The arrival of 50 Venezuelan migrants on the exclusive holiday island of Martha's Vineyard was met with an outpouring of concern by local people. A GoFundMe entitled 'Urgent plea to help Martha's Vineyard migrants' was set up by a New York PR executive, Sarah Goulet. The fundraiser generated $43,000 - but the money was given not to the migrants but to a local non-profit with a $16 million fund. The money was given to 'the MV Community Foundation, to distribute to the organizations with the most need,' the GoFundMe stated.

Remember when Steve Bannon was charged with misuse of charity funds when he said $100 percent would go to the charity but in actuality some of the money went to salaries of the charity employees?
But it’s fine when money collect by beautiful people for migrants is instead given to beautiful people.

One of the dumbest mistakes I continue to make is not running multiple GoFundMe grift accounts.
I know people are scamming the s**t outta that site.
If you ever visit the Vineyard and there are Marthas walking around, keep one hand on your wallet. Have your wife leave her purse locked up and hidden in the car.
GiveSendGo is right wing and Christian and only keeps the processing percentage necessary to stay running.
Their “profits” are entirely determined by those who kick in a few bucks over their donation to a cause.
I use them for my dog’s cancer fund and they are wonderful, plus, they have prayer chains.

Why didn’t they hire them as maids grounds keepers and cooks? I bet there are many jobs for them. Build some shacks for them to live in and some schools for their children?
