What part of there was no physical examination do you fail to understand.
The doctor was guessing over the phone... Guessing on a high ranking official is NOT a professional.
You have tougher investigation going through an airport.
To: Vermont Lt
So, you have the right to declare who should get sliced open and have their head cut open, like baseball cap?I was being facetious.

No you are ignoring the facts.
There was no physical Examination. You don’t guess how they died.
To: Enlightened1
What is it you wanted? An autopsy on the spot?
Or did you want the judge to drive two hours to look at the dead body?
What type of a professional do you need to declare someone dead?
so, you believe that this Texas Judge or JOP was in on the conspiracy? You think that Scalia’s personal doctor, whom Scalia visited last week, was in on the conspiracy? You think he provided secret conspiracy news to theJudge?
So you believe the Justices family has either been bought off or scared off so much that none of them have questioned his death and called for an investigation? All nine of them? Plus their twenty kids?
So ALL of those people—and we are up to thirty, if you are keeping count, each of whom could stop the train and easily “demand” an investigation?
You have specific concerns, each of which would bring more people into this conspiracy? How many people—not in this dark agency that knocked off a Supreme Court Justice—are involved in this conspiracy?
To: Vermont Lt
Scalia was NOT at a nursing home or hospital.
Trust me if you die in a neighbor’s house on the weekend. The authorities will examine the body to make sure there was no foul play.
You have a high ranking government official that is found dead with a pillow over his face.
There is no physical examination, and you think that’s normal?
To: Enlightened1
He did not guess. He knew the guy was dead. The scene was clean. No sign of distress, no sign of foul play. He called the guys doctor and after consulting with Scalia’s Doctor, he was comfortable saying it was natural.
I am sorry you need to have CSI on the scene, and maybe you think all death is dramatic. You won’t offer any personal experience, such as how many dead old people you have had experience with. I am sorry you are upset because this man’s family was probably waiting for the phone call.
Have you heard anyone on TV that knew the guy act surprised? Shocked? Pounding their fist on the table?
Get over it. He’s dead.
To: Enlightened1
Scalia died of old age. No conspiracy, No murder.

Always remember Jim Fixx, he was doing great, healthy as hell, out jogging when suddenly his heart said âhey Jim remember how you used to be an overweight 2 pack a day smoker with a family history of heart troubles?â and that was it for Jim.
_________________________
Yep. And there was an autopsy performed on Jim Fixx.
_________________________
The judge signed off on the certificate. Thatâs an investigation. You might not like how much investigation, but too bad.
_________________________
No, that’s not an investigation. And you’re right in suggesting that I don’t like it.
Here’s the issue: If Scalia had been experiencing health problems or if he did have some diminished capacity causing changes in life style, or if he had been discussing stepping down from the Court, his death might not have seemed so sudden or unexpected. As far as I know, none of those things were happening, and his death apparently was, in fact, very sudden - and very opportune for people who may not have liked him. I don’t see the wisdom in overlooking this and assuming that it was time for him to die.

the only warning (the whole left arm thing is basically a myth, it shows up on maybe 10% of heart attacks, yeah if youâre having it worry... although that looks like a female name so never mind, women pretty much never get the left arm thing).

Second, I was only addressing you, and wanted the rest of the Freepers to see what you said.
Looks like nobody really cared what you had to say........."ALL" received -0- responses........LOL!
That's all right, even clowns run out of being funny..........
To: discostu
You don’t have to have diminished capacity for the heart to declare “game over”.

Are you reading only every third word?
Please describe to me how it should have been done. And put in that where these resources were going to come from, and just how long the Justice of the Supreme Court would lay there festering in his own shit.
Please help us all understand how your world works.
Because I am pretty sure this is not the first person to die in West TX.
And, again, tell me how many dead bodies have you come across and if you could tell whether they were killed, or if they died. I am longing to hear how you can help us all understand. You keep making the same statement over and over.
And, just to let you know...if an old guy went to visit his kids in Texas, and he died in his sleep you would not have a police investigation. The Paramedics would come, make a phone call, and then tell you to call the undertaker.
Clearly you have not been around this process much.
To: Vermont Lt
Iâve been around a lot of old people. MOST of them die this way. Except itâs at home. That is the only difference.
___________________________
Your experience is different from mine. What I’ve seen is that people decline in health first. Then they die. By that I mean they decline in ways that are perceptible to others. Scalia had been serving on the SC and that very day he had been doing something sporting (hunting?). He was fit enough to go on a weekend trip. He did not appear to be at death’s door. Therefore, his death was surprising, shocking, unexpected. In any case, it will have fallout. For this reason alone we should be very, very sure about what happened.

Honest, I am not trying to be argumentative, but let’s say he was murdered. Shot in his home during a break in.
Unless Obama was literally the killer, it doesn’t matter how he died. The ball is in Obama’s court. You know he’s gonna make the appointment.
So, the man is dead. It sucks. But nothing is going to bring him back, and nothing is going to stop this train.
To: Vermont Lt
You’re right - the train will not be stopped. And no, nothing will bring Scalia back. But if we applied that reasoning to every death, we would never investigate, regardless of the circumstances.
Sadly, people are skeptical!

What evidence. There is no evidence, only speculation.
The Justice of the Peace spoke with the authorities present as well as Scalia’s doctor. She did not just say, ok, natural causes it is.
The family made the decision not to have an autopsy done. They know much more than we know. I will trust their judgment on this.
As for the pillow—I am highly suspicious of that claim because in his earlier interview, the owner said nothing about a pillow. Besides, a pillow over his head does not mean over his face. If there were signs of asphyxia, a post-mortem would have been done, regardless of the wishes of the family.
To: Protect the Bill of Rights
Here this is the original article when it first came out. The pillow over the face came from the witness who found him. The pillow was probably left to send a message to the other Supreme Court justices and congress. It was to send a message. It's just like in the movie Godfather when they send the fish wrapped in a jacket. It was a message. Scalia was one of the main fighters protecting the U.S. Constitution. Which now hangs on a thread.
The guy who found the body said that. If you click on the Drudge Headline it will take you to the link. Here is the quote,
"We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled," said Poindexter.
"He was lying very restfully. It looked like he had not quite awakened from a nap," he said.
Scalia,79, did not have a pulse and his body was cold, and after consulting with a doctor at a hospital in Alpine, Poindexter concluded resuscitation would have been futile, He then contacted federal authorities, at first encountering a series of answering services because he was calling on a weekend.
http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local/article/Texas-ranch-owner-recalls-Scalia-s-last-hours-6830372.php
To: Enlightened1
A pillow over his HEAD, not his face. Why do you keep saying his face?
This article is dated the 14th
http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/02/15/us/ranch-owner-recalls-finding-justice-antonin-scalias-body.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur&referer=http://m.facebook.com&_r=1
Snip:
Justice Scalia had no pulse and was clearly dead, Mr. Poindexter recalled in an interview on Sunday.
“His hands were sort of almost folded on top of the sheets,” said Mr. Poindexter, a manufacturing executive from Houston.
He added: “It was just like he was taking a nap. He just went to sleep and didn't wake up.”
No where is there mention of a pillow.
Think about it. If there was a “pillow over his head” or anywhere close to what might suggest suffocation, don't you think it would be the first thing he would say? And don't you think the reporters would run with it? The best way to clarify this is for Poindexter to explain what “on his head” means. Has anyone bothered to ask him, I wonder?
It is quite possible a pillow was on his head. He could have been resting against 2 or 3 pillows and after he passed his weight shifted and a pillow partially covered his head. But again—over his head is not the same as on his face.
I am sure the Scalia family has more to worry about than what we post on FR, but I can imagine they would like information to be factual. A pillow over his face is not factual and infers actions that have no basis in fact.
To: Enlightened1
If it were not foul play, they would have handled it professionally.
