Here's the reality:
When President Obama fulfills his constitutional obligation by naming his nominee for the Supreme Court, Republicans in Congress are going to do every single thing they can to try to prevent his choice from making it onto the bench. They'd prefer to delay, delay, delay until they elect a President Cruz or President Trump who can nominate someone who supports their brand of extreme conservativism.
Well, we've got to let them know that we won't take this kind of obstructionism without a fight. We also won't let them elect a Republican president who will roll back every inch of progress we've made and appoint justices who feel the same.
[Gratitous whinning for money removed.]
Thank you for standing up with us and fighting for our shared Democratic values -- it means so much to me now, and it will mean the world to the millions of Americans whose lives are changed for the better when we have a leader in the Oval Office who will build on President Obama's historic progress.
All the best,
Amy
Amy K. Dacey, Chief Executive Officer, Democratic National Committee
Hmmm... Amy's definition of progress certainly differs from mine.
"... President Obama's historic progress."
Ditto!
"Thank you for standing up with us and fighting for our shared Democratic values..."
Amy, your values are lots of things, but Democratic isn't one of them. How 'bout Marxist values? Yeah, that works.
I wonder if Amy as CEO and Debbie as Chairman get along?
I would ask Mark Levin to vet all candidates and pick the youngest acceptable one available.
Obama will nominate next week. Senate will confirm.
Seems to me this woman must be completely out of her mind. No wonder the country’s in such a mess. We’ve had 7 yrs. of Obama & she wants us to continue with his program of progress???? What is it with these people? I’d be perfectly willing to let her have her way if it didn’t affect the real citizens of our republic.
Wrongo— it’s time to re-introduce the concept of “Borking” any name that may come up and do so until the year is over, just like they did to Ronald Reagan, with Robert Bork- a process chaired and run by one true lying sob moron— Joe Biden (w/ Ted kennedy- hiccup).
Amy, Amy, Amy you ignorant slot, the Republicans in the Senate are not extreme conservatives. In fact it’s highly doubtful they are conservative at all. Why do you think they have said over and over again: Do not vote dor Trump of Cruz!!!!
Agree, but RINOS will vote for his nominee.
Mark Levin said on his radio show that he was the one that vetted Anthony Kennedy for Reagan.
And after Kennedy gave America perverse marriage leading to persecution of Christians, Mark commented that Kennedy had lied to him.
So what good does it do?
Here’s what can do some good:

Really!? Interesting, thanks.
>>Obama will nominate next week. Senate will confirm.<<
Unlikely. When the cowardly McConnell says they won’t even vote that is pretty much it.
The nominee will probably not even make it out of the Judiciary Committee.
Too many hoops to jump this time.
...would actually love the nominee from lifelong DEM, pro-choice, supporter of socialized medicine, and most incredibly 9/11 truther... cough, cough "President" trump.
Mister trump has already suggested his uber liberal, pro choice sister for the High Court.
.
She is 78 y.o., and her last appointment/upgrade was made by Bill Clinton.... fwiw. Her last name is Barry
Someone please remind Oblama HE TOOK 7 YEARS to make a decision on the XL Keystone Pipeline. TWO can play at this game!
Tillis has already cowered in fear of being an obstructionist. Mostly he fear being a patriot.
Then it’s over, except for the revolution.
It is over.
My FRiend, this from redstate.com...
Trump had at one point said that his sister, who is a sitting federal judge, would make a great Supreme Court judge.
Lifelong DEM and 9/11 truther Mister trump might have since reversed himself, but I made none of this up.
