In a year when numerous faculty members who aren’t “woke” have been pilloried, and many universities are revamping themselves in accordance with the agenda of Black Lives Matter and Antifa, I was amazed to read an article by Harvard history professor Naomi Oreskes and her student, Charlie Tyson, who claim that research findings that university professors overwhelmingly lean to the left are wrong. Oreskes and Tyson published “Is Academe Awash in Liberal Bias?” in the Chronicle of Higher Education on September 14. Their piece violates common sense and misconstrues basic statistical reasoning.

With two major universities naming colleges after him staffed by former Obama-Biden administration cronies and receiving generous donations from anonymous foreign sources, Joe Biden's embrace of Big Academia's money machine has been shielded by their respectability. This despite neither the Penn Biden Center for the University of Pennsylvania nor the Biden Institute of the University of Delaware providing any evident academic or research function for either of their host universities. While the former vice president is certainly feeling vulnerable due to the attacks on his one surviving son and his inexplicable financial arrangements, it is only one weak point in...

Looters ransacked stores in Philadelphia for a second night on Tuesday as Black Lives Matter protesters took to the streets of the city, as well as Washington DC and New York, following the deaths of two black men. Walter Wallace, 27, was killed Monday when Philadelphia police officers fired after he approached them with a knife. His family had called for an ambulance to get him help with a mental health crisis, not for police intervention, their lawyer said Tuesday. And Karon Hylton, 20, died Monday after crashing into a car while being chased on a Revel scooter by police...

You would expect that after two nights of riots, 30+ law enforcement officers injured, and businesses looted in Philadelphia that the "above the fold" story in city's leading newspaper would be related to that. Guess again.I'm at a loss for words. These leftists live in an alternative reality.Click the normal article link to view the home page for Inquire.com (the web presence for the Philadelphia Inquirer, once one of America's great daily newspapers.)

nIn a sane world, one ruled by reason, logic and the rule of law, there would be no reason to be nervous about President Trump’s reelection. But we live in a make-believe world created by a deceitful media cabal that has run up a 4 year track record of biased reporting which has racked up a cumulative 92% negative rate of coverage of the President, his policies and his supporters. But worse than the partisan coverage is the flat out squelching of stories/information that would provide voters with vital information that, yes, could sway the outcome of an election. Even...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem Lambs, Sheep, and Shepherds. Exodus7 and 8The Plague of Frogs 25 Seven days passed after the Lord struck the Nile. 8. 1.Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me. 2 If you refuse to let them go, I will send a plague of frogs on your whole country. 3 The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials...

One of the benefits of Adel Guindy’s new book, A Sword Over the Nile: A Brief History of the Copts Under Islamic Rule, is that it implicitly answers an important question: how and why did non-Muslim nations become Islamic? In this case, how did Egypt go from being overwhelmingly Christian in the seventh century to being overwhelmingly Muslim in the twenty-first century? To understand the significance of this question -- and because pre-Islamic Egypt’s profoundly Christian nature is often forgotten -- a brief primer is in order: Before Islam invaded, Egypt was home to some of Christendom’s earliest theological giants and...

Go to wsj.com and search wsj.com. Not a single mention of his explosive interview last night, and the mountains of proof he provided. Indeed there not a single actual news story which so much as mentions the name Bobulinski. The WSJ news staff are all democrats and they are blocking any mention of his name. The editorial staff is generally conservative and they have mentioned him but mostly in opinion pieces critiquing the media. Therefore the Wall Street Journal is not a newspaper since they are actively suppressing actual news. They, like other media sources, have become a local office...

Public health officials in Southern California are warning that celebrations for the city’s two new championship sports teams are spreading the coronavirus in several counties. The Los Angeles Dodgers captured their first World Series title since 1988 on Tuesday night, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays, four games to two. That victory came just weeks after the Los Angeles Lakers won their first NBA championship in a decade.

Europeans are in open rebellion over the reimposition of harsh anti-Coronavirus lockdown measures. Severe limits on personal freedoms have failed to arrest the spread of the China virus in Italy and Spain, as positive tests for the virus have surged in both nations after relaxing the measures imposed last spring. The Financial Times reports: The governments of Italy and Spain, the European countries hardest hit by the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, announced sweeping measures on Sunday to combat a surge in the number of new cases. Italy said it would introduce the harshest public health restrictions since...

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced on Tuesday that it released 250 immigrants with criminal histories in response to a coronavirus-related order issued by the Central District of California.

During the course of the COVID-19 crisis, an ongoing, and very legitimate, national debate has continued about the wisdom of lockdowns. The decision to shut down social and commercial activity in the name of health is itself arbitrary. Then, the decision to decide what to shut down and what not to shut down, what activities are more essential than others, adds more arbitrariness. These decisions reflect the values and priorities of those with power who are making them. In our increasingly secular society, this is posing enormous problems and challenges for religious freedom. Earlier this year, Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley...

In a limo, not a hearse (we're pretty sure), people 55 or older can arrange a ride to vote on Election Day in cities from Nashville to Los Angeles. People 55 or older in certain U.S. cities can fill out a form asking for a free ride to the polls on Election Day from a local funeral home. The project is a partnership between the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association and the National Urban League and is operating in Baltimore, Detroit, Kansas City, Los Angeles, and Miami. Participating funeral homes will be using their non-hearse fleet vehicles—often SUVs or...

On Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson did something he’d never done before: He dedicated his entire show to a single interview. The person he interviewed was Tony Bobulinski, an experienced international businessman who found himself working with Hunter Biden, James Biden, and others on a deal between the Biden group and CEFC, a Chinese energy company with ties to the Communist government and the military. Bobulinski powerfully confirms that Joe Biden was deeply involved in the transaction, which had its beginnings when Joe was still Vice President. Fox News has not yet uploaded (and may never upload) the interview in its...

An Obama-appointed judge has allowed states to continue illegally abusing the food stamp program. Late last Sunday, Judge Beryl A. Howell issued her ruling in a lawsuit by 19 states against the Trump administration, tearing down a critically important reform implemented by the Trump administration through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The reform, implemented through the rulemaking process observed by all federal government agencies, prevented states from fabricating high unemployment rates to provide welfare to ineligible individuals. These high unemployment rates were necessary for states to avoid tracking able-bodied adults without dependents, known as ABAWDs, receiving food stamps....

If you pay attention only to the polls and the mainstream media narrative, you’ll believe that, even though the presidential race is tightening, Biden still maintains a lead and can handily win the upcoming election. However, if you look at the information on the Twitter feed of Ronna McDaniel, the GOP Chairwoman, you’ll see an entirely different story and one that is more in sync with Trump’s well-attended rallies compared to Biden’s anemic afternoon teas. Today, Joe Biden shuffled out of his basement for another one of his “rallies.†It was an embarrassment: A Joe Biden rally. Seriously. pic.twitter.com/MftpWabn9c—...
