Both Israel and Hamas claimed victory in the recent conflict. At the protest, former Labour shadow chancellor John McDonnell said: "Yes, a ceasefire has been negotiated and we welcome a ceasefire. "But let's be clear, there will be no ceasefire in our campaign to boycott, disinvest and sanction the Israeli apartheid state. "The message is clear, we will not cease our campaign in solidarity until there is justice. "So let's make it clear, no justice, no peace." It comes as other protests are taking place across the capital, including an anti-racism protest to commemorate George Floyd, who died almost one...

New book claims Obama was a 'parasite' who sucked the Democratic Party dry to get reelected A "parasite" on the Democratic Party is how journalist Edward Isaac Dovere describes former President Obama in his forthcoming tell-all book "Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats' Campaign to Defeat Trump." In a chapter entitled "Benign Neglect," Dovere writes that the section’s namesake is how Obama aides privately described his abandonment of the Democratic Party once in the White House. "‘Negligence’ might be more accurate," Dovere, writer for The Atlantic and former chief Washington correspondent for Politico, writes. "The numbers are hard to...

Jack might have just shot himself in the foot. His completely unsubstantiated and baseless attack against Singh turned off a lot of people who were on the fence. Of course the hardcore Jack Pack cheered and jeered at the hundreds of primary voters telling him he was out of line. Singh never supported Obama. He said out of the four years Obama was president, he enjoyed one speech, perhaps his most popular speech that called for unity between Muslims and Christians worldwide. Jack never told us when or where Hirsh Singh called police officers terrorists, but it sounds good…who knows,...

A complex that houses a factory that makes Iranian drones has suffered a major explosion days after Israel had claimed that Iran was providing drones to Hamas in Gaza. The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Thursday showed the remains of what he described as an Iranian drone that was downed on Tuesday...

The US Federal Reserve took a step toward developing a digital currency as it announced plans to publish a research paper on the subject. The aim is to gather public comment and get the US play a "leading role" in the development of international standards, said Fed chairman Jerome Powell in a video message. "To help stimulate broad conversation, the Federal Reserve Board will issue a discussion paper this summer outlining our current thinking on digital payments, with a particular focus on the benefits and risks associated with CBDC in the U.S. context," Powell said. "As part of this process,...

The speaker of Iran's parliament said on Sunday a three-month monitoring deal between Tehran and the U.N. nuclear watchdog had expired and that its access to images from inside some Iranian nuclear sites would cease. The announcement raised further questions about the future of indirect talks under way between the United States and Iran on reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal... ...European diplomats said last week that failure to agree an extension would plunge the wider, indirect talks between Washington and Tehran on reviving the 2015 deal into crisis. Those talks are due...

She said: “They have to choose between paying the fuel meter or feeding their children. “I know someone that doesn’t...

The CDC provides an information page for those wishing to report having adverse events (negative reaction) following vaccination. VAERS - Report an Adverse Event (hhs.gov)Note the page, as of this writing includes a master list of vaccines and types of responses it considers 'reportable.' Note also that Covid is not listed among the reportable vaccines.VAERS_Table_of_Reportable_Events_Following_Vaccination.pdf (hhs.gov)This Table of Reportable Events Following Vaccination has never included Covid the entire administration of the Covid 'vaccines. I'm sure it was just an oversight. /sNo need to let the CDC discourage you, like it has no doubt (intentionally) discouraged so many others, from reporting...

Is the Dream of Cold Fusion Still a Possibility? By: Patrick J. Kiger | Jan 22, 2021 To some, it might seem as if investigating and re-investigating cold fusion is a waste of time and resources, but some scientists don't see it. Back in March 1989, at a press conference in Salt Lake City, scientists Stanley Pons of the University of Utah and Martin Fleischmann of Great Britain's University of Southampton made a startling announcement. The researchers had managed to fuse the atomic nuclei of a hydrogen isotope to create helium — the same sort of process that powers...

On Thursday, Oregon Health Authority began warning Oregon doctors to look for heart inflammation in anyone who has chest pain and has been recently been vaccinated, following six cases in Oregon and Washington. So far, OHA is telling physicians, this is an investigation into a possible link between myocarditis or pericarditis and the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, particularly in young people. No link has been established. OHA has not issued any public statements about a possible link between myocarditis, or heart inflammation, and COVID vaccines. But an email sent to doctors May 20 mentions six cases in the Pacific Northwest....

The shift in policy is a major blow for the more than 42 million Americans who have student loans.

The mayor of St. Louis says having more cops won't prevent crime, and she's used her first month in office to introduce controversial reforms including defunding the police. Tishaura Jones, who is the first black woman ever elected to serve as mayor of St. Louis, approved a $4million cut in the police budget as her city experienced the highest levels of violent crime in half a century last year. The 49-year-old Jones assumed office on April 20 after running on a platform that includes an end to St. Louis’ ‘arrest and incarcerate’ model of policing - even as her city...
