As a physician I know the importance of finding the right treatment for individual patients and helped Kentuckians get the treatment they needed. While government bureaucrats insisted on more lockdowns, masks, and one-size-fits-all policies I focused on options for Kentuckians.

It’s fair to call Rand Paul a practicing physician. I think he spends some of his senate recess times traveling to Central America areas to do optofalmic surgeries for persons in remote areas. Charity thing.
A past senator from Oklahoma I believe, did similar surgical trips to Central America.
