The oligarchs on Facebook’s oversight board released their first annual report, shedding light on the company’s bloated censorship operation. The Meta Oversight Board’s annual report revealed it received “more than a million appeals” on the company's “content moderation decisions” between October 2020 and December 2021. More than 8 in 10 of user appeals to restore content involved Meta’s so-called “rules on bullying, hate speech or violence & incitement.” The number of appeals totaled a whopping 1,152,181. Scientists have unearthed an Inca-era tomb under a home in the heart of Peru’s capital, Lima, a burial believed to hold remains wrapped in cloth alongside ceramics and fine ornaments. The lead archeologist, Julio Abanto, told Reuters the 500-year-old tomb contained “multiple funerary bundles” tightly wrapped in cloth.
