Dear Fox News. Please get rid of Geraldo Rivera. I can't watch the 5 anymore. Bring the drunk guy back. He never made any sense either, but he was quieter. The 5 used to be my favorite talking head show. Now it's a screaming head show. I vote for Camille Paglia to replace Geraldo. At least we'll gain some understanding of progressive liberalthink thinking.

Fellow Americans, there comes a time every mans life when we must give up ourselves before we are worthy to recieve. There comes a time in this war on terror when in order to protect liberty, we have to give it up in the mean time for safty. That's right folks. Today, Americans have forsaken the creator for the creation and have decided that they would value our "civil liberties" than protecting western civilization and rich white people from the tender mercies of radical Islamic terrorists. Selfish liberals insist and whine that Bush has no right to spy on Americans...

Sunday May 22, 2005 By LAWRENCE MESSINA Associated Press Writer SOPHIA, W.Va. (AP) Nationally, Robert C. Byrd may wear a Republican bulls-eye the senator atop the GOP's electoral hit list for 2006. But in Sophia, the town of 1,301 he left for Congress some 52 years ago, he is still very much the favorite son. ``He's always trying to help us out,'' said Shawn Stines, a 26-year-old mechanic, as he stuffed a dryer at the Sophia Laundromat. ``I like him. He's a good guy.'' Outside Priddy's Hardware Store, 64-year-old Frances Meredith is even more emphatic. ``I love him,'' Meredith said....

By Greg Mitchell Published: September 27, 2004 8:00 PM EDT NEW YORK On the eve of the Vote for Change tour, which has sparked controversy in newsrooms where reporters have been ordered not to attend the pro-Kerry fundraisers, Bruce Springsteen, one of the stars of the concerts, has a few words for the press. In a wide ranging interview in the just-published Oct. 14 issue of Rolling Stone, Springsteen says, "The press has let the country down. It's taken a very amoral stand, in that essential issues are often portrayed as simply one side says this and the other side...
  • TRANSCRIPT: Hollings Not to Seek Re-Election in 2004 (Hollings calls Bush a "boy")

HOLLINGS: "With all of this attention, radio, tv and press, I'm constrained from changing my mind. I want to confirm what you have all suspected, that I will not be opting for re-election this next year. I say what you all suspected in that I indicated that last year, and we haven't had any fundraisers in this state for four years. It's not that we are quitting; we have a good year and a half worth of work. "I'm truly worried about the country's direction. And a friend just mentioned you never hold back, but 'now you're leaving and not...

As President Bush meets other world leaders this weekend, and tries to patch things up between America and the rest of the planet, I find myself looking back and asking: What's been going on here? After 9/11 people wondered, "Why do they hate us?" speaking of the Muslim world. After the Iraq war debate, the question has grown into, "Why does everybody else hate us?" I've sketched out my own answer, which I modestly call "A Brief Theory of Everything." I offer it here, even more briefly, in hopes that people will write in with comments or catcalls so I...

We got a look at the nature of our enemy over the last few days. Pretending to surrender, Iraqi forces opened fire on coalition forces advancing to accept their surrender. Other Iraqis discarded their uniforms to make war in civilian dress. Then came the humiliation of captured American troops on Iraqi TV. All are violations of the Geneva conventions of war. And worst of all was strong suspicion that Americans taken prisoner were executed. None of that bothers movie maker Michael Moore; he's still fighting the 2000 election. Upon winning an Oscar Sunday night, Moore lumbered to the stage, the...
