SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Three Sacramento-area college students were exposed to a person who has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to school officials. One student is enrolled at American River College, one is enrolled at Cosumnes River College and one is at Sacramento City College. All three have been told to stay home and monitor their own health. The students were exposed by working as medical professionals, but it is unknown where exactly the students were exposed. The students from American River College and Cosumnes River College returned to their respective schools after the exposure.

A student living in a dormitory at UC Davis has shown “mild symptoms” of coronavirus and has been placed in isolation, along with two other students living in the dorm, Yolo County and university officials said Thursday. The student has a runny nose and a cough after potentially being exposed to someone with coronavirus, officials said. The individual is in isolation at a home off campus.
