Featured Term (selected at random):
A biblical term popularized by the Second Vatican Council to describe the members of the Church. The expression brings out the fact that those who belong to the Church form a visible society, that they are distinctive, specially chosen by God, and composed of all baptized believers in Christ throughout the world. Their degree of membership depends on their degree of faith, obedience to the Church's precepts, and sanctity or union with God.

So who are the FReepers who are not members of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church who fit into this scale?

Catholic Word of the Day Ping!
Please send me a FReepmail if you would like to be on the Catholic Word of the Day Ping List.
Now that's not true at all...Whether I am at the Mall, a movie theater, a restaurant, or the local pub, there is nothing that would clue me or anyone else in that there are or are not Catholics present...There is no distinction or visible society...
specially chosen by God,
This author must be of the Calvinist Catholic bent, eh???
and composed of all baptized believers in Christ throughout the world.
Been numerous conversations one these threads where some Catholics claimed that being a believer is not a requirement...Baptism, yes...Believer, not necessarily...
Their degree of membership depends on their degree of faith, obedience to the Church's precepts, and sanctity or union with God.
I hope you agree that this is a bunch of bunk...
There are not different degrees in the body of Christ...If you're a child of God, you're in...If not, you're out...Do some Catholics here have children where some of them are more family members and some are less??? Craaaazy, man...

Yes, people can tell you are a member of the People of God by the way you treat them.
Love God
Love your neighbor as yourself.
You will see it — I’m sure.
Have you ever heard of the levels in heaven — each will be placed according to the way he/she liver his/her life.
Love God
Love your neighbor as yourself.
