Why Did Hunter Biden Have DOD Encryption Keys On His Laptop?
AND Magazine ^ | 27 Mar, 2022 | Sam Faddis

The ongoing analysis of the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s laptop has revealed that there are multiple Department of Defense “encryption keys” on it. These keys allow access to DOD email accounts and databases. The exact number of these keys is still unknown. There may be dozens.

The keys are known more formally as “root encryption certificates." Some of them appear to have unusually long expiration dates with many lasting twenty years or more. Such keys should not be present on a personal laptop of any kind, and there is no known reason that Hunter Biden would be in possession of them at all.

The keys were discovered only recently by Jack Maxey’s technical team working in Switzerland. Shortly after the discovery of the keys Maxey contacted the U.S. Embassy in Switzerland and reported that he had information that might compromise American national security and would like to talk to someone in the Regional Security Office to report what he had learned. His contact information was taken by the person with whom he spoke, but no one has ever called back to obtain the information in his possession.

According to information provided to Maxey, DOD is now aware of the presence of the keys on the laptop’s hard drive, has determined that the keys were still active, and has taken steps to cancel them.

Was Joe funneling classified information for Hunter to sell to our adversaries?

I cant help but think Trumps kids would already be in jail for the rest of their lives if their laptops were found to contain this type of stuff.

Am I mixing up my technologies? You need stored security certificates to gain and maintain secure sessions with secure resources, but even if you have them, you still need authentication. Just having the keys themselves to get you in, no?

If these work like trusted certificates, then it is really just a footprint. It doesn’t necessarily mean that he accessed anything, but it certainly means he was capable of it, and more importantly, some premeditation by someone was created for him to.

Seems like it’s just a tiny tip of a huge iceberg

My memory on this topic is a bit fuzzy as I was around the accessing of critical data every day, but I didn’t deal directly with getting it. My recollection is you needed two things to get into a federal database. One was the encryption key. The other was something called a “dongle.” The dongle is a piece of hardware that had to be plugged into the computer while you were accessing data. It used a satellite link and referenced an atomic clock. As long as the dongle was present you could interface with the database or other critical system. But without it the encryption key by itself was useless. Now, if he had both and did not have a government job or contract requiring access to that particular part of the database then he was conducing espionage. Even if he never used it, he’d be going to prison...unless he has the Democrat-my-dad’s-vice=president get out of prosecution free card.

So, there is reason to suspect that Hunter Biden could be prosecuted for espionage

This might be something or it might be nothing. It really depends on which certs we’re talking about. There are plenty of publicly available root certs that allow you to validate the sender of emails from DoD sources or verify the security of public DoD web sites.

The only way to begin to fix anything is that this illegitimate election fraud administration needs to be prosecuted for their crimes and removed with the rightful winner put in charge.

The Constitution doesn’t say anything about how we have to keep in place a total fraud and criminal government when we actually know what they have done. Impeaching him does nothing because he didn’t win therefore making his whole admin a total fraud.

This is almost like giving the death sentence to the Republic. Three more years is not tolerable and is certain death.

He would need a security clearance, a Need To Know, basic access to government computer systems, and then the encryption keys for the databases.

It’s not at all clear why he would have any of that. Hunter does business with shady people all over the world, and this is basically espionage/foreign agent stuff if he’s accessing stuff he shouldn’t.

There's no way that this can be true. as that freak Pesaki recently pointed out Crack Addled Hunter doesn't work for the government. Although he did work for the Department of Defense for a while...but was fired.I think a drug test might have been involved!

The only question is how much was Joe’s cut?

This was likely more like the Clinton operation where they offered various ultra secret, code word, eyes only military secrets to the Chinese as shows of good faith and to increase payouts

If Hunter Biden had them, so does China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Ukraine, etc.

The Biden crime family should be in prison.

Several possibilities - none of them good.

One, he was outright selling classified information. Using the keys to decrypt information before passing it to adversaries.

Two, he was selling the keys themselves so that the buyer could use them to decrypt information.

Three, he was using them to decrypt information, and then using that information in business dealings for his (and Joe "the big guy" Biden's) profit. ie. major-league insider trading.

There is no plausible excuse for having these keys on personal IT equipment. None. These aren't pictures from your fishing trip with the guys. (or maybe more appropriate in Hunter's case his drugs/whoring trip with the guys) That got accidentally copied somewhere. These keys are useless for any other purpose - they are to access protected information. The kind of information Hunter has no need to know.

Why Hunter, Joe, and a whole host of other Bidens and their cohorts in crime are not behind bars I don't know. Heck, I don't understand how it is possible that Hillary and members Clinton Crime Inc. are still walking around free. It is plainly obvious to anyone who bothers to look - at a certain level, as long as there is a (D) associated with your name you can quite literally do anything you want and get away with it.

Will Hunter be prosecuted for this and or any of his other numerous, obvious crimes? Ha. Simians are more likely to achieve flight whilst leaving my rectum....

In a recent interview, Jack Maxey made sweeping allegations about Hunter and Joe Biden's criminal activity but was not specific except to say that Hunter Biden held and ownership position in the company that was producing prohibited substances in Ukraine and that Joe Biden profited from Hunter's activities.

Nevertheless, if a fraction of Maxey's generalized allegations are true, for example the allegations concerning unauthorized possession of "keys" to the secrets, he is liable for a lot of jail time especially if one adds the alleged photographs of underage girls, the crimes concerning his loss of a handgun, drug possession and his tax violations.

The accumulated packages so serious that one must expect that Joe Biden will grant his son a pardon because the political cost of issuing the pardon would be trivial compared to the potential impeachment and criminal liability that might attach to Joe if a full-blown prosecution of Hunter begins to unravel the whole corrupt family business.

I assume it would be a plenary pardon because it is difficult to even identify the universe of Hunter's crimes. However, if the pardon is plenary then Hunter would lose the right to claim self-incrimination and would be forced to testify. If some small element were withheld from a pardon to save that right for Hunter to protect Joe, the inquiring agency might cut a deal with a prosecutor to extend immunity to take away the privilege against self-incrimination.

All of this assumes that we will have some identifiable semblance of rule of law that will spontaneously flower like tulips in the spring and there might actually be a real-life prosecution of Hunter Biden.
