h4>LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Former President Donald Trump ripped current President Joe Biden for selling nearly a million barrels of oil from the United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve to a Chinese company linked to his son Hunter Biden, calling the move “terrible” in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News here on Friday night. The revelation that Biden sold oil from the official United States reserves to foreign countries, “one of which is China,” as Trump noted in the interview, rocked the news last week, leading several Republicans to demand an investigation into what happened. Trump had rebuilt the supply in the...

Actor John Cusack took to Twitter on Monday to call on U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to resign, claiming Garland is “sleepwalking us into fascism” because he hasn’t brought criminal charges against former President Donald Trump. “Ag garland must resign,” Cusack wrote. The Hot Tub Time Machine star was responding to leftist and former NBA player Rex Chapman, who tweeted “The former president of the United States of America knew there were armed protesters at his rally on January 6th — and he wanted to go with them to the Capitol, in order to stop the certification of an election...

Following the leak of the opinions from SCOTUS, protests mounted in front of the homes of conservative Justices of the Supreme Court. Brett Kavanaugh's home was among them. The protests were an effort to intimidate Kavanaugh into backing away from the potential reversal of Roe vs Wade. Once the decision to overturn Roe, Kavanaugh's home was again the target of protest. The other night Kavanaugh was harassed while eating dinner at Morton's Steak House and forced to flee out the back door. All are illegal under Federal Law. Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration...

How could a ship come to rest on desert sands so far from salt water? One explanation holds that an exceptionally large tide from the Gulf of California may have collided with an exceptionally heavy runoff from the Colorado River at the delta, producing a flood which broke through the land barrier to the Salton Sea. The cresting waters could have carried a ship over the natural dam and down into the Salton Sea basin. The flood would have then retreated, leaving the vessel stranded.

The United Nations quietly removed an old op-ed from its website after the article went viral for claiming that hunger “has great positive value to many people.” The UN claimed the article was “satire,” directly contradicting comments the author made to MRC Business via email.

We have already looked at a few of the important top-line problems with Joe Biden's standing in the new New York Times/Sienna College poll. But here's one that seems to show up in a lot of polls lately: The youngest voters in this poll are also the sourest on Biden. When asked whether they approve of how Biden is handling his job as president, a striking 69% of respondents aged 18-29 said they "somewhat" or "strongly disapprove." Only 1% (!) in that age group said they "strongly approve" of Biden's job performance, and he has a combined 19% approval rating...

CNN host Fareed Zakaria slammed the Biden administration for its “toothless” economic war against Russia that is making its oligarchs rich while the West becomes poorer and more dependent on Russian energy.

A Research Square study of two adjacent North Dakota school districts, one of which mandated student masking and one of which did not, found “no significant difference” in Covid-19 case rates between the two. The researchers, who received funding from the University of Southern California, noted that “randomized data about the effectiveness of mask mandates in children is still entirely lacking.” Indeed, they wrote, “While observational studies of school mask mandates have had conflicting results, randomized studies have failed to detect an impact of masking on participants under 50 years of age.” These researchers, however, were fortunate enough to discover...

It was thought that humans were unique amongst mammals when it came to farming – but depending on how strict we are with definitions, it turns out we might not be alone when comes to tending the land to grow food. Scientists have discovered that pocket gophers (Geomys pinetis) also practice a form of agriculture. Measurements on a field containing burrows built by the little critters suggest they don't just harvest the longleaf pine roots that grow into their homes – they cultivate them. At hundreds of meters long, those winding tunnels are continuously modified and reworked. Not to mention...

CBS co-host Vladimir Duthiers noted that many found the comment 'incredibly offensive' First Lady Jill Biden took heat Monday for a short-sighted comment comparing Hispanics to "breakfast tacos" during the UnidosUS Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas, but one CBS host was sympathetic to the gaffe. "Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community, as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio, is your strength," she said Monday, praising UnidosUS President Raul Yzaguirre for his work....

The term "pedestrian" has a derogatory meaning because peasants walked while nobles were "equestrians" and rode horses. The industrial revolution eliminated this class difference, as it did so many others, by making car ownership available to the masses until eventually Herbert Hoover was able to boast that "Republican prosperity has reduced and increased earning capacity” to "put the proverbial 'chicken in every pot' and a car in every backyard to boot." Democrats have spent two generations trying to get those cars out of every backyard. Biden is trying to bring back Obama's mileage standards that were estimated to raise car...

We all like to think we're immune to scams. We scoff at emails from an unknown sender offering us £2 million, in exchange for our bank details. But the game has changed and con artists have developed new, chilling tactics. They are taking the personal approach and scouring the internet for all the details they can find about us. Scammers are getting so good at it that even cybersecurity experts are taken in. One of us (Oliver Buckley) recalls that in 2018 he received an email from the pro-vice chancellor of his university. "This is it, I thought. I'm finally...

After all the hoopla attending the moderate Republican acquiescence to Democrats' demands for Congressional action to thwart mass shootings, it turns out that Illinois—site of a seven-victim murder spree by Robert Crimo III on July 4th—already has the "assault weapons" ban and "red flag" laws that were so ostentatiously added in this "compromise legislation." Notwithstanding the fact that Illinois state law and Highland Park city ordinances are intended to bar dangerous people from obtaining and using assault weapons for mass murders, Crimo was able to legally buy an assault rifle. This was despite having several police visits to his home...

Pennsylvania could continue to work with a partnership headed by an Australian firm to replace nine major bridges across the state and maintain them for for 30 years. It just has to find another way to pay for the work now that adding tolls of $1 or $2 per vehicle is off the table. The state Department of Transportation continues to review how it will replace the bridges, which are estimated to cost $2.5 billion. They are considered economically important structures, but the state said it doesn’t have the funds to replace them. One possibility is that the state continues...

The New York Times' stock is down 40% in the past year, drawing the attention of former President Donald Trump on Tuesday."Wow! The Failing New York Times is really failing now: Down more than 40%, and heading lower. Fake news!" Trump wrote Tuesday on Truth Social.Trump's rebuke also comes after the Times managed to suggest Trump's 49% support in its latest poll for the top 2024 GOP presidential candidate means "half" of GOP voters were "ready to leave Trump behind."A look under the headline dripping with activism did not mention Trump is actually a 24-point favorite over his closest challenger,...

LeBron James says Brittney Griner's been in captivity for way too long without the U.S. bringing her home, so if he were the WNBA star, he'd question returning to America. Bron made the comments during a recent taping of "The Shop" ... when the conversation apparently turned to the incarcerated American hoops star. "Now, how can she feel like America has her back? I would be feeling like, 'Do I even want to go back to America?'" It's clear LeBron doesn't believe the U.S. is doing nearly enough to bring BG home. Of course, Griner was arrested in a Russian...

Research uncovered an increased risk of pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lung) up to six months after covid-19 infection, deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in the leg) up to three months, and a bleeding event up to two months. The study from Sweden was published by The BMJ. According to the findings, there is also a higher risk of events in patients with underlying conditions (comorbidities), patients with more severe covid-19, and during the first pandemic wave compared with the second and third waves. These results support measures to prevent thrombotic events (thromboprophylaxis), especially for high-risk patients,...

Editor’s Note: There are many ways in which I often disagree with Caitlin Johnstone. I absolutely respect her intellect and writing skill and most of the time I agree with her perspectives, but sometimes we diverge. On the issue of Ukraine, I agree with her wholeheartedly. Just as Americans woke up to the realities of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, opposing them eventually despite widely approving of them in the beginning, so too do I hope more Americans will realize we’re being sold a false narrative in order to get our dollars and potentially our troops over to one of...

On May 29, 2022, in Istanbul and other cities in Turkey, elaborate celebrations were held to commemorate the 569th anniversary of the Islamic conquest of Constantinople in 1453. During these neo-Ottoman celebrations, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declared that “As our ancestors buried Byzantium, let us hope that today, by building our vision for 2053, we also manage to put in the time warp of history the current Byzantines who are plotting against us.” In order to understand the troubling significance of this otherwise cryptic remark—most Westerners are today totally unaware of the history between Muslim Turkey and Christian Byzantium—some background...
