring Biden in the next presidential election.

With flu season approaching in the US, murmurs of a potential "twindemic" brewing are once again starting to surface. "This could very well be the year," Vanderbilt infectious disease expert Dr. William Schaffner told NPR's Up First on Friday, "we have a surge in COVID, and simultaneously an increase in influenza." One big reason that infectious disease experts are especially worried this year is because Australia's 2022 flu season was pretty bad, and what happens during the Southern Hemisphere's winter flu surge often forshadows the US flu season well.

Outside of communities seeing "high" levels of COVID-19 transmission, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has ended a blanket plea for Americans in hospitals and nursing homes to wear masks indoors. The change, one of many published Friday evening to the agency's guidance for COVID-19 infection control for healthcare workers, marks one of the final sets of revisions in a sweeping effort launched in August to overhaul the CDC's recommendations for the virus.

One year ago, President Joe Biden falsely accused Del Rio Sector Horse Patrol Unit agents of using horses to run over migrants and of strapping them from horseback. The president refused to apologize to the agents despite his accusations being proven to be untrue. “To see people treated like they did, horses running them over and people getting strapped, it’s outrageous I promise you those people will pay,” Biden said one year ago. Despite no publicly available evidence to back up his claims, the accusations stuck and the president has not apologized to the agents involved in the incident.

I’m hopeful someone can help with his Expert Opinion in this situation: heating oil was accidently added to kerosene in outside fuel tank... Details: Regular home-heating fuel used for 5 years: Kerosene About 70 gallons of kerosene was remaining in the tank before delivery (total tank capacity: 275 gallons). Accidently, during the delivery, 100 gallons of #2 heating oil was added, by mistake, to kerosene (four days ago) Present/current mix in the tank: about 70 gallons of kerosene and 100 gallons of #2 heating oil. Burner: “Thermo Pride” Heard that mix of heating fuels leads to fire hazards... so looked...

Ahead of the November midterm elections, voters widely favor the Republican candidate in competitive House districts crucial to GOP efforts to flip the chamber, a new poll indicates. Among those living in congressional districts rated at least somewhat competitive by ABC’s FiveThirtyEight, registered voters favor Republican candidates by 55 to 34 percent, according to a poll produced for ABC News/Washington Post by Langer Research Associates. In heavily Democratic districts, Democrats lead by 35 points, “pointing to a potential overvote where they’re most prevalent,” the poll notes. Accounting for all respondents, 47 percent would vote for the Republican candidate and 46...

(CNN)CIA physician Dr. Paul Andrews was one of the first people sent to Havana, Cuba, to investigate a spate of mysterious health incidents that were impacting embassy and agency personnel in 2017 when he was struck by the same set of debilitating symptoms, he told CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta in his first public interview for a CNN Special Report: "Immaculate Concussion: The Truth About Havana Syndrome." Andrews, who is using a pseudonym in order to speak publicly, had already been studying the first victims of what has come to be known colloquially as "Havana syndrome," or officially...

A billowing column of dark smoke towered over Paris on Sunday from a warehouse blaze at a massive produce market that supplies the French capital and surrounding region with much of its fresh food and bills itself as the largest of its kind in the world. Firefighters urged people to stay away from the area in Paris' southern suburbs, as 100 officers and 30 fire engines battled the blaze at the Rungis International Market. Capt. Marc Le Moine, a spokesman for the Paris fire service, said no one was injured. The fire was brought under control and there was no...
