Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, a longtime diplomat and Democratic Party insider, is scheduled on Thursday to have her nomination advanced to the full Senate by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. But Bagley’s comments about Jewish money in politics—tropes long considered anti-Semitic in nature—are raising red flags among Democratic and Republican members of the committee, senior congressional sources told the Washington Free Beacon.Bagley, in a 1998 interview, a full copy of which was obtained by the Free Beacon, bemoaned "the influence of the Jewish lobby because there is major money involved." She went on to claim "the Democrats always tend to go...

Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R) took to the nationally syndicated "Rick & Bubba Show" to commemorate the upcoming 50th anniversary of Title IX, which he credits for the expansion of female sports at the grade school through collegiate levels. Alabama's junior U.S. Senator warned the Biden administration was poised to water down Title IX in the name of promoting transgender athletes, which he argued would be detrimental to women's sports. However, Tuberville also said the NCAA, the governing body of collegiate sports, could show leadership in preserving Title IX as it is currently constituted, but will not.

Listen to the words of Jonah: “For you cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the floods surrounded me; all your billows and your waves passed over me. … The waters surrounded me, even to my soul; the deep closed around me. … The earth with its bars closed behind me forever” (Jonah 2:3-6, NKJV). Jonah had hit rock bottom, entombed in the belly of a whale. He was in a battle for his life and filled with despair, shame and guilt. He was heavy of heart, literally as low as a person could get....

“‘What man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!’” (Matthew 7:9–11). If we claim to be God’s children, we should be reflecting God’s character in our lives. Jesus here shows us something of what our heavenly Father’s love is like. Jesus...

Bill Barr, two-time attorney general and one of approximately 2.5 members of the Trump administration to leave with his reputation intact, has also written one of only two books about that administration worth reading, “One Damn Thing After Another.” I’ve read ‘em all. At least partially. Most did not merit more than a quick skim. [For those interested, the other book about the Trump administration worth reading is Michael Wolfe’s “Fire and Fury,” but judging by its sales, you probably already have this book.] I’ve been a fan of Barr’s since long before he worked for Trump, and was thrilled...

Two congressional Democrats conceded that voters don't care about the Jan. 6 committee hearings, according to a reporter who spoke with them. Politico national correspondent Betsy Woodruff Swan shared what she heard as Capitol Hill gears up for the 2022 midterm elections during a segment Wednesday on the streaming service NBC News NOW. The exchange took place as the Jan. 6 committee is in the midst of holding a slate of summer hearings in which members are working to tie former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election results to the Capitol riot. “Does the Jan. 6 hearing...

The ballroom at the Mandarin Oriental brimmed with women in power suits, patiently awaiting the keynote panel of the nonprofit All In Together’s “Black Women Lead” event last week. April Ryan, a veteran White House correspondent for The Grio, sat down to interview Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about her new position. “It is awesome to be outside of that press briefing room,” Ryan laughed. “Yeah,” Jean-Pierre said with a sigh, “it is.” Jean-Pierre took her seat just 20 days earlier, a new player at the table who found herself holding a weak hand. Voters are alarmed about inflation, baby formula...

Slippin’ Into Darkness! Despite what Biden and his muppets say, there is a good chance that the US will slip into recession over the next 24 months. And with that, we are seeing a slight drop in US mortgage rates. Inflation is surging, and The Fed seems intent on “inflation fighting” but may have to pause that fight the impending recession. This is called a “U-turn” although Powell didn’t mention that is his testimony yesterday. According to Mortgage News Daily, the 30-year fixed dropped below 6% to 5.88%. Europe is signaling their u-turn to recession fighting as 10-year sovereign yield...

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell informed a House committee today that either its interns don’t know how Google works or the Congresscritters are unaware real life isn’t like the Washington Post, where public temper tantrums usually bring about the desired staffing results. Goodell’s information impartation took place before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, which for reasons unbeknownst to all, save perhaps its members’ campaign managers, has assumed upon itself the role of overseeing and reforming NFL team owners, specifically Washington Redskins Commanders owner Dan Snyder. Who could most likely use some oversight and reform, but since Congress has solved...

With the current restrictions limiting entrance to L the interior of Yellowstone, it’s important to be able to access adventure outside the park gates… Luckily, with all the wilderness that surrounds the world’s first national park, that’s not hard to do. Park Junkie & his buddy Clint head toward Silvertip Peak, only to have their efforts thwarted by the raging waters of the North Fork of the Shoshone River. A quick change of plans sent the duo to the top of adjacent Crow Peak, in search of an ancient arrow that points toward a Native Medicine Wheel, hundreds of miles...

Truth is the way out of chaos To Journalist Tucker Carlson Hello, Tucker. I am 13 years old and I live in Lugansk. I think many people from the American authorities do not even know where it is, but they continue to supply weapons to Ukraine for the war with Russia. For a week now, Ukrainian artillery has been mercilessly shelling Donetsk, killing civilians in the Donbass. It’s one thing to fight with the army, and another to just shoot guns at schools, kindergartens and sleeping residents. Many will say that this is deception and propaganda, but it is not...
