James Woods @RealJamesWoods To my friends in the Republican Party: If your patriotism is genuine, not all bluff and bluster, let loose the dogs of war. Because true patriots will no longer stand to see our rights trampled by the DNC and its slimy cronies in media and the bowels of government. #Twitter

“More to come from the Biden team,” was one message on Oct. 24. Another one was: “An additional report from the DNC.” The response back from Twitter: “Handled these.” The Democrat fluffers instantly shut down the Post’s Twitter account. They cancelled the White House press secretary’s. They’d already banned President Trump. Anyone who tried to get around the bans was likewise cut off. This was an insurrection — the real insurrection. The First Amendment? Democrats don’t need no stinkin’ First Amendment! All of Twitter’s multi-millionaire conspirators came from the same fabulously pampered backgrounds — including membership in multiple protected classes...

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — An Oklahoma state lawmaker filed two bills in one week with opposing goals. One bill filed by State Rep. Jim Olsen (R-District 2) would lower the age for buying and carrying guns to 18. The other would raise the age for receiving gender-affirming care to 21. Rep. Olsen told NewsChannel 8 he’s a Constitutionalist. He claimed the Founding Fathers would want 18-year-olds to carry guns, but they wouldn’t feel the same about helping people change their biological sex. “You have, in the Constitution, specifically enumerated, your right to keep and bear arms,” he explained. “If you...

Apple has returned to advertising at its normal level on Twitter, according to Elon Musk, who also confirmed Apple is Twitter's biggest ad client. During a Twitter Spaces conversation caught by Bloomberg on Saturday, Musk said Apple has "fully resumed advertising on Twitter." Musk didn't say how much the advertising spend was for Apple, and didn't go much further on the topic, other than to say that Apple was...

Findings from the study showed around 87 percent of adults agree there is still stigma around HIV. At that, only half of those surveyed felt knowledgeable about HIV.

At 3 o'clock yesterday morning parts of two companies, numbering in all sixty men, belonging to the Eighth Pennsylvania Cavalry, under command of Capt. Forty out of the sixty escaped, and there is reason to believe that more of them will yet return. Capt. WILSON is...

Anthony Strain was desperate for another roommate. The 26-year-old from Pittsburgh is currently unemployed, $50,000 in debt, and falling behind on his gas and electricity payments. To provide "financial breathing room" and help shoulder their $800 monthly rent, Strain said he and his partner found another person to move in with them and help split the bills. "We wanted this system to minimize the average cost per person of living here," he said, adding that the trio splits the costs of rent, utilities, and subscriptions to streaming platforms. Strain isn't the only young American experiencing financial challenges right now. Amounts...

Iran has scrapped its morality police after more than two months of protests triggered by the arrest of Mahsa Amini for allegedly violating the country's strict female dress code, local media said Sunday. Women-led protests, labelled "riots" by the authorities, have swept Iran since the 22-year-old Iranian of Kurdish origin died on September 16, three days after her arrest by the morality police in Tehran. "Morality police have nothing to do with the judiciary" and have been abolished, Attorney General Mohammad Jafar Montazeri was quoted as saying by the ISNA news agency. His comment came at a religious conference where...

Eighty years ago, the Royal Australian Navy won its only Victoria Cross. It was awarded 78 years later, after decades of campaigning by a host of advocates, but primarily as a result of the dedication of Garry Ivory, one of Teddy’s nephews, and the tireless Guy Barnett, a veteran MP from Tasmania. For that was where the 18 year old Ordinary Seaman Sheean had hailed from, but it was north of faraway Darwin where he died, as the corvette HMAS Armidale sank under the torment of a host of Japanese aircraft, bombing, strafing and firing torpedoes. What sort of man was...

Is Elon Musk just trolling at this point? That’s a real possibility given who he’s chosen to give access to the now infamous “Twitter files” surrounding the censorship of the Hunter Biden story. It’s not that the reporters involved aren’t great at their jobs. On the contrary, they are excellent choices in that regard. Rather, it’s the hysterical reactions they elicit. First came Matt Taibbi, who spent Friday evening posting revelations from the document dump. Naturally, he was excoriated by his leftwing colleagues who feel Americans are too stupid to have unfettered access to information. Now, Musk is upping the...

Biden admin claims racial discrimination in college is needed for “national security.”.. The Supreme Court may be on the verge of ending the last vestige of systemic racism. Affirmative action faces its acid test in Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina. At stake is the system of racial discrimination imposed on Asian and white students by Harvard and the University of North Carolina. How could the Biden administration possibly justify racial discrimination in college admissions? National security. In the Biden era, a woke military brass insists that everything is national security, from critical race theory to abortion,...

Today my long-awaited energy storage paper was officially published on the website of the Global Warming Policy Foundation. Here is a link. The paper is 22 pages long in the form in which they have published it plus another few pages for an Executive Summary and table of contents. They have given it the title “The Energy Storage Conundrum.” Most of the points made in the paper have been made previously on this blog in one form or another. However, there is a good amount of additional detail in the paper that has never appeared here. I’ll provide one example...
