The way I brew my coffee, using a 'modern' drip perc, sorta "ha ha" emulates what the old Corningware perc would do.

If you're lucky and the coffee roast isn't weak and anemic.
But it seems to be rough on the drip percs, seems to tear them up a bit.
Might be the fact that I double brew my stuff.

I do that too, but only when my wife isn't around.
I mean, not only does her coffee tastes like water, but she needs a full day to make instant coffee, not that I ever drink her so-called coffee.
