For many if not most of your liberal friends (that is if you have any left) the world has just come to an end. Many are either in a state of deep depression, even deeper denial or worse. This is especially true of your older friends who were so looking forward to seeing the sun set on their lives under a Democrat president – proof that there was indeed a God that they could meet as they took that last step towards eternity. Your younger friends are suffering from a similar depression, but theirs will subside more quickly as they...

The new director of the Defense Department’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) is scheduled to meet with lawmakers in closed-door and open sessions Tuesday to discuss his organization’s activities investigating “unidentified anomalous phenomena” that have raised national security concerns. The hearing with the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities comes on the heels of the release of the Pentagon’s fiscal 2024 consolidated annual report on UAP. UAP, an acronym that refers to unidentified anomalous phenomena, is a modern term for UFOs and mysterious transmedium objects. AARO leader Jon Kosloski told DefenseScoop and other reporters last week that...

And MAGA, on the other hand, makes people happy. I’m not much of a spontaneous laugher, but the explosion of videos with people doing the “Trump Dance” just cracks me up. When President Trump started showing off a few of his signature moves during the 2020 campaign, I thought the whimsical addition to his rallies provided a bit of levity to an otherwise stressful time, during which COVID dominated the headlines. Then I noticed that college-aged social media users had adapted Trump’s routine into a game similar to Dance Dance Revolution. Trending videos on YouTube and TikTok highlighted young people...

A California high school girls volleyball team forfeited its state playoff match because its opponent "has a male athlete playing for their team," the school said. Stone Ridge Christian High School, located in Merced, was set to play San Francisco Waldorf in the Northern California Division 6 tournament. San Francisco Waldorf had a bye into the semifinals as it was the No. 1 seed in its bracket. Stone Ridge Christian defeated North Hills Christian. On Friday, Stone Ridge Christian officials said in a statement it will not play against San Francisco Waldorf. "As many of you know, our girls won...

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) introduced a bill on Monday that would force “members, officers, and employees of the House” to use bathrooms that correspond to their biological sex. The bill noted that “allowing biological males into single-sex facilities, such as restrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms designed for women, jeopardizes the safety and dignity of Members, officers, and employees of the House who are female.”

President Vladimir Putin has updated Russia’s nuclear doctrine, two days after his US counterpart Joe Biden granted Ukraine permission to strike targets deep inside Russia with US-made weapons. Under the updated doctrine issued Tuesday, Moscow will consider aggression from any non-nuclear state – but with the participation of a nuclear country – a joint attack on Moscow. In a phone call with reporters Tuesday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted the changes mean that “the Russian Federation reserves the right to use nuclear weapons in the event of aggression using conventional weapons against it and/or the Republic of Belarus.” “An important...

WALDORF, Md. - A second-grader at C. Paul Barnhart Elementary School in Charles County was allegedly injured in a school bathroom incident, prompting his parents and advocacy groups to demand answers. The incident occurred on Friday, Nov. 15, when two boys were in a school bathroom. One of the boys, a second-grader, ended up with the back of his jacket stuck on a hook in a bathroom stall. He began having trouble breathing and the other student ran to the office for help. The principal freed the boy and called 911. The boy’s parents and advocacy groups are questioning how...

Donald Trump's determination to conduct mass deportations of undocumented immigrants is very real, and he wants to start cracking down immediately. One of the ways he plans to do so is by declaring a national emergency that will enable him to use the military to help boot migrants out of the United States.

Donald Trump promised he's 'not looking for retribution' when he enters the White House in January despite vowing to throw his enemies in jail on the campaign trail. Despite the assurance, however, Trump pointed out he 'obviously' has the 'upper hand' and declared that he would draw the line after a certain amount of betrayal. 'I am not looking for retribution, grandstanding or to destroy people who treated me very unfairly, or even badly beyond comprehension,' he told Fox News Digital. 'I am always looking to give a second and even third chance, but never willing to give a fourth...

Union Theological Seminary held a “Drag Communion” event in their chapel, featuring drag performers presiding over the Lord’s Table while attendees were invited to dress in drag or any other “fabulous” way they saw fit. The event promised to explore the “queerness” of the Last Supper and other so-called “deep questions,” all while reducing the sacred act of Communion to a flamboyant costume party hosted by LGBTQ activists Marge Erin Johnson and Chad Manley. Participants were encouraged to strut into the chapel as though the Lord’s Supper were some cabaret sideshow in need of an audience. This is a spiritual...

“Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise” (Ephesians 5:15). Living wisely will set you apart from the world. Walking in wisdom is an element of the worthy walk that Paul has been describing since the beginning of Ephesians 4. He says in verse 1, “Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called” and then proceeds to describe this worthy walk with the following characteristics: It’s a humble walk (4:1-3), a united walk (4:4-16), a unique walk (4:17-32), a loving walk (5:1-7), an illuminated walk (5:8-14), and a wise...

The Democratic National Committee (DNC), the party that claims to champion workers’ rights, has left its own staff out in the cold. Permanent staffers were given a single day’s notice before being unceremoniously terminated—without severance. The DNC Staff Union took to X to air their grievances, stating, “One day’s notice, no severance—the DNC fights for workers, just not their own.” The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife. This is the same party that campaigns on workers’ rights, union support, and economic justice. Yet when it comes to their own, the rules apparently do not apply....

The final demise of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, at the hands of the powerful Assyrian Empire in 720 BCE, receives only a few terse passages in the Book of 2 Kings:Then the king of Assyria invaded all the land and came to Samaria; for three years he besieged it. In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria; he carried the Israelites away to Assyria. He placed them in Halah, on the Habor, the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes...From at least the ninth century BCE, the Northern Kingdom of Israel had...

Donald Trump never broke 50% job approval ratings in his first term, but he's smashing that barrier now... and the Senate had better pay attention. He's not in office, so the visible job he has is largely putting together his cabinet and establishing his strategy, but voters are loving it. 54% approve, and only 40% disapprove. This indicates that a substantial portion of voters who voted against him are warming up to him. https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/HHP_Nov2024_KeyResults.pdf A high initial approval rating normally doesn't mean much more than some of the people who voted against a new president are hopeful that the unfamiliar...
