(Reuters) - Baseball fans packed the stands of Globe Life Field on Monday after the Texas Rangers opened their doors to 100% capacity, making the game the first North American sporting event without attendance restrictions since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The team said it was a sellout, with 38,238 in attendance under an open roof on a sunny day at the Arlington, Texas, stadium, the only one in baseball to allow full capacity after Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered the state to fully reopen last month. Television cameras showed most fans not wearing masks, which were required at...

“My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman" (Proverbs 6:20-24).

Bob Hope’s eldest child, Linda Hope — who worked with her father for many years — says her dad made it to the ripe old age of 100 because of sheer willpower. “He was determined to do that,” Linda told Page Six. “His grandfather lived to be just short of 100 so Dad’s goal was always to beat his grandpa. I think it kept him alive towards the end.” SNIP Linda, who produced the documentary “Bob Hope: The First 90 Years,” has now co-authored a book with Martha Bolton called “Dear Bob: Bob Hope’s Wartime Correspondence with the G.I.s of...

A game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies came to a brief halt on Friday, when a cat of unknown origin tried to live out its big league dreams. During the eighth inning, the cat made its first appearance — really more of a teaser — by running along a wall behind home plate. No one on the field seemed to notice.

It might have already happened if it wasn't for Brexit.Talks of a Tesla Gigafactory U.K. are back. The location would be in Somerset, England at a 635-acre smart campus called Gravity that’s currently under development.Minister of State for Business, Energy, and Clean Growth Kwasi Kwarteng said the government is considering the site for a Tesla Gigafactory. The minister believes the Somerset location will be able to sustain a Tesla Gigafactory. Gravity is a good candidate because it’s one of the few locations in England large enough to house a factory of that size. Not only that, it’s located near the...

For decades, John MacArthur has railed on prosperity preachers, likening them to “greed mongerers” who led First Century cults. Recently, he’s also taken aim at scandal-plagued evangelical leaders, like the late apologist Ravi Zacharias and former Hillsong Pastor Carl Lentz, saying these celebrities were in ministry only for the money. That’s why “liars and frauds and false teachers” are in business, MacArthur said in a recent sermon. “False teachers always do it for the same reason—filthy lucre, money.” Yet according to financial statements and tax forms obtained by The Roys Report, John MacArthur and his family preside over a religious...

According to a report, Major League Baseball (MLB) is expected to announce that they have decided to relocate the All-Star Game from Atlanta, Georgia, to Denver, Colorado. A person familiar with the situation revealed the decision to the Associated Press Monday night. MLB removed the All-Star Game from Atlanta after Georgia passed a series of voter reforms aimed at safeguarding the integrity of their elections. MLB and other corporations claimed that the new law acted as a “voter suppression” measure by shortening early voting periods and requiring ID. Putting the falseness of those claims aside, for a moment, one would...

A steady stream of research has shown vulnerable communities across the United States are impacted the most by the COVID-19 pandemic, and a new study uncovers a stunningly huge inequity among a specific group in California. Researchers at the University of Southern California found Hispanic immigrants of working age, that is 20 to 54-year-olds — are 11.6 times more likely to die of the virus than U.S.-born men and women who are not Hispanic. Looking at Hispanics of the same age who were both U.S.-born and foreign-born, the death rate was 8.5 times that of whites.

The man accused of trying to extort $25 million from Rep. Matt Gaetz’s family admitted Monday that he asked the congressman’s dad for cash — but denied that it was a shakedown. Bob Kent, an ex-Air Force intelligence officer, confirmed to Sirius Radio host Michael Smerconish that he approached the Florida Republican’s dad, Don Gaetz, for money last month. The funds, Kent said, were to pay for an effort to free Robert Levinson, a former FBI agent who disappeared in Iran in 2007, and is believed to be dead. Kent claimed he has video evidence that Levinson is still alive...

Biden’s administration is going out of its way to assure Ukraine’s government that the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have Kiev’s back in its growing confrontation with Russian-supported separatists and Russia itself. An April 2 White House press release confirmed that in his telephone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Joe Biden “affirmed the United States’ unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in the Donbas and Crimea.” Other high-level administration officials, including Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have done the same.Such...

The American Conservative wrote an article recently that showed just how much money Mark Zuckerberg alone spent on rigging the 2020 Election. He funneled money through The Center for Technology and Civic Life to pay for voting strategies to benefit Joe Biden and the Democrats, which actually led to the illegal changing of the laws without the approval of the legislative branch of these states. As Conservatives, we’ve been leaving Big Tech and Social Media in droves because of their censorship and deplatforming. Even here at Freedom First Network, we’ve experienced our share of Cancel Culture from both YouTube and...

In September 2019, two Pacific nations—the Solomon Islands and Kiribati—decided to drop diplomatic recognition of Taiwan in favor of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). As the Chinese regime races to inoculate tens of millions through coercive policies and a propaganda blitz, some local officials are quietly dodging the shots themselves.Amid Beijing’s aggressive vaccine push, dozens of officials from parts of Liaoning, a province in northeastern China, have cited various health reasons not to take the Chinese COVID-19 vaccine, internal documents obtained by The Epoch Times reveal. In a town called Xintai, located in the center of the province, only three out of 66 officials have gotten vaccinated, with another two on the registration list—showing a dismal willingness rate of less than 10 percent.Fifty government officers...

Once upon a time, companies did their best to avoid stepping into politics, knowing that it could be harmful to their bottom line, something companies are always concerned about. But now, they seem to be completely embracing Democratic talking points, falsely thinking that’s going to save their bottom line. How wrong they are.We saw Delta, Coke, and Major League Baseball all go over the slide on the new Georgia election law. Now United Airlines appears to want to join them in folly. If you thought their mission was about flying people places, think again. Apparently not.pic.twitter.com/7VHIRzpU9N— United Airlines (@united) April 5,...

JOE MANCHINSenator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is flexing his power once again in the closely divided Senate.Joe Biden is trying to push through a massively expensive $2.3 trillion infrastructure bill, which is mostly not infrastructure, but a bill chockfull of Democratic agenda items. Manchin is now making it clear that he is not on board with the bill as presently written, that he opposes the bill’s increase in the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%, saying that it was too high and would hurt American competitiveness. He’s also saying he’s not the only one having problems with the bill. So...
