It was billed as a land of promise — a place where free Black Americans could obtain more political rights and a better quality of life. Liberia did not receive its name until 1824, but the territory that became its capital city was purchased on Dec. 15, 1821. Almost exactly 200 years later, a Liberian historian has discovered that original purchase agreement — a document missing since 1835 that sheds light on the acquisition of the only U.S. colony in Africa.

Dayglored comment: Remember, this is about Corporate Business computers, most of which are managed by corporate IT groups and the uptake of new software, especially a new operating system, is glacially slow, often only happening when new hardware is purchased. Even so, 0.21% is notably low. The uptake on consumer/personal/home computers is, of course, much faster because consumers buy new computers much more often, and are much more likely to upgrade to the latest-and-greatest OS. Doctors Vanden Bossche and Montagnier have warned us about vaccinating during a pandemic with heavy infectious pressure and the use of very narrow spike specific (an immature, sub-optimal, incomplete, immune library spectrum) yielding sub-optimal antibodies and possibly driving vaccine-mediated viral immune escape. I argue we are seeing just that now in the UK, Israel, and even the U.S. “It is clear that the new variants are created by antibody-mediated selection due to the vaccination,” Montagnier said. It is the vaccination and sub-optimal incomplete “unhinged and deranged” antibody responses that are driving the emergence of the variants. Is this why so...

ABSTRACT Our group has been using the PLUS Cardiac Test (GD Biosciences, Inc, Irvine, CA) a clinically validated measurement of multiple protein biomarkers which generates a score predicting the 5 yr risk (percentage chance) of a new Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). The score is based on changes from the norm of multiple protein biomarkers including IL-16, a proinflammatory cytokine, soluble Fas, an inducer of apoptosis, and Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF)which serves as a marker for chemotaxis of T-cells into epithelium and cardiac tissue, among other markers. Elevation above the norm increases the PULS score, while decreases below the norm lowers...

The $64 question for the US labor market is how close are we to full employment in a post-pandemic world? One way we can assess this topic is by looking at the current employment status of younger Americans. This cohort was disproportionately hurt after the Financial Crisis, particularly when it came to underemployment. It took a hot labor market and years of economic growth to incorporate them into the labor force and into positions that matched their skill levels. Did the Pandemic Recession cause the same problem all over again, or are we in a better spot now?#1: Here’s how...

Prices have been going up in a number of segments of the economy in recent months, and, as Visual Capitalist's Nick Routley exposes below, the public is taking notice. One indicator of this is that search interest for the term “inflation” is higher than at any point in the past decade.Recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics highlights rising costs across the board, and shows that specific sectors are experiencing rapid price increases this year.Where is Inflation Hitting the Hardest?Since 1996, the Federal Reserve has oriented its monetary policy around maintaining 2% inflation annually. For the most part, U.S....

GET WOKE, EMPTY THE PEWS It would be a full-time job to chronicle all of the irrational reactions by liberals to the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict, and scarcely worth the effort. But I do want to note one such response because it affects me directly: that of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The ELCA, of which my congregation is a member, sent out this “Pastoral Letter” authored by Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton. Here is the letter, titled “A pastoral message on the Rittenhouse acquittal,” with my comments interpolated: Dear church, In the book of Leviticus we read: “You shall not...

If you believe Anthony Fauci and the narratives being put forth by our government, mainstream media, Big Tech, academia, the healthcare industry, and all of Big Pharma’s puppets, you’ll either think the information in this article is fake or you’ll find some lame excuse to confirm your bias about the Covid-19 “vaccines.” But those who are not willfully steeped in a daily dose of Pandemic Panic Theater probably already know that Bangladesh is not an exception. It’s just the latest in a long string of data points that would shatter the mainstream vaccine narrative in a sane world. This is no...

CommentaryIn the first week of November, the United States was faced with a clear warning, the likes of which it hasn’t faced since the Cold War: the prospect of having to fight near simultaneous major wars in Europe and Asia.In March and April, Russia mobilized about 100,000 to 120,000 troops, plus supporting armor, artillery and missiles, near the Donbass regions contested by Russian-supported Ukrainian rebel forces and in the Ukrainian territory of Crimea. This was more than what Russia mobilized in 2014 to invade and occupy Crimea. The United States European Command raised its “watch level” to “potential imminent crisis.”Now in...

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Cali.) distributed a memo (pdf) to GOP lawmakers Thursday claiming that the expanded provisions in President Biden’s social spending bill will result in an additional 1.2 million IRS audits each year.Nearly 50 percent of the audits—over 583,000—would be targeted at families earning less than $75,000, and 25 percent—over 313,000—at those earning up to $25,000 per year. According to the memo penned by Republican members of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, $80 billion is allotted in mandatory funding towards the IRS, which will help in recruiting 87,000 new agents who will target Americans at...
