A Florida homeowner shot and killed an armed man who broke into his home on Saturday, according to Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco. Ronald Fleet, 55, was apparently angry that the homeowner and his family were helping his estranged wife as the two went through a divorce, Nocco said. The wife was related to the homeowner’s family, Nocco said, and was trying to get out of a “horrific marriage.” The incident took place just after noon on Saturday, police said, when Fleet came to the Land O’Lakes house and began trying to kick in the front door. The homeowner grabbed...

Well, I'm sure I've got your attention now, with that provocative title! But I'm not kidding. I think President Donald Trump will win by an electoral landslide on Nov. 3 because of guns, black voters and the NFL. Let me explain this winning formula. First, guns. It's hard to believe Democrats are this clueless, blind, deaf and dumb. And I stress dumb. They've made the 2020 election about guns. What a huge mistake in a country dominated by gun owners. First, a Soros-funded St Louis circuit attorney made the PR mistake of a lifetime: indicting Mark and Patricia McCloskey for...

Christine Byers of KSDK in Missouri has uncovered evidence of prosecutorial misconduct by St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner's office. Kim is one of the radical prosecutors who has been elected with money from George Soros linked radical leftist “Justice & Public Safety” political action committee. Gardner has drawn national attention with her decision to prosecute a St Louis couple for defending their home against an angry mob of Black Lives Matter agitators. The document obtained by 5 On Your Side (KDSK) show pressure was applied by Gardner's office to structure the police report, so as to alter the evidence to...

Elections have consequences. Whether voting for president or senator, Americans should be wary of those who avoid discussing their stands on the issues. When Joe Biden and Mark Kelly do talk about the issues, it is obvious that their views are in line with the leftists. Just because Mark Kelly's name has the astronaut title, that does not mean that it should change to the title of senator. Those who might think of voting for him should look at his stance or non-stance on the issues. American Thinker interviewed some Arizonans who spoke about how Kelly is not right for...

New York AG seeks to dissolve NRA in lawsuit accusing leaders of self-dealing, causing $64 million in losses New York Attorney General Letitia James was set to announce that the state is seeking to dissolve the National Rifle Association through a lawsuit. According to the suit, the senior leadership of the NRA squandered millions in donations on personal trips, private jets and expensive meals. The suit argues that the four executives, including CEO Wayne LaPierre, shouldn’t be permitted to ever again serve on the board of a New York charity. New York Attorney General Letitia James was set to announce...

If police determined that at least one person in the mob on Mark and Patricia McCloskey’s property was armed, another labeled “Human Shield,” and several issued threats against the couple … then why were they charged at all? Local NBC affiliate KSDK reported last week that documents and a voicemail show that Kimberly Gardner’s office pressured the lead detective on the case to “quickly reassess this evidence,” and when that didn’t work, threatened his supervisor with bad publicity unless the detective relented. That puts the prosecution of the McCloskeys in an even more questionable light — and likely makes it...

Portland Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler announced in June that he was authorizing radical changes to how policing was done in his city, including disbanding the city’s gun violence reduction team. Now the city is grappling with a surge in violent crime. “Portland police are scrambling to respond to 15 homicides in the city so far in July. That’s the most killings in one month in more than three decades,” The Oregonian reported. “So far this year, 24 people have died in homicides in Portland.” While the city has been in the national spotlight for violent riots that have occurred for...

US Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) made another clumsy television appearance today. On "Fox News Sunday," Duckworth struggled to speak grammatical English and made several more bizarre statements. Duckworth continues to insist that Russia is paying bounties to members of the Taliban to kill US troops in Afghanistan despite the fact that numerous US intelligence agencies have dismissed the claims as being uncorroborated. Duckworth also alleged that the Department of Homeland Security is kidnapping ("mostly peaceful") protesters off the streets of Portland, Oregon where the US Court House is under attack. Duckworth doubled down on stupid by stating that universal background...

Austin Texas Police Chief Brian Manley 26 July, 2020 Link to video A little before 10 p.m. in Austin Texas, on 25 July, 2020, a crowd of activists/protestors/agitators were apparently illegally walking/marching in the street in Austin, Texas. One of the participants, Garrett Foster, 28 was carrying an AK47 style rifle. At least one other person in the mob was armed. While there are many lights on in the city, it is at night, not daylight. A vehicle turned the corner onto Congress Avenue, encountering the street blocked by numerous persons. The vehicle horn was honked. Multiple people...

On the first day of this month a mild mannered poet from Jakarta and I created a bilingual declaration of peace. Here is the English language half of it: "A DECLARATION OF PEACE WE LOVE & RESPECT PEACE. SO WE DECLARE THAT FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY AND CIVILISED HUMANITY ARE THE PRINCIPAL FOUNDATIONS OF PEACE." As General Douglas MacArthur said "Men since the beginning of time have sought peace." Liberals talk of themselves as peace makers but the Quaker Richard Nixon changed the world by talking with Cold War adversaries. Ronald Reagan ended and won the Cold War. It has been written...

In Utah, members of a militia claim their presence deters protesters from becoming violent and destroying the state Nicolle Okoren in Provo Published on Mon 27 Jul 2020 05.00 EDT 1,754 The Utah Citizens’ Alarm is only a month old, and yet it already boasts 15,000-plus members. The citizen militia’s recruits wear military fatigues and carry assault rifles. Their short-term goal, they say, is to act as a physical presence of intimidation to deter protesters from becoming violent and destroying the state of Utah. Their long-term goal: to arm and prepare the state of Utah against underground movements they believe...

--snip-- Remember COVID, the Chinese flu the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) deliberately infected the world with? Like all Chinese products it did not work as advertised but we locked down the economy anyway. Well, one of the big reasons people did not starve is because truckers kept trucking. Most drivers keep a gun in their cab. When authorities confiscate that gun, deliveries to the cities will cease. It would be a matter of weeks before New York and LA started to run out of food. How many homeowners do you think would need to be assaulted before a visit from...

The annual Rally to Protect Your Right to Keep and Bear Arms at the Pennsylvania Capitol that had been postponed in June has been rescheduled for Sept. 29. Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-Butler County, announced on Wednesday that the rally will begin that day at 11 a.m. on the front steps of the Capitol and carry the theme, “Stand Your Ground Against Socialism.” In announcing the new date for the rally that in the past has drawn a few thousand attendees, Metcalfe said the theme grows out of what he calls “Gov. Tom Wolf’s tyrannical abuse of emergency powers” during the...

Last Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky, about 300 armed members of the NFAC (Not F---ing Around Coalition), a self-described "Black militia" based in Atlanta, had what the Louisville Courier-Journal called "a tense standoff" with about 50 armed Three Percenters, which the paper described as a "far-right... militia." While the incident, which ended without violence, could be seen as yet another sign that the country is descending into 1968-style chaos, it was also a striking illustration of the Second Amendment's enduring practical and symbolic importance that scrambled conventional stereotypes about the right to armed self-defense. Since Kentucky allows open (or concealed) carrying...

The New York State Supreme Court last week granted a motion ordering the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to turn over the name, zip codes and license category of anyone who was granted a firearm license in 2018. The New York Daily News made the request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request process, which provides public information from government agencies to citizens and journalists. ... The Daily News argues that the information can be turned over because of a state law – known as the SAFE Act – that declared "that names and addresses of all firearms...

Gun control has a problem with the truth. They can’t shoot straight. Brady: United Against Gun Violence is the latest example of just making it up as they go and thinking no one will notice. Officials there sent out a plea for money claiming the Trump administration’s rollback of a 2002 State Department ban on suppressor exports is putting U.S. service members’ lives at risk. The fundraiser email read as follows:"The harm is clear: This repeal will increase the risk that U.S. service members will be shot or killed with American-made guns and accessories. "This repeal is immoral. It’s unpatriotic. It’s...

Eight were arrested Saturday night in Eugene, one for firing a gun in the crowd during the confrontation with counter-protesters and others for vandalism of property downtown early Sunday morning A protest for the Black Lives Matter movement held in solidarity with Portland protesters Saturday night in Eugene was a night of clashing and close calls, as it almost immediately devolved into an aggressive confrontation with counter-protesters and later property destruction downtown by some. The deliberate property destruction was reminiscent of the first night of protests following the killing of George Floyd on May 29, where several businesses on Sixth...
