The New York Times published an analysis Friday in which it claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had “gone rogue” by killing terrorists who had killed Israeli citizens, rather than acquiescing. The story, by Steven Erlanger, is just one of many stories that appeared Friday in the center-left media — both in Israel and the United States — accusing Netanyahu of chasing victory at the price of a ceasefire-hostage deal. Erlanger, citing “analysts,” wrote: The assassinations of senior Hezbollah and Hamas figures abroad have now sharply raised the risks of a larger regional war as Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah...

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) said Friday on MSNBC’s “Katy Tur Reports” that Justice Clarence Thomas and Justice Samuel Alito went “rogue” violating federal laws. Tur said, “While Justice Alito has not commented on the Appeal to Heaven flag, his wife is the one who flew the upside-down flag in the Virginia home in the dispute with their neighbor. Joining us now, Rhode Island Senator and member of the Judiciary Committee, Sheldon Whitehouse, who, alongside Dick Durbin, sent a letter to Chief Justice Roberts requesting a meeting to ensure Justice Alito recuses himself from January 6th cases. Thank you for being...

GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley again slammed former President Trump for his comments mocking her deployed husband, saying a “rogue golf ball” is the closest the former president has ever come to combat. “The closest Donald Trump has ever come to harm’s way is a rogue golf ball hitting his cart. It’s not surprising that he doesn’t understand the sacrifices made by those in uniform,” Haley wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Trump took aim at Haley’s husband, who was deployed to Africa in June with the South Carolina Army National Guard, for not being on the campaign trail with Haley...

Migrants booted from Big Apple shelters have been setting up an illegal mini-tent city outside Randall’s Island’s housing site — despite the Adams administration’s best efforts to thwart them. “For the past month or so, we will come here, and there’ll be one or two tents set up, and we’ll ask them to take them down,” a city Parks Department enforcement officer told The Post at the site on Sunday. “But every day when we come back, there’s more.”

Victor Davis Hanson, speaking to host Dan Proft on American Greatness’ “Counterculture” podcast, said that it’s necessary to “clean up and break up” rogue government agencies that “lie with impunity.” “How do you stop the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the local prosecutors from doing what they’re doing?” Hanson asked Proft. “James Comey, Anthony Fauci, Robert Mueller, Andrew McCabe — that lie with impunity?” “You’d have to go through and completely clean out and break up those agencies.” This full interview is available on Rumble, YouTube, and Spotify. In his interview with Proft, Hanson offered an analysis of the current...

Americans once believed that the FBI was an incorruptible agency, untainted by local or, indeed any politics. From 1965-1975, The F.B.I. showed TV viewers a successful, honest FBI. Not only was the FBI never that good, today’s news stories signal that it’s completely awful. Here’s more information about the Philadelphia raid, along with other negative FBI news: 1. Jack Cashill wrote about the FBI’s over-the-top arrest of Mark Houck, a pro-life activist, who pushed an abortion activist last year because the man was aggressive around Houck’s 12-year-old son. The man filed a now-dismissed civil suit, but that wasn’t enough for...

Mark the date in your memory; August 8, 2022. It will be recorded in history as the "Shattering of American Democracy." Although nowhere near the bestial, violent actions of the Nazi brownshirts against helpless German Jews during the two days known as Kristallnacht in 1939, there is a similarity in the message - one of the end of the rule of democratic values and civil rights. (Kristallnacht, however was the German Nazis' opening salvo of fascism, the beginning of the extermination of Jews and democracy, on November 9, 1938.) Yesterday was a sad day for all of patriotic Americans, as...

Twitter has taken the unusual step of locking down its source code after its board of directors accepted Elon Musk’s bid to take over the company, according to a new report. According to Bloomberg, the code lockdown will make it harder for employees — disgruntled or otherwise — to make changes. Bloomberg cited as its source “people familiar with the matter” who were not named. Any changes to Twitter’s code will require approval from a vice president, Bloomberg reported. Twitter acted “to keep employees who may be miffed about the deal from ‘going rogue,’” the Bloomberg report said, citing one...

Legendary American manufacturer Indian Motorcycle produces some of the most badass-looking bikes on the planet — motorcycles cool enough to even get people who don't ride to take notice. Now, the company has just announced their most aggressive versions of their iconic Scout model yet for 2022: the Scout Rogue and its more affordable counterpart, the Scout Rogue Sixty. Indian Motorcycle says the bikes will, not surprisingly, channel the "rogue spirit" inherent to motorcycle riding. How does the Scout Rogue differ from the standard Scout? The Scout Rogue models come with a 19-inch front wheel, providing better handling and style....

Astronomers first learned about free-floating planets in the 1990s, but many unanswered questions remain, such as the conditions under which they form, their size and composition, and their relative abundance in the galaxy. This effectively doubles the total number of known free-floating planets—a sign that the total population of rogue planets in our galaxy is huge. The newly detected rogue planets were detected in nearly 20 years’ worth of astronomical data, including observations gathered by the European Southern Observatory, the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope, the Subaru Telescope, and ESA’s Gaia satellite.

Supporters of President Donald Trump are being targeted in Coronado, California with yard signs reading, “Racism Lives Here” that are designed to mimic Trump/Pence lawn signs. A Russian fighter jet on Sunday reportedly came dangerously close to an Israeli passenger aircraft while on route from the Greek island of Rhodes to Tel Aviv's Ben-Gurion Airport. The incident occurred when the Israir flight entered Cypriot air space. No casualties or damage were reported. The Russian Sukhoi Su-27 came to within a mile from the Israir Airbus A320, a distance considered unsafe, for several minutes before air traffic controllers in Cyprus warned it away. Russia has fighter aircraft stationed in nearby Syria, where it is assisting the Assad regime in the civil war, leading to crowded skies in...

In April something was bugging me… a familiarity amid the COVID lock-down status & another time… I couldn’t quite put my finger on it until a dear friend reminded me.Many U.S. states are acting like the early 1980’s and the imposition of Martial law in Poland to target the Solidarity movement. Subsequently I wrote about it on a Twitter thread, because the parallels were really quite remarkable. Both Poland circa 1980 and the U.S. friction in 2020, center around fragile economic issues. Both were an outcome of state control; and the key connection is government targeting control over the workers. In both...

In a recent letter to The New York Times, Marquette theologian Daniel Maguire suggested that the Catholic Church was headed toward a three-way schism. Writing about Pope Francis’ reforms to the annulment process, Maguire predicted: Catholicism is going the way of its parent, Judaism. In Judaism there are Reform as well as Conservative and Orthodox communities. This arrangement is not yet formalized in Catholicism, but the outlines of a similar broadening are in place …. While conservative and orthodox Catholics welcome this annulment concession by the Vatican, reform Catholics don’t need it. Their consciences are their Vatican. Reform Catholics, whose...

"...any group that separates from the Catholic Church would cease to be Catholic - even if they called themselves Catholic." Writing about Pope Francis’ reforms to the annulment process, Maguire predicted: Catholicism is going the way of its parent, Judaism. While conservative and orthodox Catholics welcome this annulment concession by the Vatican, reform Catholics don’t need it. Their consciences are their Vatican. Reform Catholics, whose numbers are swelling, are...

North Korea launched another missile Friday, the rogue nation's first missile launch since its massive nuclear test more than a week ago, prompting U.S. officials to issue a sharp round of condemnation. The missile was launched eastward early Friday from Sunan, the site of Pyongyang's international airport. It flew over northern Japan before landing in the Pacific Ocean, according to U.S. Pacific Command. President Donald Trump, who last month vowed "fire and fury" if North Korea ramped up its nuclear threats, didn't immediately comment. However, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis called the missile a reckless act by the North Koreans, adding...

MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Dairy Queen in downtown Moorhead has been thumbing its nose at corporate HQ pretty much since it opened in 1949, despite some efforts from the home office to have the store mind its Ds and Qs. And it’s a recipe that seems to be working for one of the few DQs in the country still operating under a 66-year-old contract that allows them to dish up throwback treats alongside the standard corporate-approved items, a combination that turns Main Avenue and 8th Street into a hopping, slightly retro summer hangout. Though the restaurant shuts down in the...
