Fellow Americans, there comes a time every mans life when we must give up ourselves before we are worthy to recieve. There comes a time in this war on terror when in order to protect liberty, we have to give it up in the mean time for safty. That's right folks. Today, Americans have forsaken the creator for the creation and have decided that they would value our "civil liberties" than protecting western civilization and rich white people from the tender mercies of radical Islamic terrorists. Selfish liberals insist and whine that Bush has no right to spy on Americans and ban certain undesirables from using our airlines. They demand the right to criticize and blaspheeme the name of our supreme commander and cheef George W Bush while forcing multiculturalism down our throats and praising Bill Clinton. We all know however that it's totally Clintons fult for everything bad in america. Now we are at war and we must make a decision. support the safty of America and defeat terrorists, or support civil liberties and give victory to the enemy. Its all because of Bill Clinton and civil liberties that we are in this war so it is only fair that we give it up. no one said life was supposed to be fair you liberal crybabys. Dont give me that rubbish about equality and diversity. WE ARE AT WAR! If your not for Bush and against civil liberties your a terrorist! Your probably even a Communist and should be detained. Therefore fellow Americans we must throw all of our trust and resources behind George W Bush and behind this war with no ifs ands or buts. Be sure to report any and all detractors and freedom supporters to your local military and never question. Bush knows what hes doing and we will win this war once and for all. The way I brew my coffee, using a 'modern' drip perc, sorta "ha ha" emulates what the old Corningware perc would do.

If you're lucky and the coffee roast isn't weak and anemic.

But it seems to be rough on the drip percs, seems to tear them up a bit.
Might be the fact that I double brew my stuff.

I do that too, but only when my wife isn't around.

I mean, not only does her coffee tastes like water, but she needs a full day to make instant coffee, not that I ever drink her so-called coffee.

I get yelled at for my coffee.
My father will drink the stuff, but it doesn't age well unfortunately.

However, there is a use for weak coffee in something called sop n toast.
Toast with butter dipped in coffee (minus creamer) and eaten.

I was right... almost 300 posts from 5PM last night to this morning....

I've fallen in with a coven of Vampires.

Of course. No child worth his salt would do otherwise.

This is generally resolved, during the day, by a bright, happy smile and a pronouncement that if they are so awake, they must be ready to do something productive, like housework.

If they've already been sent to bed, I either pull a "Bill Cosby" and tell them that since they are bound and determined to be awake, they can be awake, standing in the hallway, shivering in their undies, or have them do pushups until I'm not angry anymore. I generally don't cool down before 75 pushups.

I have, on occasions of extreme duress, threatened them with the exercise known as "ladders". Halfway through the description, they blanche, humbly confess their manifold sins and wickedness, and go to bed quietly.

Irritating. They are working on the plumbing in htis building and I couldn't get any hot water out of the coffee pots for my oatmeal this morning.

I used to skip breakfast all the time. Now I get cranky without it.

Morning, 'Face! Hope you get it, 'cuz we certainly aren't getting it here. Bright sun and frost this morning, on my may back to the district court for another fun and exciting day of jury duty. (They have a lot of trials this week; some are here in the pool who have already finished a trial.)

We're only supposed to get to 65, and the barometer is way up into the "Rain Fersure" stage, but it's been like that off and on for a month.

I think we're at 120 days without the rain, now..or close to it, so I hope it DOES pucker up and rain.
