On June 25, NSP announced the deployment of a new technology system designed to detect safety issues with commercial vehicles traveling on I-80 near the Waverly and North Platte weigh stations. According to NSP, the new system “includes technology embedded in the pavement of I-80 that detects a flat tire on a commercial vehicle, while the vehicle is moving at interstate speeds. The system then flags that vehicle and requires the driver to exit at the weigh station for the flat tire to be addressed.” Also included with the technology upgrades is a camera system that can read license plates...

ust hours after New York City’s Board of Elections released ranked choice voting numbers showing a shrinking lead for mayoral contender Eric Adams, officials acknowledged a discrepancy in the ballot count. On the day of the primary, the BOE showed just under 800,000 votes with 96.6 percent of scanners reporting; numbers released Tuesday — accounting only for in-person votes — showed 941,832 votes: a large jump considering the percentage of uncounted votes just days ago. Adams’ campaign quickly questioned the numbers. “The vote total just released by the Board of Elections is 100,000-plus more than the total announced on election...

he cost of gasoline has reached a seven-year high, and gas stations are expect to run out of fuel during the July 4 weekend. The average national price for regular gas is priced at $3.10, the highest it has been since October 2014. The price is up 2% from Memorial Day and 42% from this time last year as COVID-19 pandemic restrictions brought demand to a near halt, according to CNN. "Today, 89 percent of U.S. gas stations are selling regular unleaded for $2.75 or more. That is a stark increase over last July 4 when only a quarter of...

Dear Sir and Madam, I read with great disgust your "Organization Strategic Plan to Embed Racial Justice and Advance Health Equity." Seldom have I read a more destructive, divisive, and inflammatory document by a professional organization, and I have never been more ashamed of being associated with the American Medical Association at any time in my career. The suggestion that our country owes anyone "equity" because of "past injustices" is revolting. My family arrived in this country in 1961. We have not been a party to any of the injustices that occurred so many decades ago, yet you hold my...

US Inflation is almost as hot as in Russia, but the Fed is still blowing it off. Consumer price inflation in Russia is red-hot, having jumped 6.0% in May compared to a year ago, 2 percentage points above the Bank of Russia’s target of 4.0%. Polls in Russia show that food inflation is a top concern, currently running at 7.4%.But inflation in the US isn’t lagging far behind: The Consumer Price Index (CPI) jumped 5.0% in May. Yet the central banks are on opposite tracks in their approach to inflation. Federal Reserve governors keep jabbering about this red-hot inflation being...

Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, the chief scientist at the World Health Organization (W.H.O.), warned Monday that the pandemic is not over and said it is not yet time to return to normal and “encourage a lot of social mixing.” Speaking to CNN on Monday, Swaminathan warned of the virus variants and emphasized the importance of realizing that the pandemic “is not over.” “Everyone should recognize that this pandemic is not over. … It’s not that we can’t travel or do anything, but this is really not the time for us to encourage a lot of social mixing, to encourage mass events,...

It takes some audacity for someone with a spotty voting record to ask you to cast a ballot for them. But that's what is going on in the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate. State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski — one of at least a half-dozen Dems vying for GOP Sen. Ron Johnson's seat — was hired in August 2016 as a deputy political director for Hillary Clinton's Wisconsin campaign. In that post, she traveled the state trying to round up support among women. "My birthday is the day after the election on Nov. 9," Godlewski wrote in a Facebook post...

At least 11 people were killed and over 150 are missing in the aftermath of the collapse of the Surfside beachfront condo. Recent reports have revealed there were warning signs before the building fell as engineers reported several issues with the structure, but a local building official told board members that the building was in "very good shape." Despite the new intel, CNN asked Granholm what role a changing climate could have had on the destruction. The secretary said she needed to wait to see the analysis of the current investigation into the building collapse, but said that we should...

"Mom, Joe and I have decided to live together," my strong-willed 23-year-old daughter announced defiantly at our dining-room table, her boyfriend at her side. Her words made my heart pound and my stomach churn. "Have either of you even thought about the possibility you could get pregnant?" My daughter looked sheepishly at her boyfriend, admitting they hadn't. The defiance swept over her face again and she replied, "Well, I don't care what you and Dad think. You'll just have to accept it." "We may have to tolerate it," I said firmly. "But we'll never accept it. You're going, against every...

During an appearance on CNN Tuesday evening, Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar doubled-down on her comments equating Israel and the United States to terror organizations or state sponsors of terror. When host Jake Tapper asked the congresswoman whether she regretted making the comparison, she responded, “I don’t.” “I think it’s really important to think back to the point that I was trying to make. Obviously, I was addressing Secretary of State Blinken. The cases are put together in front of the ICC, the ICC has been investigating…,” she continued. In the specific tweet that drew ire and backlash from Republican lawmakers,...

DOL and OSHA, as well as other federal agencies, are working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904’s recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward.

Researchers at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Wavsens LLC have developed a method for using radio signals to create real-time images and videos of hidden and moving objects, which could help firefighters find escape routes or victims inside buildings filled with fire and smoke. The technique could also help track hypersonic objects such as missiles and space debris. The new method, described in Nature Communications, could provide critical information to help reduce deaths and injuries. Locating and tracking first responders indoors is a prime goal for the public safety community. Hundreds of thousands of pieces of...

Internal Portland Public Schools documents provided to Fox News by a whistleblower show the district’s mandatory cultural competency teacher training is heavily steeped in Critical Race Theory with an emphasis on creating activists. Among the material being shown to students in third through fifth grades is an interview clip of author Sonya Renee Taylor saying, "Our society speaks racism. It has spoken racism since we were born. Of course you are a racist, of course." Another video being shown to kids as young as 8 years old features an actor reading from the book "Anti-Racist Baby," written by Ibram X....

Russian warplanes repeatedly flew low over a Dutch navy frigate in the Black Sea last week and carried out “mock attacks,” the Defense Ministry of the Netherlands said Tuesday. The incident involving the Dutch ship Zr. Ms. Evertsen happened last Thursday southeast of Crimea, the ministry said in a statement. It came a day after after Russia said one of its warships in the Black Sea fired warning shots and a warplane dropped bombs to force a British destroyer out of an area near Crimea that Russia claims as its territorial waters. Britain denied that account and insisted its ship...

Nothing says "let's try again" like hiring an assassin to drug your ex until they agree to rekindle the relationship. That is apparently what one neonatal doctor in Spokane, Washington thought, as he allegedly did just that. Ronald Ilg, 55, was arrested in April and is being charged in federal court for hiring a hitman over the internet to abduct his wife and imprison her in a "secure location" for a week, all the while dosing her with heroin. "The target destroyed two families and walked away as if she did nothing," the doctor allegedly wrote in his abductor job...

A divided Supreme Court on Tuesday denied a request to block a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention order that prohibits landlords nationwide from evicting certain tenants who fail to pay rent amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The court's order means the moratorium will remain in place until July 31. Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh joined with the court's three liberals to keep the moratorium in place. Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett said they would have granted the request.

It is just beyond belief to me that there are still people who actually believe that those in our Government like Mass-murderer Anthony Fauci, and the Fake President suffering from dementia, Joe Biden, are telling the truth. What evidence do you have that they have EVER said anything publicly that is true about COVID-19? But there it is. Fear mongering to get more people to sign up for the bioweapon shots, because now the “unvaccinated” will be blamed for this “new variant” which is neither “new” nor dangerous (if it exists at all). Here is a video analyzing how this...
