As the first statements coming off now concluded for the day Russia-Ukraine ceasefire talks trickle out, both Interfax and Reuters are reporting the potential for a major breakthrough, as Russia’s Defense Ministry has said it’s seeking to create conditions for dialogue towards halting military activity around the capital of Kiev and major northern city of Chernihiv. The New York Times suggests this possible overture comes as Russian forces are facing stiff resistance near the capital, as also yesterday Ukraine said it retook the major Kiev suburb of Irpin. “Diplomats from Ukraine and Russia were discussing a possible cease-fire on Tuesday...

California’s first-in-the-nation task force on reparations is at a crossroads, with members divided on which Black Americans should be eligible for compensation as atonement for a slave system that officially ended with the Civil War but reverberates to this day. Some members want to limit financial and other compensation to descendants of enslaved people while others say that all Black people in the U.S., regardless of lineage, suffer from systemic racism in housing, education and employment. The task force could vote on eligibility on Tuesday after putting it off last month.

There are a lot of smart and important conversations that still need to be had in the United States about critical social issues like race. One Florida man in a Popeye’s was not interested in having any of those important conversations but was more than happy to pipe off with his thoughts about race. Specifically, his thoughts about Black people...... In the video, the customer, 32-year-old Colton Norsworthy, appears to be upset with the Popeye's employees and claims that the employee holding the camera called him a cracker. After Norsworthy claimed that the employee called him a cracker, the manager...

Will Smith has finally issued a real apology for his atrocious behavior at the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday. Read: “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,” said Smith’s statement. “My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.” “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris,” he added. “I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not...

Shocking! 10 Everyday Items That Are More Expensive Than Gasoline By Len Penzo I drove by the corner gas station today, as I do everyday on my way home from work, and I couldn’t help but notice that the price of gasoline rose another few cents over the weekend. This time the sign was unapologetically advertising a price of $4.619 per gallon. You know, I hate that sign. Some days I feel like it is taunting me — especially the ones when I have no choice but to pull into the station and fill ‘er up. “I’ve read your blog,...

Neocon and rabid anti-Trumper Bill Kristol has been getting torched on social media for comparing President Joe Biden’s dangerous call for a regime change in Russia to former President Ronald Reagan’s iconic “tear down this wall” speech. “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power,” Biden said of Russian leader Vladimir Putin during his speech in Poland. While world leaders criticized the president’s remarks, with French President Emanuel Macron saying it could lead to a breakdown in peace negotiations, Bill Kristol hailed it as a historic moment on par with Reagan. Kristol was joined by several other pro-Biden figures...

If you have been following the saga of Hunter’s Laptop from Hell, you will know that we are now in Phase Two of the coverup. In Phase One you were told that the laptop was the creation of the Russians designed to sabotage Joe Biden’s campaign for President. That lie has now collapsed, so in Phase Two we are being told that whatever Hunter was up to, it has nothing to do with Joe. Hunter may have spent his time up to his eyeballs in hookers and blow and kept company with a lot of unsavory characters, but Joe knew...

On Monday, CNN’s “New Day” ran a five-minute segment touting how U.S. Supreme Court justice nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson was inspiring “a generation of women” with her hairstyle. Network correspondent Adrienne Broaddus opened her report by saying, “Judge Jackson isn’t only changing the image of justice but the image of beauty.” Broaddus’ report then highlighted Jackson’s confirmation hearings which a hairstylist and her customer in Chicago described to CNN as “empowering” and “inspiring.” “If confirmed, Jackson becomes the first black woman serving as a justice,” Broaddus said in a voice-over. A Chicago mother told CNN, “It’s almost like one of...

The ongoing analysis of the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s laptop has revealed that there are multiple Department of Defense “encryption keys” on it. These keys allow access to DOD email accounts and databases. The exact number of these keys is still unknown. There may be dozens. The keys are known more formally as “root encryption certificates." Some of them appear to have unusually long expiration dates with many lasting twenty years or more. Such keys should not be present on a personal laptop of any kind, and there is no known reason that Hunter Biden would be in possession...

I guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. No, wait—that’s not how it’s supposed to go. I guess I picked the wrong year to give up on the Academy Awards. What are the odds that next year’s Academy Awards will be co-hosted by Will Smith and Chris Rock? Because there’s no way the Motion Picture Academy will try the only other host who could bring back viewers: Ricky Gervais. The dilemma is obvious: if they did pick Gervais to host, no Hollywood celebrities would show up. They’d just head straight to the after-parties. In any case, the...

“I think we should know that answer,” America’s 45th president says. VIDEO AT LINK............... Former President Donald Trump is calling on Russian leader Vladimir Putin to release any information he possesses on Hunter Biden’s dealings with oligarchs in Eastern Europe. In an interview with the Just the News television show on Real America’s Voice airing Tuesday, the former president cited a 2020 Senate report that disclosed Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina, then the wife of Moscow's mayor, provided $3.5 million a decade ago to a company co-founded by President Joe Biden’s son and unanswered questions about why the money was given....

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Russia's demand that some buyers pay for its gas in roubles has raised concerns in Germany, which relies on Russian fuel, that the payment dispute could escalate and disrupt supplies. Russia accounted for 55% of Germany's gas imports in 2021. Although that figure fell to 40% in the first quarter of 2022, Economy Minister Robert Habeck has said Germany will not achieve full independence from Russian supplies before mid-2024. If Germany does not secure enough gas, industry will be hit first. It accounts for a quarter of German gas demand. "This means that industrial production gets lost,...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday submitted a $5.79 trillion budget plan to Congress that calls for record peacetime military spending and further aid for Ukraine, while raising taxes for billionaires and companies and lowering government deficits. Biden told reporters his administration is “making real headway cleaning up the fiscal mess I inherited”, and will reduce the federal deficit by more than $1.3 trillion this year with $1 trillion in further cuts planned over the next decade. “For most Americans the last few years were very hard, stretching them to the breaking point. But billionaires and large corporations...
