In the video, Sowell shares what makes him think that society as we know it might be doomed. He uses the example of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Sowell points out that people are so stupid that they called Kirk a fascist when all he did was talk to people and try to convince them of his ideas, while noting that it is fascists who shoot and kill people.
