Please continue to pray for Allie I just got an update from my daughter in law about Allie. Here is what I heard. This all started with the Flu which attacked Allie's heart which reduced the flow of oxygen to her brain which has caused some level of damage. Doctors were able to remove her breathing tube, so Allie is breathing on her own. During the intubation process Allie bit off part of her tongue so she had surgery to repair the damage. She is still on dialysis and unfortunately not very responsive. The prognosis for her recovery to full...

Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella, 19, has shared her brain cancer diagnosis. (GMA / ABC) Michael Strahan’s 19-year-old daughter Isabella is undergoing treatment for medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor that starts in the lower part of the brain, the teen and her dad said in an interview that aired Thursday on “Good Morning America.” The “GMA” co-anchor and his daughter opened up about her diagnosis, speaking with Strahan’s fellow host, cancer survivor Robin Roberts, who called it a “very emotional morning” at the ABC morning news show. Isabella Strahan, who began her freshman year at the University of Southern California in...

My daughter in law has asked for prayers for her cousin's 4 year old little girl. Allie is her name. Allie recently showed symptoms of maybe a flu or a virus but now that has turned to septic. I pains me so to even write about Allie because she is now on life support in Children's Hospital of Philadelphia CHOP.

Authorities discovered the bodies of seven people Monday while searching a rural Oklahoma property for two missing teenagers, state investigators confirmed. The bodies were found near the town of Henryetta, a town of about 6,000 located about 90 miles (145 kilometers) east of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesman Gerald Davidson said. He said the state medical examiner will have to identify the victims, but authorities were no longer searching for the missing teens or a man they may have been with. “We’ve had our share of troubles and woes, but this one is pretty bad,” Okmulgee County...

A potentially dangerous tornado outbreak threatens a region covering around 25 million people across the Deep South on Friday, with strong thunderstorms that could spawn intense tornadoes, damaging winds and large hail. Meanwhile, the potential for flash flooding extends into the Ohio Valley. The threat is particularly high in the lower Mississippi Valley – where supercells will be capable of producing EF-2 or stronger tornadoes, damaging wind gusts and large hail. “Favorable wind shear is all going to come together across the Southeast … where we again continue to track this threat of severe weather throughout the day on Friday,”...

I'm still flat on my back. The pressure sores that sent me to the hospital are almost healed, but still too painful for me to spend much time in my power chair, so I spend all my time in bed. The nurse says the wounds are now just superficial, and should be healed very soon. I do have a new spot on my bottom and on my back, but they haven't become sores yet. Hoping to spend more time in my chair each day until completely healed and to prevent more sores on my back. My hands and arms are...

At least 36 people have been injured - with some knocked unconscious - in a 'mass emergency' onboard a Hawaiian Airlines flight from Arizona after it encountered severe turbulence. Passengers were nearing the end of their seven hour flight from Phoenix to Honolulu on Sunday morning when anyone who wasn't wearing their seatbelt was thrown out of their seats. It's believed 11 people were seriously hurt, including several children and a 14-month-old baby. Those hurt onboard include both passengers and flight attendants working on Flight 35. They sustained a variety of injuries, including serious head injuries, cuts and bruises when...

Three main factors are contributing to the dangerous situation on the coast. Nicole’s storm surge, which peaked at around 6 feet Thursday morning, is significant because of how massive the storm was as it approached Florida on Wednesday, with tropical-storm-force winds stretching for more than 500 miles. That storm surge pushed ashore on top of exceptionally high tides associated with this week’s full moon. And behind it all, sea level in this part of Florida has risen more than a foot in the past 100 years, according to data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and most of that...

Hoo boy! It sure is good to be home! I don't know exactly what hit me, but I was hit hard. The last thing I remember is I was in a lot of pain from my pressure sore, then Chris put me to bed. The next thing I remember, I woke up in the hospital, a week later. I was in a dream world for several days. Kept coming in and out of the same bad dream. I didn't eat or sleep for a week, then they finally got me to eat and drink liquids. They later told Chris that...

Search and rescue teams backed by the National Guard searched Friday for people missing in record floods that wiped out entire communities in some of the poorest places in America. Kentucky’s governor said 15 people have died, a toll he expected to grow as the rain keeps falling. “We’ve still got a lot of searching to do,” said Jerry Stacy, the emergency management director in Kentucky’s hard-hit Perry County. “We still have missing people.” Powerful floodwaters swallowed towns that hug creeks and streams in Appalachian valleys and hollows, leaving vehicles in useless piles, crunching runaway equipment and piles of debris...

The story starts during September of 2021. Started feeling weak, a type of weakness I now know is nothing to mess with. Finally on 11/3 went to family doctor who ordered immediate blood work. Hemoglobin low enough (5.2) they called me to go to the ER. Had a unit of blood locally then on to Fort Wayne for more. Spent a day getting hemoglobin up then a day cleaning out for testing. We’d always used Cologuard but probably should have done more. 11/6 was a Saturday went in for colonoscopy and endoscopy. Had a tumor on colon high up on...
