A Pennsylvania man was arrested after allegedly leaving a backpack full of Molotov cocktails in a bush outside protests in downtown Pittsburgh, authorities said on Saturday. Matthew Michanowicz, 52, faces federal charges after he was captured on surveillance video placing the military-style backpack at PNC Plaza, according to a complaint by the U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Some have said that 43-year-old Scott Edmisten, who was arrested hours after the Las Vegas shooting for doing 55mph in a 30mph zone at 4am on Monday and found with a cache of weapons and ammo including fully automatic rifles, was possibly Stephen Paddock's accomplice. So, far it seems unlikely. First, for the record, I have no problem with people having weapons of all sorts and under the Second Amendment, that should be protected. With that said, it is curious that all of this was in his car, not his home, at 4am in the morning.

DETROIT – Federal agents investigating what they describe as a Christian militia bent on violence against police seized suspected crack cocaine and steroids, weapons, gas masks and a book of Adolf Hitler's speeches during raids of members' homes last month, according to search warrant records. The raids were conducted over a 4 1/2-hour span in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana on the night of March 27. Girard, 45, was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly storing approximately 20 weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
