"And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God." California has already set itself up for future energy failures by banning the sale of new gas-powered cars starting in 2035. But now, the state has set a deadline to eliminate commercial diesel trucks as well. California is preparing to ban the sale of commercial diesel trucks by 2040 and require trucks entering ports and rail yards to be zero-emission vehicles by 2035. Some companies, such as Walmart and Amazon, would have until 2042 to convert their trucks to electric. California does not have the infrastructure to support such a plan, according to Chris Shimoda, the vice president of the...

When Ron DeSantis is consulting renowned experts about whether or not to run for president in 2024, the man he is most likely to listen to is President Chris Christie. Well, not literally listen. He’ll instead learn from the potential prezzy who ended up presiding in network green rooms instead of the White House because he declined to run when he had his big – well, everything about him is big – chance in 2012. The Gov will also look to the lessons of President Mario Cuomo. These two guys hesitated and missed their window, just like there are some...

DESPERATE Russians are frantically attempting to flee the country to avoid being catapulted to the frontline amid Putin's call up. Huge queues have built at the borders with Finland, Georgia and Mongolia as tens of thousands try to escape being sent into the tyrant’s “meatgrinder”. Protest erupted in 38 cities after Putin announced a partial mobilisation in a TV address to bolster crumbling efforts in Ukraine. But they have been met with baton-wielding cops, with at least 1,386 people arrested. As the fear of conscription ripples through Russia, some men have been hauled out of bed in the middle of...

The Toyota electric sedan will begin its journey in China, with European sales likely to follow in 2024. Toyota has made it clear time and time again that it has no interest in rushing into fully electric cars. However, it will listen to its customers and follow the market's needs. In order to chip away at some of Tesla's growing market share in China and Europe, the Japanese automaker is ready to bring its fully electric sedan to market. As Toyota slowly moves forward with EVs, it has developed its own proprietary global platform that's designed for electric cars from...

The same petulant Washington Post columnist who became notorious for doxxing the user behind the Libs of TikTok Twitter account and misrepresenting her dealings with two YouTube content creators is back whining about “harassment” on social media. The Post’s in-house crybully columnist Taylor Lorenz released a new victim piece with a headline that reeked of hypocrisy: “YouTube remains rife with misogyny and harassment, creators say.” Lorenz wielded a YouTube-focused book by Bloomberg technology reporter Mark Bergen to claim “[W]omen creators” were “dealing with vicious harassment, bullying, and stalking,” channeling similar language she used to whine that MSNBC didn’t correctly address...

The nation is grappling with multiple domestic crises. The baby formula shortage is an ongoing pickle that the Biden administration has yet to resolve. The same lethargic and non-committal resolve could be applied to the lagging economy and the soaring inflation plaguing America’s working families. We’re approaching the end of the 2022 midterm cycle, and the economy is in recession. There are whole schools of fish that are bigger to fry, but some reporters at The Washington Post have this unhealthy obsession with the owner behind the Libs of Tik Tok account on Twitter

The suicide on Sept. 18 of an unidentified woman who had sought asylum at a shelter in New York, one of 180 cities and counties with so-called sanctuary policies that have received an influx of illegal aliens from border states in recent weeks, highlights the unpreparedness of municipal officials for the consequences of their stated positions on immigration, experts say. In the scramble to avoid blame, some officials have pointed their finger at the governors of Florida, Texas, and other states who are simply acting in accordance with the policy of offering sanctuary to those who cross borders into the...

VIDEO AT LINK................ Even if you're watching this in the morning, it is truly a masterpiece. It wouldn't solve the differences that are fracturing America right now, but I think it might do us all good if we just put those two men in a room together and watched them talk unscripted for an hour. It would be the highest-rated TV of the year! 😂😂😂 P.S. Now check out our latest video: "Highlights from Biden's speech last night" 👇

President Joe Biden's latest anti–free speech crusade would require groups that run political ads to dox donors. Biden is backing the Democracy Is Strengthened by Casting Light on Spending in Elections (DISCLOSE) Act, which senators are expected to vote today on whether to take up. "Right now, advocacy groups can run ads on issues attacking or supporting a candidate right until Election Day without exposing who's paying for that ad," Biden said on Tuesday. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D–N.Y.) called the DISCLOSE Act "critical to fighting the cancer of dark money in our elections." But many see the measure...

Scott Adams's syndicated comic strip Dilbert has been poking fun at the idiosyncrasies of office culture for 33 years. But earlier this month, Adams made an announcement on his podcast "Real Coffee with Scott Adams" that he was going to make a hard run at taking on the new corporate ESG ratings. https://dilbert.com/strip/2022-09-12 Regarding ESG, Adams says, "It should start to become known that Dilbert thinks it's ridiculous and then people who also think it's ridiculous will start retweeting it. And then the boss who's in charge of it will start to get these sent to him by email or...

The arrival of 50 Venezuelan migrants on the exclusive holiday island of Martha's Vineyard was met with an outpouring of concern by local people. A GoFundMe entitled 'Urgent plea to help Martha's Vineyard migrants' was set up by a New York PR executive, Sarah Goulet. The fundraiser generated $43,000 - but the money was given not to the migrants but to a local non-profit with a $16 million fund. The money was given to 'the MV Community Foundation, to distribute to the organizations with the most need,' the GoFundMe stated.

Pennsylvania Democratic Senate nominee John Fetterman shared a text reportedly sent by accused philanderer Adam Levine to mock his GOP opponent Mehmet Oz. (See it below.) An Instagram model alleged this week that the married Maroon 5 frontman carried on an affair with her. Levine admitted he crossed the line, but denied sexual involvement. Then provocative messages from Levine emerged that were directed at other women. In one of them, Levine purportedly expresses his desire for the woman’s derriere ― and Fetterman converted that into commentary on Oz’s campaign.
