After growing up in Nebraska, then moving to southern California to teach school, I married my husband and moved to northern California (Fremont and Auburn).

We decided to move again and purchased a small business in Oregon. It was great to be home as my five children arrived home each day. During this time my husband "learned me" about the merits of the Republican Party!

My husband died several years ago and my children now dot the US map from Arizona to Illinois to Washington and back to Oregon. I am also the proud grandmother of thirteen wonderful grandchildren.

After my husband's death I became active in a peer ministry for divorced, separated and widowed individuals - Beginning Experience. Anyone who has lost a loved one will benefit from this fantastic weekend available throughout the United States and a couple other places around the world.

I am a very active Catholic at a small parish in Oregon -- served three years on the Pastoral Council (Was the chair during 2003-2004) and as the chair for our Faith-Sharing groups and prayer groups, which focus on evangelization and reconciliation.

I find myself at a point where I am moving on with my life and have retired from work as an substitute instructional assistant in the local school district. I also own an internet business.

For further information, please Freepmail me.

Meditations by Padre Pio

Some persons when they are with the good, are good; when they are with the bad they follow evil. This is to have half a conscience; it is to act like children who, in the presence of strangers, abuse the occasion to eat things that please their taste, certain that the parents will not reprove them.
